The home is well-stocked with everything you need for a fun family gathering. We especially enjoyed all of the comfortable seating and beds. Kitchen is great - would suggest having coffee filters on hand for guests’ first mornings at least since we can’t pre buy those, not knowing the type we’ll need. Other than that we loved everything and will choose this home again. Thanks!

Bunk beds were perfect for the kids and the walk to the beach was a breeze, even for the little kids.

Had it been a little more equipped, it would have been an even better experience. For example, there were just 8 bath towels (one per guest), one kitchen towel, barely enough toilet paper, and only one roll of paper towels. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

This property was very nice and everything is accurate as the photos show. A few things to take into account with this property is that the beach is probably 1/4 mile away but a very easy walk through the woods to get there but it's not handicap accessible. During the weekdays there were very few people on the beach but it was more crowded on the weekend which is to be expected. The other thing to keep in mind is that you are a good 25 to 30 mits depending on traffic to get into Charleston itself. This was a very secure home as you have to obtain a gate pass just to enter the property and there is a very nice golf course on the backside of the home. We saw deer here everyday from the golf course to the beach! I would recommend this property for a family vacation.

The house was perfect for our family. Very close to beach access, so easy for the three year olds to make the walk. Very clean with lots of room for everyone. The new kitchen renovation looked really nice. We would definitely stay again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We're very familiar with Wild Dunes, having both owned and rented in the resort. This location for a 3 br/2ba house is amazing. Walk across the backyard to Palm Blvd and about 1/2 block to the beach access path which is a very easy stroll through the dunes to the beach. The house has a lovely florida room which we used to the exclusion of the living room. Beds were comfortable and both linens and kitchen utensils plentiful. Informed housekeeping that the pans had been put away without washing by previous occupants and never noticed by housekeeper. Kitchen and baths seem to be pretty original but clean and in good condition. Our issue presented as we opened the house and were met with a terrible mildew/wet/mold(?) smell. After opening everything up and exploring a bit, we decided the spongy floor in the utility closet must be the culprit and kept that door closed the rest of the stay. This assessment was born out by the spongy bottom in the master bath tub which butts up against the utility area. There must be or, have been in the past, a leak. We definitely hope whatever the issue is, it is resolved as we'd consider this rental for the future if we didn't have to put up with strong odor.

This was a great place at a great location. However, a couple of things: Bunk bed, doesn't look put together right and the top bunk didn't seem super stable. Pull out sofa was also broken and we had to prop it up to use it. Last thing is I noticed, the 2 back doors didn't lock. Locks were stuck or something. i'm glad I noticed this when leaving and not while I was there. Otherwise, there was plenty of space, it was a great location and we had a great time. Beach access trail was right next to the house

Perfect Girls' Getaway location. We enjoyed this cozy place to experience Charleston. Loved being at the beach, but able to easily venture into the city and explore.

I ended up seeing this property listed elsewhere cheaper after I had booked, however Ive always had good experiences Island Realty, so it was worth the extra $$ to know I was dealing with a reputable local company. We've stayed on IOP many times, but this was our first stay in Wild Dunes. We rented a golf cart (LSV ) from Lighting Bugz, which I recommend, we ended up using it to cruise around and check out the beautiful area...we drove to the IOP marina a few mornings and had breakfast at the Dockside Deli. The house is in a great location, close to the beach, plenty of space and clean. There was plenty of parking, and storage for our beach stuff under the house, and the outdoor shower was handy too. If I had to have a critique, I'd say the bathrooms need updating and the deck needs an umbrella for day time shade. I was not impressed with the pool situation at Wild Dunes. It was October and they claim the swim center pool is heated. If it is, it is under heated. The other pools the sports card gave us access to, were hard to locate without going through the hotel, so we didn't. All in all I'd definitely recommend 13 Sandcrab Ct!

We loved the sunroom as well as the quiet road of the house to play outside. There were some permanent residences and the neighbors were so friendly. The kitchen and bathrooms could use updating but this was not a big deal. The furniture was all very comfy. We would rent this house again.

Property description should include a floor plan for this great layout. Master bedroom and bath are on one side of the house, with the other two bedrooms and bath on the other. The living room and sunroom are inbetween. This makes it great for kids on one side. We are a family of 6 and it was very spacious. Sun room is my favorite. Bright and inviting. We would stay there again. We found a great place for afternoon coffee/lattes/ice cream on Sullivan's Island called Café Medley (about a 15 minute drive from the house). A big plus for us coffee addicts. We also rented bikes for the week from Carolina Bike and Beach. It couldn't have been easier. They dropped and picked up the bikes at the house. Great fun biking on the island trails and very flat!
