Six long term friends stayed at this very clean, comfortable and convenient home. The owners were very responsive and fixed a light immediately…I would stay again knowing that I had to either pay for towel & bed linen usage or bring my own and that I needed to bring my own basic hand soap for the bathrooms.

Love this home, all the comforts of home away from home. Quiet neighborhood with all the convenience. Clean, quiet back yard. Perfect!!!

Our stay here was so pleasant. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The view in the backyard was so pretty and we enjoyed morning visits from the deer. We would rent again in a heartbeat!

The house is immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, though we did not do much cooking. It is an easy walk or bike ride to shops and the beach. All in all, a perfect place for our family’s visit to Empire.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend! Close to lots of hiking and biking. The sunsets over Lake Michigan were an easy walk or bike ride. Empire is a cute village too! We recommend Tiffany's homemade waffle cones.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. It was much larger than we expected, so it made for a very comfortable place to come back to after spending all day exploring the area or swimming at the beach. We made dinner at the home every night, so we were happy that the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We didn't use the grill, but appreciated that it was there, and we enjoyed having two outdoor seating areas. It is just a short walk to the "main" street in Empire, a two minute ride to Empire Beach (LOVED having the parking pass provided), and barely a five minute drive to the Dune Climb and the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. We will be back, and we will certainly try to book this place again.

we have stayed here several times and it never disappointments. Always super clean, owner is easy to reach. Always plenty of deer to watch, air conditioned and very comfortable. Great for all ages, one bathroom on each floor lots of room for puzzles/games and hanging out. We will be back

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great to walk to downtown empire or drive to nearby beaches. The house was a good size for families. Would definite stay here again.

Always clean comfortable home. Provides us big eating and gathering space for family time and dinner. While the neighborhood is super cute it is very quite as well and very close to town and beach

If you're looking for the ideal location to set up camp for your adventures at Sleeping Bear and surrounding area, you found it. Empire is incredibly charming, very walkable, and in the middle of all the action - yet the house is a quiet and peaceful respite from busy days exploring the area. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms gave my family plenty of space to spread out. There were lots of thoughtful touches like night lights around the home. We took advantage of the parking pass for Empire Beach, which made the day so much more relaxing. Plus there are a ton of toys and items to choose from that you can take down to the beach with you. There are so many locations nearby to watch beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets, too! It was great to have the washer and dryer so we could pack light. We would definitely stay here again!

This house seemed much more spacious inside than it appeared in the photos or from the road when we arrived. It was very clean which is one of our top priorities when we travel. With a family of five, we had plenty of room to spread out. There is lots of storage space in the bedroom closets which was a huge help to us. The location is perfect. Empire is a beautiful town, and the beach and playground nearby were great for kids. We would love to rent this house again in the future! I can't think of anything negative other than having towels and linens provided with COVID restrictions being eased would definitely make packing easier next time!

The property is located in a quiet place but close to restaurant, nationalpark and beach. The best was the specious garage. Yard - front and back - offers privacy and space for activity. Deer might swing by for a short visit. The house itself is well equipped (specially the kitchen) has lots of space and two very clean and up to date bathrooms. Overall an excellent place for family vacation The host is very helpful, friendly, fast in answering questions.... We didn't miss anything

Excellent location, well appointed kitchen, immaculate property inside and out, and lovely owners! Empire owns our hearts.

The house and yard were nicer than I expected. The large kitchen/dining room/living room area was great for family congregating. We used the grill and the picnic tables out back. Our 4 year old and watching adults used the yard quite a bit. We liked being able to put our car in the garage. We didn't use the beach toys in the garage (we brought our own), but there was a nice collection. It was convenient to have two bathrooms for showering - one up, and one down. Having a washer and dryer was wonderful for this beach/hiking vacation. Martina was wonderfully responsive and helpful. Great stay!
