The Easy Plateau was quite possibly one of the best places our family has every stayed at along the Carolina Coast. The house itself was amazing and very well done, and the property, especially with it's easy walk to downtown Beaufort and that it has it's own boat dock makes it all the more better. We'd certainly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Beaufort area. We'll certainly be back again. Thank you!

We are returning guests because we love this home so much! The front porch is perfect for enjoying watching the boats go by and all the friendly people taking a stroll down the street. Amy is always so attentive in answering questions and making sure we are comfortable.

This was our fifth year staying at Easy Plateau: we keep coming back for the comforts of home in a beautiful setting! Amy is a wonderful host, and the home is well-stocked and super-clean. You can’t beat the front porch, outdoor shower, or direct water access (we always bring the boat!). Can’t wait to return next year!

This house was perfect for our family. Directly across from the water with access for our boat. Within walking or golfcart riding distance to all the restaurants and shops. We fished off of the pier, sat on our front porch and watched the water in the evenings. It was perfect!

This was by far the best vacation experience I have had yet. The house was adorable and situated right on Taylor Creek so we had unlimited access to the dock where we tied up our kayaks. We could walk into town for dinner and shopping and catch the ferry to the barrier islands or just paddle over to a beach to explore Carrot Island. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking most of our meals and we could eat inside or out on the picnic table on the front porch. I think Amy must have a background in hospitality because everything we could have asked for was there including plenty of first aid supplies which someone always seems to need. Everyone who walked, biked, drove by on their golf carts was friendly and I got the sense that Beaufort is a community which is so refreshing after spending many years going to the upper parts of the Outer Banks. I would go back to this property in a heartbeat!

This property was the perfect size for my family of 4. We loved spending time on the front porch. Great space for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Fantastic communication from Amy. All our needs were met and she was super accommodating with arrival and departure. Loved it and we will be back!!

The Easy Plateau is a charming house located across the street from Taylor Creek. Within walking distance to all of the shops, dining, and history of Beaufort, yet removed from the crowds. Daily sightings of Carrot Island horses was a bonus during our visit. Listing photos and descriptions were spot-on. We’ll definitely book Easy Plateau again when returning again Beaufort.

This home was fabulous, it was just as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped. There were little details tucked in all over that were so appreciated - noise cancelling machines, fans, bug spray, oils and a diffuser, make up wipes, etc. The view from the porch was amazing, we saw the horses right across the creek several times. We will be back!

This is by far one of the nicest homes we have stayed at through VRBO. It was exceptionally clean and beautiful, the host had so many extra touches that made us feel so welcome and the location was perfect! It is close to downtown and is so convenient with the dock, if you are coming over with your boat. Great communication from the host and was very accessible if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this home!

Couldn't ask for a better home base to explore Beaufort! This is a great house with a fantastic dock -- right on beautiful Taylor's Creek where you can see a variety of wildlife and tons of boat traffic. The house is great for a family, has a kitchen where you can cook and eat comfortably, and a front porch where a group can hang out and watch the water. A personal favorite was the Hemingway Room -- like a Man Cave for a seafarer! House is well-placed to go to downtown Beaufort. Excellent spot overall!

Perfect Start to Vacation
This was an absolutely perfect Beaufort cottage. We loved the Front St. location and felt like we were living in a Nicholas Sparks novel the entire time. Communication with Amy was excellent and the cottage is simply beautiful. The little touches throughout make it feel like home and it's evident this is a loved location. We felt very honored to stay in this lovely home. We hope to return sometime soon!

Perfect Getaway
We loved every second of our stay! Beautiful waterfront views with floating dock for boat, easy walk or bike ride down Front St. to restaurants and shops and peaceful front porch. The house was stocked with just about anything you could possibly need and beds were super comfortable. Host was very helpful and available to answer any questions. Our family has rented from Amy for the past four summers. She is a wonderful, responsive host, and the house is perfect: comfortable, quiet, clean, and well-stocked. This was the first year we had a minor maintenance issue: Amy had a repair person to the home within an hour.
100% recommend. We can’t wait to return to enjoy the porch, outdoor shower, and boating and fishing from the dock!

Beautiful weekend in Beaufort
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Beaufort. We were in town for a big family wedding and had lots of activities, however our favorite times were spent on the Easy Plateau porch. The view is lovey and. the house is perfect. Amy was super communicative and checked in with us several times. We’re in Beaufort a few times a year and would definitely stay in her lovely home again.

Happy place
We enjoyed our stay. Loved the big front porch looking out on the creek, the pleasant 12-15 min walk along front street to town, renting kayaks to explore the Rachel Carson reserve, etc and being able to tie them up on the dock, grilling in the back yard. With the “Hemingway room,” this actually a four bedroom. We’ll stocked with everything too (if anything too much so—personally I’d prefer there not be half-finished jams in the fridge). Would also recommend adding an ice maker and garbage disposal. We had an issue with the washer, and the owner addressed it promptly and compensated us generously. She is very Responsive. Overall, highly recommend this property and Beaufort.

One of our favorite getaways!
Our family loves this home! We’ve rented three years in a row, and are already trying to find the right dates for our next stay. Amy is exceptionally helpful and a great communicator. The home is clean, very well-stocked, and comfortable - and you can’t beat relaxing on the front porch, with a great view! Other favorite features are the kitchen, and the outdoor shower… and the convenience of laundry. The ease of dock access is wonderful, and the walkability into town is perfect. A true gem that we’ll continue to return to year after year.
