Beach access is great! We had a few hiccups and Nancy was quick to respond. House is just as pictured and described .

Owner only responded to one of 6 texts, calls, and emails. Took 2 days for owner to respond with correct wifi password - password in instructions sent by owner is incorrect. We never received a response regarding pool lights or extra keys to the home for additional guests. However, Nancy proceeded to blow my phone up once she felt the check out condition of home was not to her liking. I was told that I need to “speak to my children and guests about how to treat her home”. My 12 year old daughter scooted bunk beds together and my mom used a bike in an UNLOCKED storage area that had no indication that it was Nancy’s “personal” storage as bikes and chairs were covered in dirt and cobwebs. We initially entered the storage trying to find the pool light switch. She also complained that the outside trash was not removed - there was trash in it upon arrival. The owner also complained was that there were “tags” on the floor. These complaints cost me $348. I’ve never ever had a VRBO owner complaint after years of renting. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS OWNER! I’m certain she uses frivolous complaints to avoid personally paying cleaning fees. Many better choices in the area.

It was great. Since we had 4 double red flag days, the pool was a lifesaver for entertaining the kids.

The house was very nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach and had parking for three vehicles. Every family group had their own floor. Amazing layout for a large family. The host, Nancy, was very accommodating and friendly to work with.

We had a great time at Toulouse Mongoose with our daughters and their families. House is fantastic and Nancy is a pleasure to communicate with. The location can’t be beat with a very short walk to the beautiful beach and a great pool to enjoy at the house. Will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful week. The house was very walkable to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Great pool, lots of floats and beach towels. Third floor bedroom had a window unit that made noise dripping on the outside.

This was the most amazing beach house that we have stayed in since we have been coming to Grayton Beach. We will absolutely be staying again. Thank you so much for a wonderful family experience!

House was fantastic! Everything we needed for a clean, comfortable stay! Very close to the beach boardwalk and local shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed rocking away on the porch with the night sea breeze after a day spent on the beautiful emerald coast! The kids and adults alike enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool after a sun filled day on the beach. House was very well furnished with everything you need for the stay. Spacious accommodations for 3 families! We loved Toulouse Mongoose and will definitely be back!

This is a great house, in a great location. About a 10 minute walk to the beach, with great access to it, from different locations, one in the front and one in the back of the house. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs and an umbrella for the beach with a wagon to pull them all in. Nancy was great with any questions before and after our visit. Very nice pool, which was great for the little ones that needed a break from the beach. The little hidden nook was also great. My 7 yo granddaughter loved it and used it often! I loved it myself and wished I could have spent more time in it too. Rocking chairs and swing on the from porch was great for morning coffee and just relaxing. I would highly recommend it for a large family visiting Grayton Beach, and will definitely book it again.

The property was exactly as listed. We usually stay in seaside and we were pleasantly surprised. We are close enough to drive or bike to seaside since seaside is only 1.9 miles from the property. It was super close to the beach and near other shopping and restaurants. The home was clean and stocked with all things necessary like kitchen cooking stuff, games for all ages, ceramic grill for grilling, coolers, and beach towels. The little kids nook was a big hit! The Owners are very hands on and super responsive. I gave it 4 stores because the downstairs bedroom only had a queen bed and was very hard. Also-other negative the beach is a public beach and Doesn’t offer beach service. The chairs, which were only 5, were small and didn’t offer great support and almost collapsed when sitting in them. We had to buy our own which also meant hauling these down in addition to everything else! Overall wonderful experience!

We have stayed in numerous areas along 30A, and Toulouse Mongoose/Grayton Beach are now our absolute favorite! Nancy was wonderful to work with, the beautiful home is stocked with everything you need and so spacious, and the heated pool was amazing (and where we spent most of our time). Our teen girls enjoyed daily bike rides to Seaside, which was only about 10-15 minutes for them and so much easier than driving and parking there! We especially loved the quiet and uncrowded street, the easy walk to the beach access/Red Bar/Chiringo/Hotz Coffee Shop, and the views of the ocean from the porch were an unexpected treat. Thank you for opening your home to us for the perfect Spring Break family getaway! We can’t wait to return!

