The property had a beautiful view and was close to stores and restaurants. There was plenty of room for the family to hang out. The heat beds and hot tub were nice. It was a relaxing vacation.

Dog hair covers most of the broken down furniture. Toilet was not clean. Bathroom has carpet on floor (yuck) the only place smells like a skunk. Hot water in shower is hit and miss we both ended up with a cold shower during our stay. Hot tub water was dirty. I asked for it to be drain/fill. That was done over 4 days but water never heated up. Owner stated Hot tub was too much trouble. We stayed there because of the hot tub.

Everything was easy! The property is spacious and fully stocked with more then expected and centrally located. The beds were very comfortable and heated! We enjoyed the hot tub and the expansive deck. Ray, your hospitality and kindness is amazing. Say hi to Max snd Molly!

Our stay was lovely. The porch is magic and the rooms comfortable. Easy drive to get to Boone and the Art of Living Retreat Center. Kitchen had all of the convenience items we needed and although we didn’t cook, it would have been easy to do so in that space. Recommend highly.

We enjoyed our stay . The bed was comfortable, the shower head was great with good water flow and hot water. It was close to town. We saw deer even with having a dog. We would stay again if we come back to Boone. Our host Ray was available to answer any questions we may have had.

If you go, you could not ask for nicer people. Karen and Ray are lovely people with 2 Golden Retrievers named Max and Molly who are very loving. I wasn't prepared for all the stairs because they were not in the picture but you will get used to them.

We loved staying here! It was exactly what we were wanting for our vacation. Ray was very nice and showed us around upon arrival! It was comforting to know there was someone else on the property with us!! We will most likely stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful very clean and has a wonderful home feel. Ray And Karen were very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We definitely enjoyed our stay. And enjoyed max and Molly. We will be back !

I would recommend this home. The 2 bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Den, kitchen and tv area are large.Compared to 5 star homes we stayed in I would say this home is a upper 3 star only due to home being dated.

Wonderful location, surprised at how nice the amenities were for the price. Right near everything in Boone!

We loved our stay here! Great location for going skiing (we went to App Ski Mtn), but would be good for just hanging out too. House is in a nice location, but less than a 10 minutes drive from all the stores/restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a very nice hot tub. The hosts are super helpful and nice, and the kids adored playing in the snow with the two dogs. Highly recommend!

Great location., clean and they provide lots of little things that make the stay that much nicer. Lots of space, comfy beds, nice grill and coffee bar, plenty of clean towels and so much more that just make this the best place. Oh and our lab is always welcome and great closed off deck space to keep the dog.

It's exactly how the pictures look, the bedrooms have heated electric blankets, it's only five minutes from Tweetsie Railroad and about seven minutes from any given grocery store, and it was super cheap to rent! The owner has two dogs (I believe they were golden retrievers) that seem to come and go from their garage as they please, but they're SUPER friendly and won't even growl at you. If they bark at you, don't worry, they're just excited-they came to meet us on the first day and welcomed us back the second! The views, despite all the trees, is amazing, and on the morning of our last day we actually saw a few deer a couple yards away from the place. Honestly was surprised given how close to town we were! 100% recommend this to anyone and everyone :)

We decided to go to Boone last minute for our honeymoon. I’m so glad we did . We had the best time , amazing view totally privacy . Overall we had a blast definitely will be staying again!
