Beautiful place, comfortable rooms, welcoming for cyclists, kind hosts
Not a huge choice of places to eat nearby (but where we went - 6ieme Sens highly recommended for imaginative vegetarian food) Wi-Fi patchy

The breakfast was very good served in a lovely dining room. The chateau has been in the family for 200 years and one of the circular stone staircases dates back to 1412.
The bedroom could be updated and we needed an extra blanket. We were traveling by bicycle and it should be noted that the Chateau is a couple of miles past Pont Saint-Esprit. Unfortunately no restaurants were open the evening we were there and we ended up riding back into town to a grocery store for takeout.

Parking was ok. Sealed garden was good for dog but very muddy and no seating.
Next to railway line. In need of refurbishment and updating.shower room on different floor.no wifi. No seats in garden. No comfortable seats inside. Not very clean. Very overpriced. See photo of railway line from bedroom, floors chairs etc.

We had to do a detour to reach this place during our bike trip on the Via Rhôna, but it was worth the effort. It is a beatiful old building with an as well beautiful garden including a swimming pool. The host recommended some nearby restaurants for diner and offered a good breakfast in the garden of the house. We could park all our bikes safely in a garage.

1) also there is a swimming pool, the owner do not provide any towels for the swimming pool and forbid to use the bath towel for the swimming pool
2) there is no air conditioning, it is very hot and therefore you have to open the window but the room was in front of a railway and there were many transport train during the all night

Beautiful chateau with a nice atmosphere and a great garden. The breakfast in the garden was delicious and we liked the fact they used home made jams and a home made pudding.

After an excruciatingly hot day, and a slightly terrifying bike ride to reach this chateau, the sheer beauty of the place was a delight.
Well, if the city built bike lanes no one would complain.

The home and property is beautiful and the owners were so lovely and welcoming. I rented one of the small apartments for two nights. Very comfortable with a private yard. I had morning coffee out in the yard with the family’s cat. I really enjoyed my stay, and went to a couple villages that were recommended by the owner on my way out of town.

Breakfast had many options - even homemade cake, yummy and just perfect, wonderfully located in the court on a windy day and absolutely stunning on the terrace overlooking the orchards and the pool. Our gîte in one of the aisles of the castle was of a perfect size for the 5 of us, well equipped and even had a little patio with outside furniture. Separated from the main domain we loved the privacy as a family but were still able to take in the brilliant landscape, architecture and pool of this adorable gîte. Saint-Martin and Aiguèze are each an easy 10 minute drive away and are wonderful spots for sightseeing, canoeing, sightseeing and restaurants.

Instantly welcoming and relaxing . History everywhere . Tranquil views to Mont Ventoux over orchards and vineyards . After a hot day’s cycle the cool refreshing pool was very welcome . We enjoyed conversations in French and English and discovering the history of this beautiful old home . Great secure cycle storage . Delicious breakfast especially the home made jam.

Top view. The building breaths history and nostalgia. Going back in time with customized comfort. Visit nearby the town of Aiguezé and ask the land lady to order diner in restaurant Le Bouchon. You won’t regret your visit.

We loved our stay at the Domaine de Lamartine, a very quaint and picturesque historical mansion with a magnificent garden.
We enjoyed everything: the warm welcome by the owners, the home-made fruit preserves for breakfast, the chats with about local traditions, the swimming pool of course.
It's a great treat and a pleasure to stay in such a quaint place and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
