We recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at the charming Riad Tigmi Du Soleil, nestled in the picturesque village of Ait Ben Haddou. Our experience was beyond delightful, marred only by the fact that we couldn't stay longer. The warm and friendly nature of our host truly embodied the spirit of Moroccan hospitality. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable, personalized, and memorable. Whether it was providing insightful local recommendations or sharing fascinating stories about the area, he made us feel genuinely welcome and enriched our cultural immersion. Riad Tigmi Du Soleil is a magical blend of traditional Moroccan aesthetics and modern comforts. Each room is thoughtfully designed, exuding an old-world charm while boasting the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The Riad offers an ideal retreat for those who seek tranquillity amidst authentic Moroccan architecture. One of the Riad's main highlights is its location. Ait Ben Haddou, with its unique earthen clay architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a jewel of Moroccan history. The Riad's strategic location allows for easy exploration of this historic village, which is an experience that every visitor to Morocco must embark on. The food served at the Riad is another aspect worth mentioning. The delicious traditional Moroccan dishes offered a culinary journey that further deepened our appreciation for the country's rich and diverse culture. The breakfast served was a fantastic start to the day, featuring a variety of local bread, jams, fresh fruit, and Moroccan tea. Overall, our stay at Riad Tigmi Du Soleil was a sublime blend of comfort, culture, and authentic Moroccan hospitality. It is a place where one can feel the true essence of Morocco, thanks to the genuine warmth of the host and the enchanting ambiance of the property and its surroundings.

The owner was super friendly and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The room was big, clean and cozy. We really loved the rooftop terrace and the entire house. Also the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for everything. We would come back anytime.

Very interesting place, nice view from the terrace, possibility to ask for a dinner

The host, Slimane, and his family are extremely nice and welcoming. The interiors are lovely. The breakfast was served on the terrace with a view of the mountains, it was simple but tasty, some Moroccan pancakes with honey, jam and cheese. We also had the tajine for dinner and it was the best one we had during our trip. The location is good if you want to rest from the chaos of Moroccan cities. It’s close to Ait Ben Haddou. It is also possible to use the hammam and have a massage. Highly recommended!

Super kind staff, lovely people! We had a very nice breakfast on the terrace with a nice view towards the mountains. The terrace also had an amazing view of the start at night.

The bathroom had a bit of a smell to it, which also got into the bedroom area. We opened a window which helped a bit.

Beautiful house, with a stunning Terrasse for breakfast in the morning The family are amazing and help you with any questions you might have Secure parking behind the building Short walk or (very short) drive to Ait Ben Haddou - after a day of driving we welcomed the walk - and got to see the starry sky on our way back :) Would recommend this place

Perfect stay with rental car!

Incredibly kind host family! Nice roof terrace overlooking the town to enjoy the sunset. It’s the perfect stay if you are with a rental car as you can easily get into town and park your car there.

This accommodation was not planned for us, because we had one in Marrakech during this time. But we realised that going to Ait Ben Haddou from there, and go back the same day, it is not rational. So we decided to "overpay" for that day and spend one night in riad. What a great decision it was! One day is definitely not enough there, so we had enough time for everything, plus this way we had the chance to spend a great night here and to get to know a warm, welcoming family. The breakfast was incredible, on the terrace with a beautiful view. The riad is located about 2 km from Ait Ben Haddou but for a few more minutes with car, you should not skip this one.

It's a super cozy family home where the owners will treat you like a family member. Beds are comfortable, there is a terrace with a great view to the mountains where you can have a tasty breakfast and you can even order lunch or dinner to have there. Definitely recommend!

Very nice and spacious room with the one and only hair dryer I ever encountered in Marocco (thank you - very nice!). Lovely terrace with a good mountain view. I was a bit stomach sick when we checked in and the lovely staff made sure I was ok. Had dinner in the riad, also very good tajine!

The terrace has lots of sun and a good mountain view, but sadly there is hardly any furniture up there so you can sit down comfortably.

Great guys running it, couldn't do enough to make you feel at home. Nice breakfast, great Tajine. They even have beer!

It was a bit cold, even with extra blankets, but the hit shower helped.

We felt like at our home and the staff in this riad is simple amazing. Friendly people, a great experience. We made a horse ride tour by the mountains with Morroco horseback ( riad manager’s cousin) that it was the most incredible and fun experience in the area. We were supposed to stay 1 night, however we loved this place so much that we extended it for 2 nights! we wil come back for sure! thanks for all the hospitality guys!!

Slimane was very welcoming. We watched the stars from the terrace. The food was nice and plentiful. Quiet location, close to Ait Ben Haddou. If you drive further on along this road the scenery is amazing.

The Riad is 2 km from Ait Ben Haddou so unless you're by car, be ready for the walk on the side of a provincial road. Slimane the host was super nice and friendly. The room was cozy and clean.

The hosts are really helpful and adjustable. Really nice place to stay. Good location. Parking available. They can also cook delicious meals for you . I really appreciate their hospitality

Th location was close to tourist town but outside which felt more secluded and special. There was amazing views from the rooftop and lots of common spaces. It also had hot water and overall good value for money. We also had dinner there and it was one of the best ones we had yet!

Breakfast was just bread and coffee with some jam, so a little small but not bad. The bed was a little hard, but lots of warm blankets.

Everything!! The family is so friendly, they give you the feeling and privacy to feel like home! The house is beautiful, such a nice style and everything super clean!! The breakfast on this beautiful terrace is wonderful! Such a nice view!! Ait ben haddou kasbah is just 3 minutes from it! We had a lovely stay thank you so much!!!! The price is much to cheap for what you get :)

Lovely place and lovely staff! Very comfortable, just around the corner from the more touristy section of the road, the area of town is very peaceful and quiet. the staff were very friendly and we felt well looked after during our stay. 10/10 for cleanliness :)
