Stayed here twice--a couple years ago and recently (a couple weeks ago). Both times, was great. The two masters are great, and the kids enjoyed their own hideout--the loft area, which has twin bunk and a pull-out sofa, and TV. Very clean, and great communication with the owner from the instant I booked to the time I left. Feels more spacious than the photos, feels like a stand-alone home. A stone's throw from Tahoe Donner. Would definitely book here again!

Came with our family of 5 to find a cozy, well furnished condo with plenty of games, DVDs, loft lounge for the kids, and functional kitchen. Easily walked to the ski slopes (9 mins). Overall very happy with the condo. Only issue: Upstairs neighbor unfriendly and inconsiderate, hopefully you can avoid her!

This beautiful, modern cabin in Truckee was the ideal getaway for our family ski trip. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the amazing amenities – they had so much fun they didn't want to leave! The cabin itself was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We loved that it was within walking distance of a smaller ski slope, perfect for our little ones to practice and build confidence. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend this cabin to any family looking for a memorable ski vacation!

Nice condo in Tahoe Donner
Great couple of days spent in Tahoe and this condo worked well for what we needed. Spacious (more spacious than the pictures represent) comfy and clean. Kids loved having half the garage as a playroom and we all enjoyed hiking to the cross country ski trails out back. We didn't spend much time inside and when we were inside, it's a little dark.

Walkable to ski slopes. Access to hot tub and pool at local health club was great. Garage has toys and sleds. Really enjoyed our stay thank you!

Great family vacation!
We are so grateful for Jame’s property! It was the perfect home away from home for our family’s first vacation since covid and our first time seeing snow. We are from Hawaii and spent many days in the backyard building snow people and sledding! James garage was well stocked with snow toys for the children. The playroom next to the kitchen was the kids’ favorite spot in the house! My apologies if my children were too loud for the neighbors. We got no complaints…but goodness, they were noisy and thoroughly enjoying themselves!! We also made great use of the gas fireplace, and the heated master bathroom. Sooo grateful as we were not used to the cold. Mahalo mahalo for the hospitality!!

Gracious and Accommodating hosts
We became sick at the last minute and were unable to go on our holiday. The hosts were extremely accommodating and allowed us a one-time reschedule. We were extremely grateful and highly recommend transacting with these hosts!

Winter wonderland
We had a wonderful stay at this property. We were so close to the ski resort where my daughters learned to ski! James was super responsive and the house was immaculate and well stocked. Our kids had a blast. We will be back for sure!

Perfect for family with children
We loved our stay at this condo, and it was perfect for our family (me, my husband, 3 and 1 year old kids). The kids loved the toys and the loft area was a great space for them to play. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the property was very quiet. We also loved the gas fireplace! The house had most everything you would need, including soap but there was no shampoo. The kitchen was very well appointed and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tahoe!

Perfect stay!
This place was absolutely perfect for our family's trip to Tahoe! The home was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, the beds extremely comfortable and the toys a happy distraction for our kids. The check-in process was seamless and James was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We are already dreaming of our next trip back!

Fantastic Place
We had a hard time leaving this property, we took our 8yr old daughter skiing at Tahoe Donner for the first time. We were literally 5 mins away from the resort which made getting there a breeze. The property is immaculate and is stocked with games and toys which our daughter loved, the owners really make sure that your stay here is perfect. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience Tahoe Donner.

Great Family Snow Weekend
The house was exactly as described and the check-in was super easy. The space was perfect for our family with two young kids with lots of toys and kids plates/silverware. It was clean and cozy. The walk to Tahoe Donner was easy and the slopes there were perfect for my 7 year old beginner skier.
It was also nice to have some space right outside to play in the snow. There is a clearing behind the rental where kids had been building snow forts, snowmen and sled runs that my kids liked exploring. It was the perfect long weekend getaway, we’ll definitely consider coming back again.

Great stay!
The place is centrally located and has everything you need for an active vacation, or just stay at home and relax.
James is super accommodating host. He was in touch with us even before the trip to make sure that we can get safely to the area as the conditions were pretty bad because of the storm.

