This is my wife and I’s second time staying at this property, and we’ve absolutely loved it both times. We came in the winter, and summer and each offer spectacular experiences. The view cannot be beat, and the updated nature of this property is a major plus. Would stay here again 10/10 times

We loved everything about the place. It’s right on the water on Douglas Island and has beautiful views. Location is convenient to town of Juneau and restaurants on Douglas. We enjoyed the comforts of home with a few special treats waiting for us upon our arrival. Thanks for sharing your home!

If you dream of being bathed in the bounty of natures luxury then this place is for you. Accommodations: this immaculately appointed two bedroom House was perfection. Kitchen is decently stocked with basic spices, locally roasted coffee was here for use. With high-quality kitchen appliances, and modern styling, the interior was perfectly in tune with the beauty of nature that surrounds. Beds in each bedroom were very comfortable with quality linens. Master bedroom with large panoramic picture window looking out to the bay. We were in the upper unit, there were other guests in the lower unit. Deck on the back of the house has panoramic view of the (I believe) gastineau chanel. With a cruise ships visible in the distance. This house is truly surrounded by nature With eagles ever present. Wonderful view of the channel gives you an appreciation for the tides. One morning at low tide, a harbor seal was patrolling the Coast just off the deck. There are blueberries, watermelon berries, salmon berries, raspberries on the property. We enjoyed the fire pit two nights when the weather allowed. (It rained about 50% of the time of our visit). Firewood was present however we needed to supplement with locally purchased split firewood. The location is excellent, A car is necessary as it is just out of town. Proximately five minute drive to downtown Juneau. 15 to 20 minutes to the airport. The house is located on Douglas island, which offer some additional privacy for those seeking to get away while being very close to town. The only note the feedback I would give is the windows did not have fully dark out shades, and the light of summertime may challenge those unaccustomed to the long Alaskan summer days. (bring an eyeshade…) I would highly recommend this home. We shall recommend highly to our friends, and hope to come back again soon.

We forwent a cruise in order to explore more of the real Juneau experience. We’ve never been more happy about that decision. The house was amazing. All the amenities we needed with an impeccable view. We had a soar of eagles fighting over their catch- a salmon right off the deck. The beds and bedding were wonderfully comfortable. We had access to fishing poles, a few chairs and even bikes. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your views and property!

This place was awesome. House was clean and modern. Breathtaking view with a fun yard including a fire pit. Location is perfect. I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful location and beautiful house right on the water. This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. We really enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning. We saw deer on the property and 3 bald eagles stopped for a visit.

The Island Beach Condo was a beautiful, well equipped, comfortable, vacation home that was perfectly located for us to ski at Eaglecrest yet also close to downtown for restaurants and the Alaska Museum. My son saw the Northern Lights from the balcony overlooking Gastineau Channel on the last night he was there! Would definitely stay there again!

We loved this property! Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Beautiful view with lots of amazing windows to look out. Everything you need to cook meals during your stay. Comfy beds. Two full bathrooms perfect for two couples. Easy to find. Micheal was so friendly and helpful and very easy to reach. Would love to go back and stay here again.

Superb place to stay at - easiest check-in and amenities. Highly recommend to anyone who loves being near the water, watching Bald Eagles, the ships on the water, seeing the mountains across the bay emerge out of the morning fog, etc.

We had an outstanding experience at Michael’s beautiful home. Perfect for our stay. Comfortable beds with nice sheets and bedding, soft pillows. Coffee and wine were very much appreciated. The views are one of a kind. Lots of wildlife to see right out the windows. Great communication with Michael. We all give it 5 stars and would highly recommend.

Beautiful modern home by the channel with lovely views of Juneau ! Enjoyed watching the eagles fly from trees to catch fish right in front of you-wonderful. Great location.

The upper level condo was superb! The layout was great for our group of four. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for cooking and serving meals. The beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean. We got to enjoy sometime of the large deck although we were unable to find the cushions for the outdoor chairs. We highly recommend the Beach Condo in Juneau.

My husband and I stayed in this property during a business trip to Juneau. The interior is clean, modern, and spacious with amazing views from every room! We spotted bald eagles flying by every day and even a few harbor seals playing in the water. Enjoyed beautiful hikes, whale watching boat tours, and tasty local restaurants all within a short drive. Slept comfortably each night in the cozy master bed. We are looking forward to bringing our children next time to stay for an adventurous family vacation!

It was the perfect condo and fit us to a tee. It was very comfortable with great beds and a kitchen that answered all needs. The views out the windows were an indescribable view of the channel and all the wildlife. It's quite the climb up and down from the parking areas, but even with my limited mobility, it wasn't too bad. We'd stay here again in a second! The property was very clean and all we needed for a quick family visit. The owners were very responsive to our immediate needs. We look forward to our next visit!

This condo serves as cozy home base for vacationers, with amazing views of the channel. There are several steps that take one into the condo, but the owners have created a thoughtful tram solution should it be required. All amenities are within a 10-15 minute driving distance. Downtown Juneau is within walking distance. We spotted hawks, eagles, several seaplanes, not to forget many many cruise ships from the condo windows during our stay! That said, this condo could benefit from basic maintenance upkeep and periodic thorough cleaning. When we checked into it, we found floors across the entire condo to be a bit messy. All the bedroom and bathroom doors are creaky / loud. Finally, the only privacy to the master bath is via the master bedroom door. I realize this is an aesthetic comment but this could be an issue depending on who is sharing the room. Aside from the minor issues, this rental provides an amazing experience !

I would definitely go back to Juneau and stay here. Everything was immaculate, well equipped, and the owners were very responsive to our every need. Stay here! You won't regret it.