Toulouse Mongoose is an excellent home to stay in! The pool is great and has plenty of space for family! The home has tons of character, is well stocked, and is close to the beach! The location is easily walkable and close to the restaurants and shops as well. The owner is easily accessible and prompt with communication! If you’re thinking about booking in Grayton, you can’t go wrong with this one!

Very comfortable & clean house. All beds had comfortable mattresses. The pool was the icing on the cake for the grandkids. Short walk to the beach & a beach wagon provided to make it easier to pack. The house had a lot of charm. We are booking for the same time next year. Nancy was very quick to respond to anything we asked.

Toulouse Mongoose (and Nancy!) provided our family with an exceptional vacation experience. Nancy was responsive and communicated clearly and in a timely manner. The property was exceptionally clean and well suited for our 2 daughters' families (+hubands + 6 grandchildren ages 6-14), and my wife and I. The pool was great, and the kids loved the "book nook." Nancy anticipated many of our needs. The beach is "the best!" Many thanks for the memories made!

This property is lovely and was perfect for our family of nine, 6 adults and three children. It is roomy, warm and cozy and very nicely decorated. It has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. If we were not at the beach, just steps away, we were splashing in the beautiful inground pool. The kids, 12, 6 and 4, were in heaven. I would absolutely recommend this beach house and Grayton Beach. The small town is charming and the restaurants we visited (all walkable) were all excellent. The host, Nancy, is easy and wonderful to work with. We had the best time ever! Many happy memories. We will definitely rent this house again when vacationing in Grayton Beach.

Loved Toulouse Mongoose! Beautiful view from the porch, well supplied kitchen, unique and special interiors and loved the house layout. We had 8 60 year old high school friends and everybody had good personal space. We enjoyed the pool and of course what's not to love about Grayton!

Grayton Beach is a great choice for people looking for fewer crowds and the section closest to the state park (where this rental is located) is really nice. The owner was very responsive throughout our stay and we had a really good time.

Enjoyed the house and the proximity to the beach, state parks and outdoor activities (biking, kayaking).

Property was lovely. We did not get to enjoy most of the amenities due to the storm/weather. Unfortunately, the pool was unusable on the one day conducive to using it.

Our group had 4 adults and 5 kiddos (ages newborn to 9) and we loved every minute of our vacation at the Touloose Mongoose! The house is beautifully decorated and very accommodating to families with little kiddos. The property was close enough to the beach to make the frequent back-and-forth trips easy to do. The highlights of our trip were paddleboarding and crab-hunting at the lagoon just down the beach. We hope to be back soon!

It was the perfect choice for a girls retreat at the beach. Comfortable, private bedrooms, a spacious central kitchen, large private pool and a short stroll to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and a cool, laid-back vibe made it the ideal choice for a relaxing beach getaway. We also rode bikes, practiced yoga, ate at the amazing local restaurants, watched the sun set on a perfect beach and even tried our hand at stand up paddle boarding. A great balance of relaxation and adventure.

We have been coming to Grayton Beach for 10+ years and are so happy we discovered Toulouse Mongoose several years ago. For our group, 3 families consisting of 6 Adults and 6 Children, it could not be a better fit. Between the large kitchen, great porches, well-laid out bedroms and the wonderful private pool, Toulouse Mongoose provides everything one needs to enjoy the laid-back vibe of Grayton Beach. Further, Toulouse Mongoose is located in a quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic and is a 3-minute walk to the wide, uncrowded beach and a quick bike ride to the Red Bar. Thank you Nancy & Dee for continuing to make it easy summer after summer to enjoy the best beach town on 30A!

The Toulouse Mongoose is an amazing house with an awesome location and pool! The white sand beach and clear blue water is a short walk from the Mongoose! The owners , Nancy & Dee, were terrific from start to finish! I highly recommend Grayton Beach and this house in particular.

Our family vacation in Grayton Beach was great as expected! Such a beautiful area and we love riding bikes up and down 30A; even grandma and grandpa joined in! There is much to do for all ages and interests. Our stay at the Toulouse Mongoose worked out well! We especially enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the beach!
