First we emailed the property managers on at least 3 occasions prior to our arrival to get updates on some issues we read through reviews, regarding the Wi-Fi and fees. We did not receive any responses at all.
Upon arrival we had to completely clean this place. The bathtubs and showers were filthy- there is dust everywhere- on the walls and ceiling fans. The grill was dilapidated and unusable. Not sure what the fees are for because you are required to bring sheets, towels. toilet paper, paper towels dish soap and anything else besides the bed you can think of. We don’t believe they use a cleaning service and if they do they should get a new one. Overall this place left much to be desired and we would not rent this unit again. Spend a couple more bucks and book a different unit. This place could really use a deep clean. We left feeling stuffy and concerned about the airflow.
The house was not COVID clean! Bathroom’s were not cleaned. Bathtubs all looked like they had never been cleaned. I had to scrub them with a brush and still didn’t get them clean enough to bath in. Wore my flip flops while showering. Some of the towel bars were missing in the bathrooms.
OMG the stove!!!! Appeared as though it had NEVER been cleaned!!! The place is a lot cleaner now that we were there.

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful spacious home. We did feel the shuttle wait time was extensive and had not experienced this is passed years. That was the only draw back. Will stay again!

The place was very nice. In the master bathroom the water dripped in the tub day & night. The worst was you tried to adjust the water to shower and all you got was hot water the cold water wasn't working. Some of the outlets didn't work and loose outlets where the plug fell out. The hitches on some of your cabinets need repair. These are repairs that should be checked. Kitchen was will stock. My grandchildren loved the game room. We enjoyed the area.

Location and property was great for our golf trip. WiFi was non existent but didn’t impact our stay as we were all happy to unplug. Cable did not work but in all fairness we did not call the property manager to report it as it wasn’t very impactful negatively to our stay. Would definitely rent again for our golf trip.

Nice but....
Location was great. Beach shuttle ran often and pool was nice. Basement with pool table, Foosball and TV was amazing. Beyond that, not so great. Plenty of "utensils " but actual cookware was awful. Not a sharp knife to be found, or scissors, microwave that needed circuit breaker reset after every use. Only cookie sheet was under cleaning supplies. Showers with only hot water that all drip all day. Surfaces clean, but don't look up at ceiling fans or bathroom fans.

Disadvantages of staying at Bear Trap
1. House cleaners came after we checked in 5P and all of our things/baggage/food etc were in the way. How could they clean?
2. Shuttle came at 12noon each day. Had to drive to beach- 15 minutes away, plus parking was a bear!
3. Pool table too big for room, Could not play.
4. King bed was CA King and sheets did not fit
5. Golfers took up all parking spaces near condo. Stated they could park anywhere because they were MEMBERS. One space
dedicated in drive way.
6. WIFI almost non-existent and cell service very poor. Had to go outside in front of condo to make/receive phone calls.
7. Lamp in my bedroom nonfunctional, only had overhead on ceiling.
Unless you are a golfing family, choose another condo. We will not recommend or ever stay there again.

Wonderful Place / Horrible Weather
The place was all we expected it to be. Plenty of room, appliances worked and we ordered sheets for the beds and they were made. Thank God for the entertainment area. The weather for the week was rain, gale force winds, closed beaches and no sun. We made do with the situation we were dealt. Ron

Place is confident but can be cleaner
The set up is nice and rooms are spread apart if you have multiple family with kids. You don’t hear in the next room. There was mold in one of the bathrooms around the tub and in the ac vents. A funny smell was coming though the ducks down stairs. The back porch shrubs were over grown to eat outside. Needs a real cleaning and a fresh coat of paint couldn’t hurt plus new mattresses.

Good experience overall
Bathrooms could have been cleaned a little better and WiFi service was spotty. We knew this going into it as there were other comments about the WiFi. We didn’t receive a key to open and lock the back door and garage door. This became an inconvenience when we had to park the cars In the back of the property as we had to walk around the entire condo to get to the front door to use the keyless entry. A few times we had to do this in heavy rain. Also, when using the upstairs bathroom faucets the cold water was hot or warm for several minutes until it cooled off. I learned that the hard way when brushing my teeth. Management responded quickly and sent a repair person to fix it but it only helped a little bit and needs to be looked at again.
On the positive side it was a nice property in a nice neighborhood and we liked that there was a pool table and foosball table in the lower level. We had 8 people with us and the fact that there was 4 bathrooms was very convenient. Property location was super convenient to get to grocery stores, drug stores, the beach and restaurants within minutes. Overall it was a good stay.

