There were dirty paper towels from the previous renter under the recliner in the common room. The windows and blinds were very dusty. The washing machine is broken for the spin cycle. The guest bathroom shower head leaked all over the wall until I tightened it. The remote for the TV and Fireplace did not work. But the biggest surprise was stepping on a marijuana bud in the carpet. Putting the kids to bed, I thought I stepped on a grass sticker. Nope, it was a marijuana bud. I took a photo and shared with Cobb.

Our cabin was very clean and a great floor plan. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes,glasses and pots and pans. The master bed room and bath excellent for private and comfort. The other side had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath in the middle. The living area was very spacious. Our family enjoyed the beach and the BBQ area under the deck. Please inform the owners that we left a folding chair . Other than a rain storm or two the experience was great.

Reviewer Comments: location was great, beds were not very comfortable and should be replaced, kitchen was well equipped but pots, pans and knives need to be replaced as they are very worn/dull. I have rented many cabins and homes all over the country through VRBO, Air BNB and rental companies and have never had to pay extra for linens. We opted to bring our own instead of paying and additional $150 on top of a higher than average rental price. I would suggest that the linens (sheets, towels etc) be included in the overall rental fee. I would also suggest bunk beds and an actual bed instead of a futon in the upstairs room.

Very clean and well equipped beach house. Plenty room for large family. There were 16 of us and we never felt crowded. Wonderful outdoor spaces with great views and deck furniture. Very short walk to beach. Highly recommend.

Great house Short walk to beach Grocery and restaurants nearby without taking ferry to Galveston Unfortunately COVID 19 was starting to cause havoc but we enjoyed our immediate family safely
