They were very apologetic for the issues we encountered and resolved them as soon as they could. Upon arrival I noticed the floor did not look clean as well as the bathrooms. There was a stain in the master bedroom closet carpet. The pool area only had two sporting event chairs to accommodate the pool area. The microwave did not work, the kitchen utensils provided were rusty and old, and there was very few silverware provided. The sink in the guest bathroom flooded out in the floor. The wallpaper in the master bedroom/ bathroom was falling off wall. The owners of this house need to give this house some immediate attention. It is in a very nice neighborhood and has great potential. I will say everyone I contacted from Glass Casa was wonderful. They wanted to move my family to another house however there was not one available with a private pool. They did as much as they could to help with the issues we encountered. They did give us a full refund which I very much appreciate. Unless the owners have done a complete overhaul of this house, I would not recommend renting.

Great location. Two golf carts was a huge bonus! Gated community gave family comfort. Great amenities at the clubhouse (movie theater, pool, playground, hot tub, tennis and basketball court). Highly recommend! Will be back again.

This house was perfect for what we were looking for. Everything that it said it had in the listing it had. Complete with new pool furniture, new coffee maker, new pots and pans and much more.

The biggest problem was the golf cart having something wrong with it and getting stuck at the beach for several hours until they were able to switch it out. The other being the air conditioner not turning on it kept saying it needed a new filter. The Queen bed was very firm for us.

Staff was extremely attentive and friendly, having golf carts available made the stay fun and accessible to surrounding areas.

Great location with a lovely community pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and theater; and good proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We enjoyed golf at several area courses.

There is a great washer and dryer in the house. The living area is spacious. The master bath is a good size and the shower head is fabulous. The second bath is small.

What we were disappointed by:

While some furniture was in good condition, several pieces were unstable or soiled to the point we could not or would not use them.
The grill is not new, as described on the website. In fact, it was filthy and lacked a propane tank so we couldn't use it until we called about it and it was rectified. The outdoor area needs a good cleaning. The brick appeared to be moldy (a good power washing would likely address that). The ice maker or fridge was filthy and unusable. The rocking chairs on the patio were broken.

We visited in December, when temps dropped rapidly from the previous week. The beds had summer-weight bedding; the gas fireplace was apparently only for aesthetics; and the heat wasn't turned for quite awhile after we called about it.

To be fair, everyone we dealt with was pleasant and responsive. The house just needs some TLC. We looked at other rentals in the area during our visit and they were in better condition than this one. With some paint and new furniture it would be a good rental. For families with kids who don't want to worry about whether they will destroy a very nice place, well, this might be the ticket.

House was well kept, and in a great location. Didn't use the grill or hot tub, so can't speak to those. The golf cart was fantastic and convenient for heading to the beach and the pool. A few curious things - the house has very nicely upgraded appliances, yet the comforter in the master bedroom seemed to be 10+ years old. Seems like the big hitters (appliances, hot tub, etc) have been updated, but some of the smaller details could be updated to further enhance they stay. That being said, this place is a great deal and a great place to stay in Destin. Highly recommended.

The property was nice. Had two golf carts only one worked, and was fixed night before we left after being reported day of arrival. Gas grill wasn't clean, but maintenance came and cleaned it after reported. Screen torn out on patio, but was repaired after reported. So, I will give it a go again because prompt attention. All together family had a great time and want to come back.

Really enjoyed staying here. The location is great, easy to get to the beach with golf carts so you don't have to get sand in your vehicle. Only complaint would be the beds are not very comfortable.

House was pretty clean but there were some bugs here and there that should have been exterminated prior to and the table needs to be redone, every time we ate at it something else happened to it, very worn. Also the frying pan was very small for large party to try and cook, we had to go buy one. But overall the home was good.

Do not rent this property until you have spoken to someone who has recently stayed.here. Golf carts not at all what you would expect: linens are old and worn: furniture is filthy, mattresses substituted with futon pads. Property managers are not responsive. A more extensive review was sent to VRBO directly.

Will come back to Destin but will stay elsewhere.
