Essentially... perfect. The instructions were precise and accurate, from how to drive in, to the codes, where to park, how the house functions, and -- most importantly -- how to Jacuuuuzzz. Communication was fast and clear from my first pre-booking questions until departure. Comfortable beds (and very nap-able couch), good water pressure, and plenty of places to do absolutely nothing in comfort. Walking distance to stores and restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful little cozy place,only one thing was that didn't realize the second bedroom was outside upstairs. Other than that we totally enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at this VRBO multiple times. We appreciate the home and natural yard, walkability to restaurants and shops and short drive to the beach.

A relaxing weekend with friends in the canyon at this country home located close to several restaurants and shops.

This is our fourth time staying on Jennifer’s property. We love the canyon, proximity to the beaches, Getty Art Museum, hiking trails, etc. We enjoy the nature setting of her homes.

The “sunrise ☀️“ home was perfect. The property is right off the main road and a very short walk from town; were we found a great full service community market, a few restaurants and other shops. We rented the home because we needed a relaxing place to retreat to before, during and after our eldest son’s wedding. Yes I said we chose this home to call our home away from home during my son’s wedding weekend. I knew that after the dress Rehearsal as well as the wedding night festivities that were to take place just .02 of a mile up the road at “The Inn at the Seventh Rey”, I would definitely need and enjoy a soak in that Hot Tub. The first night we were able to pick up fresh steaks at the butcher counter as well several other items from that locate market located just across and up a the road a block or so. So that 1st night of our stay we enjoy grilling on the outdoor gas range, talking and reminiscing with family while sitting around the open fire pit. As mentioned in the rental posting there are two very friendly and well behaved dogs on property that did quietly checked in on us from time to time. Both of the doggies listened and followed my gestures to sit, stay, lay down or head back to the main house which was also great. There are also some chicken in the adjacent yard but none of them ventured through the open side gate into our yard area. We did also get the opportunity to spot two small Guinea pigs out in the adjacent main homes yard free grazing on the fresh green grass. The property manager(Jennifer) / and owner were wonderful. Jennifer’s response time was quick, she thanking us for choosing her home to stay at during our time in Topanga and was willing to answer any questions we had. The home has a clean fresh cozy cottage feel to it, having two private bedrooms both with queen sized beds, the second bedroom is accessed via a outdoor staircase off the rear of the cottage. There also is a peaceful large outdoor sitting area off the downstairs bedroom accessible via the bedrooms sliding or from the front yard of the home. Would be a Great location to play some old fashioned board games or just relax with a good book. I had the opportunity to still and relax a bit there with a large fresh cup of coffee before helping my husband cook up a nice breakfast in the well stocked kitchen. If I ever get the opportunity to return to the Topaga area I would definitely rent this home again if it’s available as well as recommend you rent it.
