We’ve been coming to beach walk for over 5 years now. We’ve stayed in Irish mist the past couple years. It’s perfect location for multiple age kids. Little ones can be playing at the beach, others can be on the fishing dock, or head to the clubhouse without crossing roads, just taking the dock. It was clean, the workers are always friendly to our children. I love that Irish mist has a golf cart included as well.

We had another wonderful stay at Beachwalk. This was our 5th year staying in Irish Mist. The owners seem to do improvements every year. It's much appreciated. The only issue we had was the back door handle kept falling off. It took 3 different maintenance men to come 3 times to resolve it. They were over right away. They eventually had to come back the next day with a new handle and we were unable to lock the door 1 night. All in all they did all they could in a timely manner and were very professional. We definitely booked this house again for next year.

We had such a good stay at Irish Mist. This was our fourth year coming and fourth house - this was our new favorite! You cannot beat the location with it being on Lake Kai and just a few houses from the pool. Furniture was very comfortable - including the beds. We had 10 people and everyone slept so well!

This is a great place to relax, play with multi-generational family members, walk to parks, volleyball courts, swimming pool, splash pad, sit outside or play games inside. The house was exactly as advertised, clean, kitchen had all we needed to cook every night. We had a couple questions and they were answered quickly. Highly recommend! Would love to bring more family here.

We stayed here for a long weekend, with 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 2-6), and it was PERFECT!! Plenty of space for us all to spread out, and the open plan layout of the kitchen and living room (and the full view out back of the beach) made it super easy for everyone to exist in the same space. We loved that there were 2 wagons to use for pulling supplies to the main beach, and being able to use the golf cart was such a fun feature for the kids.

We loved Irish spring. It’s the perfect location and size for us! It’s located near the fishing pier, and lake Kai where our children spend a lot of time. We have 6 kids ranging from 6 months to 12 years and each of them had more then enough space to sleep. The kitchen and living room were open and great to hang out in. Right before our stay the owner allowed the golf cart to be included, which was wonderful! We had one rented but that allowed us to cancel.

Irish Mist was very nice, clean, had wonderful views of lake Kai, 1 min walk to the coffee shop, a slightly longer walk to the main beach but worth it for the amenities and views this property has to offer. Only recommendation I have is letting the renters use the golf cart to make the beach trips a little easier. Other than that, amazing stay!

We just concluded our fourth straight year at Irish Mist. It was the perfect set up for our family group of six adults and five children. Its location right on Lake Kai was perfect as all of our grandchildren love to fish. It’s location just a few feet from the pool, splash pad, and clubhouse was ideal. Our biggest disappointment is that it’s already rented for next year during the time period that we can come to Beachwalk.

We had a wonderful time at the Irish Mist. The owners just finished an amazibg brick patio, which is attached to an enclosed patio. The morning coffee and evening drinks in both places created a very much relaxing environment. The only recommendations is to replace the firm beds on the main floor and update the bathrooms on the main floor. Neither would stop my family from staying here again!

Loved the lake & space
It was perfect for our group
7 adults. Where it fell short: sliding doors & bedroom door didn’t shut all the way. No remote in bedroom, grab bars and bath mats needed, Kitchen spotlights , microwave lite out. Porch had webs , ripped screen, generalrepair and paint. No facial tissue and awful soap. Lastly, as a first impression the front door was dirty. Password didn’t work either.

One of the best vacations!
Our young family 3 kids (6,4,3) had an amazing time at this property. I honestly think the pictures don’t do it’s location justice. One of the most important things about this property is it’s located with a sand beach as a backyard. It’s the prime location in distance to the community pool and coffee/donut shop and dock/boardwalk. We actually were so pleased with the location, we only went to Lake Michigan twice. If your looking for a relaxing spot with little or no need to drive..this is it. House was plenty big for our needs and we plan to be back again. I’m not big on taking my time to write detailed reviews, but it was worth it.

We have been visiting Beachwalk with our grandchildren every few years for 15 years. This was our 6th stay at Beachwalk and our 2nd stay at Irish Mist. We love Irish Mist. We love sitting on the back porch looking out at Lake Kai. The bedroom situations suit our family perfectly. The kitchen is nicely supplied with everything we need for the week.