Great house for a Delaware/OC golf trip - shares a parking lot with Bear Trap Dunes clubhouse and a short drive to several other courses. Game room was fun and plenty of sleeping room for a large group.

Spacious Escape
Great amenities and space for our family of 4 plus Grandma. The pavilion pool was a good activity during the rainy days during our stay. Everyone had their own bathroom and sleeping quarters. However the master bedroom’s shower hot water did not work. Hot water was in every other bathroom. It was a great place to stay close to the beach.

Spring Getaway
Property was as described and pictured. Basement with pool table and foosball table were what drew us to this property and were invaluable during our stay. Steve was very friendly and great to work with. There were a few hiccups with the smart lock and microwave but both were taken care of during our stay. Only recommendation I have is to try to fit another couch or two comfy chairs in the main level family room. Although the basement has two large reclining sofas, the house sleeps at least ten comfortably but only sits three comfortably in the main level family room. The kitchen table and breakfast area are attached to the living area and have several chairs, but they are really not comfortable to relax and watch a movie in the evening.

Bear Trap Dunes
Nice and spacious townhouse in need of TLC to be a 5 star property. Awesome entertainment room. Many disappointments such as uncomfortable bed in master bedroom; unable to sleep in bed due to back pain of worn out mattress. High cleaning fee to find property not really cleaned. Had to re-clean areas I paid to have clean. Manager offered to send cleaning personnel back out but pointless after I had to clean. Had a few issues with property, the property manager was very responsive and super nice. Unfortunately property didn’t measure up to my expectations.

Lots of spots to visit and house was centrally located near it all. Shuttle bus isn’t running due to Covid right now and parking can be hard to find in each beach town, that would have been good to know ahead of time. Community pool was great. No hot tub due to Covid. We only purchased 4 passes for Bear Trap amenities and that was enough for us to share for the week.

Wonderful house and location. Plumbing needs to be looked at. Upstairs bathroom sink was clogged when we got there and leak was noticed, and reported, in the main floor ceiling.

New Year's Get-away
Enjoyed a NYE family get-away at this location. 4 adults and 6 20-somethings. Plenty of room and had lots of fun celebrating together. Kitchen a little small for large groups but we managed. Would be nice to have another love seat or something in the living room upstairs but plenty of comfortable seating in the game room in the basement. This is our second time staying in this location and plan to come back again sometime.

I am part of a golf group that travels to a new destination each year and this place was perfect for us! We enjoyed being so close to Bear Trap Dunes and a lot of other courses! The house had plenty of room for the group to spread out and relax after our rounds! Would stay here again for sure!

Love Bethany
This is the 2nd time renting a home in Bear Trap. This townhouse was perfect for our family, especially our teen boys! The basement was just perfect for having 6 teens. We rented linens directly through the owner (I believe they use Gale Force) and this was so helpful not to have to worry about making beds and washing everything upon departure or having to bring and take them home! The owners were accessible and answered any questions we had. My only suggestion would be to have the cleaning service do a deep clean to the interior doors and flooring more often for fingerprints and dirt in the floor crevices. It was an amazing week. Location and the community amenities are fantastic to occupy the entire family!!!!

Short and Sweet!!
Made some last minute plans for a long weekend and this house was perfect! Only 50 feet from the driving range was a bonus for our golf fans and close enough to beaches and nightlife with being too close. Nice quite stay with everything we needed. Might want to replace the frying pans, but other than that, great stay!

Great Accommodations
Property was great and owners were easy to deal with. House was very well stocked with dishes, utensils and cleaning products and was very clean when we arrived. Didn't need to bring anything. Entertainment system in the house was great and easily accommodated 8 adults. Close to the beach, restaurants and right on the golf course. Would definitely stay here again.