This was a gem! My friends and I enjoyed a much-needed girls’ weekend, and this property was comfortable, well-appointed, and near plenty of activities. We had a great time. Also, James the host/owner was VERY helpful and easy to get a hold of when we had a small issue upon arrival. Super responsive and overall great to work with. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great week in Donner!
We had a wonderful week at the property. The toys and kids things were such a great addition. Our kids didn’t even want to leave the condo because they just wanted to play with the toys! Only issue is the early-rising neighbors upstairs, but it helped us get a (very) early start on the day.

Beautiful condo with great amenities for kids!
We wish we had stayed so much longer! This condo is spotlessly clean, and has a great full kitchen. Everything is meticulously organized with bins labeled with each set of extra linens — love this helpful touch! There were toys, books, and games for kids and a whole play area in the garage.
It’s a little drive to Lake Tahoe, about 35 or 45 minutes to the beaches we visited, but a perfectly lovely spot to stay!

We loved our stay here. Everything was as great as advertised. XC trails just outside the front door and a short walk to the downhill lifts. James was immediately responsive to any emails I sent. Highly recommended! We'll be back.

Perfect Spring Getaway
This was a fantastic, super comfortable condo, just a short stroll from family friendly Tahoe Donner Downhill, and very close to Tahoe Donner Cross Country. We did both - a sunny and uncrowded pleasure. The place was so clean, so comfortable, and we loved your DVD collection. And we got some nice meals in downtown Truckee, a really cool town that has done a great job on social distancing. We would definitely come back. Thank you James et al.!

Wonderful property that is very well kept with lots of amenities for the kids. Had everything we needed for young children and had a great open space out back for kids to play and sled. Easy access and check in. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Home Away From Home
The feeling you get when staying here is the same feeling you get when staying with family or friends who actually care about you. Everything you need is provided, and then some. This is the only place we stay where I feel a bit sad upon leaving!

Clean and cozy condo
This was a clean and cozy cabin in Truckee. Very close to Tahoe Donner downhill ski area. Lots of space for snow play in backyard. Indoor parking was a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay here. James was extremely easy to communicate with and accommodating. Response within one hour. The place was very clean, well stocked, and tons of toys for the kids. Great location near Tahoe Donner ski resort.

Nice Truckee condo
The condo was updated and well stocked. The layout really worked for our family of 6. The kids were able to play in the snow right off the back porch, which was great. Owners were super responsive. Even the neighbors were nice! The only thing I didn’t realize (probably my fault) was that it’s a downstairs unit, so there was some noise from upstairs. It was loud at times, but mostly stopped during quiet hours.

Great property
This was our third time staying at this property and James and Alli don't disappoint! The rental was clean, comfortable beds (which isn't always the case at rentals), and plenty of amenities, including a ton of toys for our kids to play with. Perfect family getaway in Tahoe Donner
We loved staying here. The place is modern and very comfortable, and it was very roomy for our family of 4. What really sets it apart is the location and the incredible selection of toys. The location is perfect...just a 5-10 min walk to Tahoe Donner ski resort and there's plenty of open space to hike around out back to hike and play in the snow. Now to the toys - there were tons! They kept my impossible to entertain 2 year old busy all week. It was amazing. My 8 year old also appreciated the board games. I highly recommend staying here!

True Relaxation
From the moment we booked our stay, James was attentive and professional. All details were taken care off, which made our stay relaxing.
The condo was well appointed with family friendly items. The kid's toys were a huge hit! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The loft was a good place for the kids to hang out while the adults hung out in the living room area. This made for relaxing evenings after a long day of adventure.
The condo is located in a great area. The short walk (50 yards) to the trail was awesome! So many section of trails to choose from. We spent many hours exploring the nearby trails, streams, and even got to play in a bit of snow!! All within walking distance.
If you're looking for a place to relax and adventure, this is the perfect location. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations for my visit to Tahoe Donner. The condo is very clean and equipped with everything I needed. The location is close to many amenities. I highly recommend this condo for others to enjoy.
