I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home. An absolute 6 out of 5! We stayed for two weeks over Christmas and were so impressed with the home, the area and the service. Henry answered all my questions and emails promptly; not an easy feat over the Christmas holidays! It was wonderful to have all the extras; lots of cooking utensils and spices/condiments in the kitchen (we ate in most nights, which included Christmas Dinner!). There was an abundance of basic toiletries not to mention access to a washer and dryer (a must have with a two-year old!). Henry had advised us that “down town” Verrado was within walking distance of the home some– I can absolutely attest this is true (I have an over-active, curious 2 year – I do not lie about distance!). We walked down Main Street every morning to the local Coffee Shop and every night to see the light display – it was like the scene out of a movie, so beautiful at Christmas. We rarely had to use our vehicle while in Verrado, there is a grocery store, a pharmacy and 2 amazing restaurants right on Main Street! We had such a diverse group of ages and holiday expectations that I thought it would be near impossible to accommodate everyone, but this home worked so well. For the ones that wanted to hang around home, there was the beautiful Raven Golf Course, 11 miles of walking/biking trails (we loved that Henry left us access to Mountain Bikes in the garage) an outside grill, hot tub and one of my favorite features pool/ping pong table. For us shoppers the Tanger Outlet Mall was only a 20-25 minute drive from the home and Sports fans, 20-25 minutes to the Coyote game and 35-40 minutes downtown to the Sun’s game! My two year old was the youngest and we were pleasantly surprised to find numerous parks and green spaces for him to play in, not to mention the access to the Rec Center (a wonderful added bonus that is included) which has an outdoor heated pool and splash park (again even if us Canadians were the only ones in it in December!). And I must add – I know we are not in Arizona to watch TV, but it was so nice for my son to have access to kid friendly movies and games to wind down with at night! This home more than exceeded our expectations and impressed some of the harshest critics in our party, it is not a matter of if we will be back, it is when! Thank you Henry!

No complaints about this home - well kept up and very well stocked for a rental. Nice area, rental car is a must, haha!

This is a beautiful home, that is very well cared for. It has all the amenities of home and extra. We enjoyed playing pool, riding the bikes and relaxing in the hot tub! We will visit again!

Our stay at Henry's house in Verrado, Buckeye was simply outstanding. The escape from Alberta winter for the month of March could not have been better. Every day was the same, temperatures in the mid 80's F and nothing but sunshine. Lots to do in the Phoenix area, We played golf, watched a few professional baseball games, visited with friends and family, toured the city and just sat in the sun in the backyard. The house is very nice. It is a comfortable size with ceiling fans in every room. The hot tub in the backyard was used everyday. If you want a great vacation, give this home owner a call. We rented this home over the Christmas break to get away from our cold climate home. We were thrilled with the house and the amenities. The owner provided great information about the house and the surrounding area. We enjoyed walking downtown and swimming in the community pool. We were often the only people in the pool and someone swam with our six year old everyday. We enjoyed a Cardinals game and used the driving range at the Raven Golf Course. If you are planning on doing any shopping, etc you will definitely need a car. The owner was available by phone or email and was very willing to answer any questions we had. Overall my family had a great holiday in a beautiful home. The pictures here don't do the home justice.

The pictures do no do this place justice! Huge master suite, and 3 other large bedrooms. Ground level has pool table room and 2 separate TV/sitting areas. Kitchen is nice sized and open to sitting area. Private hot tub, grill, fridge, and sitting area in backyard with mountain backdrop. The owner has mountain bikes in the garage ready for use in the trails. The house is loaded with all small things (spices, soaps, towels, ect.). The owner was also available to answer any questions we had which made for a smooth transaction and vacation. One last bonus is access to the community pools and weight room. One pool is the exact size of your standard high school pool (6 lanes x 25 yards) and another kiddie style pool. Weight room is a legit weight room you'd see at a top notch club, not your typical hotel "exercise room". Great time!

Great place to stay while visiting the Phoenix area. We drove to Sedona one day and Scottsdale another. It is an easy walk to supermarket, restaurants, golf course and trails. House is fully equipped with everything you could need! Owner, Henry, was very quick to respond to any and all communication. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, home away from home! All photographs are accurate. Highly recommend this property.

5 adults stayed her for 1 week Aug 31 to Sept 7. The house was large and clean and had all amenities. Verrado is a beautiful community. Nice private back yard. We enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. We did not use the hot tub because it was really hot all week. The community pool was nice, had a lane pool and a swimming pool and a splash pad for kids. Was only 30 minutes to the MBL stadium Chase Field. We went to 3 Blue Jay games. The grocery store that is within 5 minutes walk is a good grocery store Bashas- with the Thank you card the prices were good and it was convenient. We really did not eat out much as we cooked on the BBQ most evenings. It was really nice and convenient that I could hook up my laptop to the printer. The house was stocked with tiolet paper and paper towels, and shampoo and cream rinse. We did not have to buy any. Lots of shopping within 20 to 30 minutes away. We also drove to Grand Canyon - it was about 3 1/2 hour drive, but it was worth it. It is an easy straight run on the I-10 to Phoenix. We found all the people really nice and friendly. The owner was helpful answering any questions and was flexible - let us check out later as no one was checking in that day. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Phoenix or surrounding area. If we ever go back to Phoenix we would difintely stay here again.

my wife and i stayed in the slama's home for 3 months to get away from the cold nebraska winter. we had a great stay. the home, with 4 bedrooms, was just right for us when the kids and grandkids came for a visit. the house if very modern and clean. the appliances were very good except the dishwasher did not work well at all (owner was informed and hopefully will take care of that problem) the furniture was comfortable with 2 big tv's (only wish there was one in the master bedroom) master bedroom was large with very nice master bath and walk in closet. we loved the back patio, with the built in grill & small refrig, hot tub and dining table for 6. the location was perfect for me (a so-called golfer) as it was just a short walk to the raven golf course and practice facility (which a non-member can use anytime by just purchasing a $10 bag of practice balls) the driving range is excellent and huge, so u can actually hit off grass most of the time. the 3 close resturants were excellent, especially the verrado grill (happy hour) and the wine/pizzaria downtown. we used the workout facility a lot and the pool a few times (they have changed the rules on renters usage, so make sure you understand those new rules) all in all, a very good stay, and we would rent this house again..
