It was a fun place with lots to do for the kids. Not far from hiking spots and the national park and caverns. Plenty of room for 8 of us. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the mattresses.

It's a very nice property with great views. The house is well kept and there are fun things to do in the house as well as outside. The drive up the hill is quite something the first time!

The home is beautiful! We found the property to be very clean, comfortable and enjoyable. Communication with the owners was prompt and courteous on several occasions. The views from most windows and all decks was just breathtaking! We'll definitely be visiting again!

Big house with beautiful views of the slopes and mountains. Enough space for our family to relax and not feel crowded. The contract sent after the final payment was made was intimidating however the owners were excellent to work with. We really enjoyed our stay.

This home was clean, well laid out with lots of seating and dining options. The view is beautiful but the driveway was extremely steep. The home is located on a very steep hill and is a challenge to drive to but is worth the view.

We stayed to celebrate my son's 14th birthday and we had a wonderful time. Lots to do in Massanutten and Harrisonburg. The house is literally on top of a mountain, can't beat the views. It would be a little tricky to drive to in the winter as the road to the house is extremely steep. But the house makes up for it. Lots of games, pool table, ping pong, arcade games. And the fireplace is gorgeous. Will definitely be back to stay here.

This house was absolutely perfect for our senior class trip. The advertisements were 100% accurate. The views were amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time. The driveway was indeed very steep.

We had a family of 9 and there was plenty of room in the home for all of us. The downstairs areas with the pool table and ping pong table were a great area for us to congregate and hang out for our 4 days there. The great room was also big enough that we could all hang out together. It’s a great area- we saw quite a few deer and it’s close to everything in Massanutten A few things you need to know when you rent this home: - the driveway is VERY steep- I has to use my 4 wheel drive - if you are staying there more than 2 days you need to bring TP and paper towels- we had to hit to the market twice.

We had a family ski weekend at this house and loved the home, the location, and views! We would certainly rent here again!!

This is an amazing house! It’s is well taken care of & very clean. Owner was fantastic with weather conditions & keeping my family safe, so we could do all our activities planned for the weekend. My grandchildren loved the Christmas tree & looking out at the skiers on the slopes behind the house, views are breathtaking! Great for large families, six adults & five children, so comfy!

This is a great house on the edge of a cliff. The views were great. There was a lot to do in the house including a pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table. The only issue was that the hot tub was broken. It was a relatively small factor but given how expensive the house is, you want everything to work.

This home was perfect for our family visit. I love the multi level deck with a great view and a hot tub!

The house is beautiful and looks just as it does in the pictures. Everything is also very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The pool table and hot tub were particular highlights of the trip!

Large house with lots of bedrooms. Pool table, ping pong, and fosball in the basement. PlayStation with lots of games. Also with a great hot tub. Although we stayed in the summer, I would be cautious if renting in the winter. The hill leading to the house is not likely passable in the snow. There are stairs at the bottom of the hill and one parking spot if unable to make it up the driveway. Lots of stuff to do in the area as well as the resort with enough to keep you busy for more than a week!

We never did rented a house before on the mountains. It was a great experience And property was so clean and quiet. We were so pleased with the location, it was peaceful. Couple of small issues with sink drain and flush handle on the toilet but overall it was awesome. We will be back next year!!!

This was our second stay at this house and it does not disappoint. The owner is very thoughtful and checked on us after we checked in to make certain all was going well. The house is very well stocked to meet all of your needs and has every amenity that you will need for a long weekend getaway to an extended vacation. The views are spectacular and if you haven't seen the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley then this house is the place to be for that!

House was exactly as pictured and described. Owners were responsive and attentive. We had a wonderful time.

We loved the property, especially because we got snow while we were there and could go sledding in lieu of skiing. It was a great winter vacation. My only minor suggestion would be to post a notice or warning in the listing about how steep the driveway is. By the end of the stay I was an expert at driving up and down it. But I was actively alarmed when I first saw it, and our family was very grateful that I called to warn them. A fantastic time all told!

Great place to stay as is so close to many activities both educational, historical and ones in nature/outdoors. Having the resort options added to family activities. The house had great spaces for family members to have private time besides great room fir family of 12 to visit.

We enjoyed our stay and thought the cabin was very nice. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and the check in was easy.

We had a family of 11 staying here, from grandparents to young children. It was the perfect fit for everybody. The children loved playing all of the games that were provided, the adults loved playing pool, ping pong and sitting out on the wide spread deck. There was enough space for all of us to eat around the kitchen table, there was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone also had their own private space. The resort itself had many things for all of us to do even during the pandemic. The homeowners made it known that they were available at any time if needed. The house had everything we needed for our family of 11 to cook, including plenty of plates and utensils. After reading the reviews about the steep driveway, we did not think it was that bad. You are staying on a mountain and it would be expected. The home exceeded our expectations we are already looking forward to making a return trip.

I found this place to surprise my fiancé and our friends for 4th of July. THEY LOVED IT!! The house is huge and seats our group of 12. The view really was gorgeous. We get to see a front row on fireworks. The hosts, Kimberly and Ken were so helpful with our stay. They made sure everything was at our convenience. Everything was so clean and spotless. They even made a checklist for us to follow before checking out so we won't have to pay extra fees. I would definitely take my parents out here in the future. They would love it.

Very nice house with great views and great game room. We had some frustrations trying to cook effectively for 11 people, as the house is in need of some larger pots and frying pans. But otherwise, a lovely stay.
