This is a large house and there only two of us staying over a long weekend. Loved the fire pit and the view of the lake. Our only issue was the outside, downstairs area was a bit cluttered looking. Very nice & clean. Very convenient for boat tournament.

This place has so much to offer and really enjoyed our stay. The covered porches were amazing and the house so pleasantly close to the water. The basement suite worked out well for us to be both together and apart. The space, location, and convenience of this location are tough to beat. It just needs a little TLC. Some good deep cleaning and a little updating would make me never want to leave. The kitchen is cramped and could be stocked with more current items. But, the space and place did our family good and we had a great time. Our daughter especially enjoyed the at least daily visit from a family of ducks. We rented a boat nearby and really enjoyed the water. It was a fun getaway.

Beautiful home on a gorgeous, wide cove. Owners are very nice people. Exceptional property in that the driveway goes straight down into the lake, so you can launch your boat from the driveway. The basement is awesome with beds, a tv area, a kitchen, and full bathroom so all the teens can stay up late if they want to. We really enjoyed the dock- all the teens loved jumping off into the water. We rented a boat, and it was easy to tie up there. Lake Martin was gorgeous, and the teens had an absolute blast jumping off Chimney Rock and floating around the cove. A storm blew our floats away, and a very nice neighbor caught them and saved them for us. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back! Thank-you!!

This was our 4th year to stay at Lightsinger Lake House. It is perfect for our family. Our college age grandaughter and her aunt claim the basement. It is great to have a boat launch with a nice pier right there. We always have a wonderful time and the time goes by too fast!

We had a wonderful time at Lake Martin and this property. Our group consisted of 2 adults and 6 children. The basement studio was perfect for the teenagers and the younger kids were upstairs with us. Well stocked, location was great. We like to stay away from the busy parts of the lake and this spot was great. Close to restaurants, grocery, marina and gas for the boat. Thumbs up from us!

Easy to find, great location, beautiful view

We stayed over the Memorial Day holiday with our children and grandchildren. Everyone had a great time! Easy to find, plenty of room (5 adults, 3 kids), boat ramp out front, great area for swimming and fishing. Easy access to big water. The owner called the day of checkin to make sure everything was in order. Would highly recommend.

We rented this beautiful property to have a place to stay near Auburn University. Our daughter was graduating from Auburn and we need a place for immediate and extended family to stay. Hotels in Auburn were all booked and the rates were increased due to graduation season. A friend suggested I look to rent a private home near Auburn. I found this property and after looking at the pictures, I thought it would be ideal for our situation. It exceeded our expectations and it provided a very special home base for our family to catch up and celebrate our daughter's graduation. We made full use of the home. We grilled out the first night and had a beautiful dinner on the dock. Ducks and geese came up to greet us! We rented a pontoon boat from the marina that is exactly a mile away. It was too easy! We are not boat owners and did a great job carefully securing the boat to the dock multiple trips. The home was immaculate and had every little thing you could think of for kitchen use. The bedrooms are lovely and wow!!! that basement area is incredible. We loved staying here so much that we are trying to figure out a week to rent in the future. The home sits on a cul-de-sac next to very nice homes and neighbors. Also, the home is a quick 30 minutes to Auburn! Thank you owners for sharing this family treasure!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The location on a quiet cove was perfect. Our grandsons had a ball fishing and swimming off the dock. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. We had a great time! It was very clean and accommodating. Very convenient location with boat launch. It was in a quite area with a wonderful shady area to sit. Right on the water! Had everything we needed.

Care should be given to make sure that the ping pong table is stable.

Enjoyed beautiful setting. House, not so much. In disappointing shape.

The house was a wonderful vacation for two families with teenagers. The dock & cove was big enough to let them loose and just of the main lake for boating. The house is close to the water and being able to put the boat in at the house was convient. Basement set up was great for separate activities and had room for games and fun. The homeowner was very accommodating and available for questions before and while we stayed. Thank you!

Excellent location on a cove, perfect for swimming. The house is comfortable for a family gathering, girls weekend or fishing trip. The owners are easy to reach with questions. Boat ramp on the property is a plus!
