Cute lil log cabin, cozy and homey. First picture on posting is of main house I believe, which houses the host/owners, which is not one of the rental cabins. Bear den does not have a view to volleyball court. Regardless, beautifully maintained property.

Home is extremely clean. Has great Alaskan decor. Brought my Eskimo friend; he stated “I feel very settled in this home” wish we had more than one night’ caught our limit next day of Halibut at Central Charters @Homer

Guy that runs the place is amazing, keeps the grounds with than artists flare. Must have taken yrs! Great stay log cabins are beautiful. Close to shopping fishing and great food.

The property has everything you will need. It is close enough to town. But far enough out that you don’t run into tourists.

This is a great place for large families. Large open kitchen/dining/living area. Real beds for 9. Bedroom on main room for elderly guests. Beautiful lawn and deck. Very clean and well maintained. Easy drive to Homer. Only negative is that it’s close to the highway and can hear road noise when windows are open. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice and clean property for a big family. Cabin was supplied with adequate kitchen/bathroom/bedrooms necessities. Outside surroundings were serene and well maintained. Would happily stayed longer if we could.

Excellent choice for our stay in Anchor Point and a good place to come back and relax after our bear viewing and fishing trips in Homer. Very clean and plenty of room for our group of 6 adults - plenty of room for larger groups in a very quiet location.

It was a nice cabin to stay in. Plenty of space for everyone to comfortably hang out. Woke up to a mom and baby moose in the yard, so that was a big hit for visiting family.

We had an amazing experience. I would describe the cabin location as serene and beautiful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We loved the log cabin and John, our host was great to provide directions and answer any questions we had! I would definitely stay at this property again. We highly recommend!

We loved this place!
This "cabin" had everything that anyone would ever need. A full kitchen, full sized washer and dryer, multiple bathrooms... even a foosball table! Our only regret is that we only stayed here for a short period of time.

Family Fishing Fun
John, on site, was great at responding to questions and needs. Our group actually rented two cabins and we all had a fantastic time. Be sure to read the notebook with do's & don'ts. The property is beautiful, be sure to take a walk around. The pictures show a daybed in the living room but that has been removed. Thanks Bear Paw Adventures for a great vacation!

Our stay was amazing! Admittedly we spent little time in the cabin as there is so much to see and do nearby. Cabin was extremely roomy, but a bit disjointed. This would be an amazing place to stay with kids.

Our family enjoyed our stay in The Bear Den at Bear Paw very much! The home was well cared for and clean. The amenities such as the fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and comfy living room and bedrooms were perfect for our entire family. We sincerely thank John and his family for taking great care of us.

We enjoyed our stay. The Bear Den sleeps 10 people. We had 6 people staying, and we were charged for "extra" people. Not too happy about that. Home was clean and we had plenty of room.

Awesome Cabin
The Bear Den was the perfect cabin for our group going fishing out of Homer. John is awesome and was very accomidating. He let us check in early and even gave us some good advice about our fishing charter. I would definatly stay there again.

Very clean, large, and comfortable!
I needed a single night for 10 people. The pictures made the area look great, but those images can be misleading. I had called and emailed John a couple times with questions, and he was super responsive. Once we got to the home, I couldn't have been more pleased. It was very comfortable and exactly what we all needed after a very long drive. Everyone had their own bed and a warm cup of coffee in the morning. I will recommend this to anyone who asks.

The property is very nice, a little closer to the road than I would've liked but nice.
The owner John was wonderful and very accommodating to our needs. The beds were a tad uncomfortable but chocked that up to missing our own beds. We fished the kenai daily by it was a bit of a drive there around an hour
