Where do I begin...the property is in major need of upgrades/improvements/cleaning. While all the appliances worked ok, they were in below average condition. The oven door didn't close properly; the refrigerator had rust in places and was missing drawer covers. Washer and dryer also contained rust. Dishwasher was in below average condition. Cleanliness of the property was poor. Dust was present on most if not all furniture. The heater vents were caked with dust. The mattresses on the beds were sagging and the quality of the bedding was poor. The garage door weather stripping was falling apart. I realize that the environment makes it challenging to keep appliances and the overall property looking pristine but it's obvious that it is not maintained properly. I don't like to "slam" a property with a poor review as I know it is difficult to please everyone, but I cannot recommend this property to anyone in its present condition. Thank you.

After about 90 minutes of digging out the driveway we were able to move into the over 20 years of renting bayshore vacation homes, I have never had to dig my way in. Overall, the house was satisfactory considering the lower rental cost.

Plenty of brooms and a vacuum to use to help keep the sand outside. The master suite is quite lovely; however, the other bathroom is well used.

We had a wonderful time on the beach in the blustery, September weather! The house was well stocked and comfortable. There was a fun selection of games and movies, sand toys and kites in the garage, and beach chairs on the back patio. The views were amazing. We highly recommend this location for sand and surf loving families!

Loved everything about the place.

The location was good and good views. We love the layout of the home. It had plenty of seating with beautiful views. However, I gave cleanliness a 2 stars. The garage smelled heavily of mold. There was dog poop in the yard (both front and back). The doors and trim are in great need of paint. Greasy child hand prints on the windows. The shower in the master bathroom leaks and had to keep a towel on the floor. Windowsills had sand in and all around it and sand in the corners in the bathroom. Now I realize this house is in the dunes and sand naturally will come in the house. But I would think they would vaccume it up in between guests. At this time I would not recommend this home. They could use some more wash clothes as there were only 4 of them and there were 6 of us.

We enjoyed the main living area, plenty of seating, great ocean/beach views, kitchen with almost everything you need, beach chairs, BBQ (gas & charcoal!), lots of movies & games. No way to be bored. Main bedroom very spacious, the other two, not so much; room for the bed and dresser/tv stand & that's about it (a roll-away will only fit in main room or out in living room - this was our main disappointment, traveling with children & parents). Deep sand on the tiny aggregate cement back porch is inevitable, but could easily have been removed by someone other than this paying guest. A solid 15-20 min drive from Newport is great for getting away from it all yet close enough for an in-town excursion, and close to several State beach parks (although this huge beach should satisfy). Clean and well-supplied; linens, towels, basics all here. It's not the Ritz but we were looking for comfort, not luxury. This place is it.

We loved the location and ease and privacy of the beach. Something’s could have been cleaner, the fridge and freezer had stuff and the hall bathroom shower had hair in the tub. Otherwise the place was decent and we all slept pretty good. We would recommend this place to friends with a few disclaimers. We understand the wear the salty sea water does to houses so the rust wasn’t a problem. Just the nature of the location.

There's lots of sand between the house and the water so lots of walking. There is sand everywhere cause the house is in the dunes. We found sea shells and saw seals everyday.

Location on a sand dune gave us the best coastal view we have seen,, but the sand filled steep driveway was difficult for the cars and people (all over 80) to negotiate resulting in one fall (not serious). We tried shoveling , but it only helped temporarily, Suggest that owner have driveway cleared right before a visit.

We had a very enjoyable week in the home..Very homey and comfortable. It was a little farther back from the beach than we thought from the listing, but views were great. The bathroom configuration was a little odd, but we worked it out. Katie from the office was extremely helpful and friendly each time I spoke to her. All in all it was a great week.

Property was a sand dune, therefore inside the house was also sandy. Interesting to say the least. Would not recommend the property to anyone. Another interesting thing. I called Vrbo about an issue and was told they had no information on my reservation. I found the property through Vrbo! Lesson learned.

Overall great place and would stay here again. Cons: The shower has been replaced, sloppy work, but there’s no crack in the tub. The sliding door needs to be replaced and fixed. Some sand and water come in around the frame and it’s starting to rot. It closes and locks. Pros: kitchen is well stocked, lots of space, views, beach and location are amazing. I would recommend this place, just needs some typical repairs.

We loved being able to step out the door right onto the sand. Beautiful view. We spotted seals near the shore every day. We had a great dinner at Luna Sea in Seal Rock. We weren't able to get the car into the garage because a bath tub was in the way, but other than that, all was as expected!

Perfect size home for our family of five. Description was accurate and home was well appointed (actually better appointed than description). Location is perfect! Walk right out to the beach/ocean. The collection of movies and games was AMAZING! We could have stayed a week and it wouldn't have been long enough to watch all the movies we had on queue! Instruction and description of home are accurate. Check in, check out process easy. Great communication with property management prior to stay. I would recommend this home to a friend and I would stay here again. Thank you for a much needed family weekend.

WE HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO - WOULD LIKE THE OWNER TO HAVE A LOOK AT AND FIX SOME OF THE BROKEN STUFF

Good beach house. Was foggy most of the time, but walk to beach was direct from home. Our dog loved it!

Master bath shower could not be used, due to flooding the bathroom floor. Second bath had a patch over a crack in the bathtub so that could not be used either. There were the most major issues. We were given a partial credit for our inconveniences.

This was an incredible place to stay and enjoy the beach, ocean, and we didn't even get to experience the bach club attached to the reservation, we will definitly be back! But for Longer than 4 days.

Location a five star plus. Property condition a 2. Most of the smoke detectors not functioning. On check in the floors were filthy and rugs covered with dog hair. Beds full of sand. The vacuum was so clogged with dirt and sand it was not usable. The BBQ was caked with grease and unusable. The property managers provided a new BBQ and a new vacuum. We cleaned the floors and got two vac canisters full of dirt. The guest tub/shower needs refinishing and the primary bathroom shower pours water onto the floor. A shame that a house in such an amazing location suffers from such poor upkeep.
