The condo is one of the best furnished and beautifully decorated and view is amazing. The owners very informative and quick to respond. Our daughter and family stayed in the unit as we had four other condo’s with 17 total family staying at the complex. The location is so close to so many beautiful beaches and hiking trails. Everything you needed they furnished. Highly recommend. Just one thing to note. Quiet pool hours are 6-9 pm. Which for a group with young kids who even after a full day at the beach like to have fun at the pool was hard to keep them not too rowdy. Good BBQ areas. We ope to be back soon.

Awesome condo near the beach that is super family friendly. Stocked immaculately for the outdoor activities as well as the home family life. We recommend this condo highly!!!

This was juat what we needed! Beautful and clean, within walking distance of the beach. And so well stocked with like beach chairs and a cooler. We will be back :)

Great location, very clean, very spacious condo

This was a perfect place to stay with my family while we were in Maui. We were in Maui for a wedding and all the other people were jealous of our place. Not only less expensive but much nicer than what other families had during their stay. This condo was in a very nice community with friendly people.

Very nice. No problems.

The good: The pictures showed the condo as it is. The guide book was spot on and the email updates from the owner was great. Good communication from him to us. The beach gear was great to have to save money on buying new stuff. Good cross breeze with all 3 balconies open. There was tide pods to wash clothes left for us, soap, dish soap, dishwashing pods and TP. Some changes needed: The kitchen was good, but needs updated pots and pans to handle a bigger family ie: bigger frying pans and pots with proper sized lids. All plates, glasses, and utensils were just fine. The upstairs bathroom toilet screams a high pitch all night and runs constantly, so it’s hard to sleep in the loft. The loft bed will break your back off and it will take about 2 hours to recover in the morning. The parking space was constantly used by a maid company for other condos being cleaned, so there were times we could not park in our assigned space and had to walk 50 yards carrying groceries or beach gear up a hill. We informed the owner but he was unable to take corrective action. The internet was out for the building and we were told to call spectrum ourselves, they couldn’t help us as we were not the account holders, so no homework was able to be done. The towels were “sour smelling” once you used them to dry off, but didn’t smell when dry. Otherwise it was a good stay.

My family and MIL stayed here for 1 week. The place was perfect with a good layout, plenty of kitchen supplies, brita filter, working AC in 3 areas, large lanai, lots of beach gear, great pool that wasn’t busy and decent beds. We did not have a car for the whole trip so the only downside is that the condo is in the far back of the property. It takes about 7-10 min to walk from the condo to the street which was not a big deal for my husband and I but my MIL is 78 and 6 y.o. this was a big challenge as it was on a slight hill. Other than the location of the unit, the place was fabulous. We had a great stay

The pool and grounds where the condo is located are stunning. It's a short walk 5 min walk to the closest beaches and 5 -10 min drive to amazing snorkeling. The condo was so clean when we arrived. It was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, plenty of towels and sheets, pillows, etc. There's a closet full of anything and everything you'd need for the beach. Towels, beach chairs, tons of snorkel gear, boogie boards, shovels, pails, etc I recommend reading Walt's 3 ring binder with information about the area and snorkeling. It was very helpful.

Everything you need for a great vacation

A wonderful stay for our family, which included grandparents, and a 6 month old baby. We had everything we needed and more, including a pack and play crib, baby bath, beach towels, a cooler, and beach chairs! The closet is well stocked as advertised. A special mention to say the beds were extremely comfortable! The air conditioning was a wonderful comfort. Walt was very responsive and helpful to us during our stay. The location was good for us, as it was quiet, and off the busy S.Kihei road, but we wished we had a better view of the ocean. Not a huge deal given that we were in short driving distance to some amazing beaches. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of 4 adults and 1 child had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well situated for access to beaches, restaurants, and other outdoor adventures on Maui. The grounds around the condo are lovely and well cared for. Walt always responded quickly to any questions and provided an overwhelming amount of information about the area which we referred to often. There is a whole closet of beach gear including boogie boards, umbrellas, masks and snorkels, ice chests, etc. My only complaint is that the snorkel gear was not good quality and we had difficulty finding a set up that didn't leak. A couple of us resorted to renting gear which wass easy and relatively inexpensive. If you have a favorite mask and snorkel at home, I would suggest bringing it with you if you have room.

This was our first family trip after the pandemic. While there was extra stress involved with the travel, our stay at this wonderful condo was amazing. The amenities were wonderful, our kids loved the pool! And the condo itself was clean and well stocked with all the basics a family of five needed for a week on the island. We would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we came in the door we were delighted by how comfy and homey the condo felt! More amenities than we’ve encountered in the last 3-4 years of renting through online vacation platforms. It was wonderful to have some spices, a filtered water pitcher in the fridge and all the beach supplies just to name a few. We had two incidents that we broke things and when I wrote to Walt as soon as they happened he was very understanding and responded very quickly. The whole complex was very aesthetically nice and we loved the location - Kihei is a great community! We knew the complex was a “quiet” community when we rented and enjoyed that in the evenings as we were tired after every day and headed to bed by 10 but two different times we were at the pools (in the daytime) and both times the security guard came and warned all the families separately that there were noise complaints and asked everyone to quiet down. Both times, in my opinion, it was just people enjoying themselves, nothing was overly loud. So I was slightly bummed out because of tjay, it did seem like the complex as a whole was not very welcoming to families. Overall our stay in Walt’s condo was amazing!! Thank you for a great week Maui!!

Great condo , wonderful views at sunset overall a great place to stay

I had some work to do during this vacation, and the space allowed both of us to not impose on the other's personal time. This was the perfect place in all respects. Everything was as described, and the condo was exactly as photographed. The location was wonderful - everything we wanted to do was nearby. We hope to return to Maui next year and the Goede's condo is our first choice if it is available on our chosen dates.

We were a party of six and found the condo spacious and close to everything. The only thing that is needed is a new ironing board. It wouldn’t stay up and the pad is nonexistent. I know I know, we are on vacation and who irons!! Well after the airport gets a hold of your luggage, things shift and get wrinkled, and you can’t go to a nice dinner wrinkled. Overall, we all would recommend this place. Walt is great at communication and giving info. Walk to the beach or down the road for some great restaurants.

Great vacation spot

Well equipped condo in an excellent development.

The home was just as listed. We had everything we needed and more, the house was well stocked. We had use of a full kitchen including some oils and spices. Many cooking tools and cookware were available. The beds and bathrooms were perfect. The toy closed was well organized and very well equipped. Our stay was during a major rain storm and we were very comfortable in the condominium and secure in our safety. The grounds were beautiful and added to the Maui experience. Loved it .

Our family enjoyed our time at the Maui Kamaole in the Goede's condominium. The space was clean, spacious, and family friendly. We also liked that there was a really nice pool close to their condo and that it is quite close to the beach as well as many other amenities. Check-in was the only thing that we found to be a slight inconvenience because it is not being done face-to-face currently due to Covid, but after checking in we received a response from the front desk quite quickly. Overall, we would highly recommend renting from the Goede's. We felt like they took very good care to make sure we enjoyed our time in their space! Thank you Walt and Carol!

Our family had a great stay in this unit. It was well furnished and everything that Walt had in the detailed write up was true. We like the MK location and have stayed here several times since it is close to beaches in Kihei and Wailea and this unit is the nicest one that we have rented. I was really impressed with the Sports Utility closet and it was full of a lot of very useful items (chairs, umbrellas, mats, cooler, beach equipment, etc) that made our beach trips more enjoyable. The guidebook that Walt has is also very informative and would be really useful for visitors new to Kihei. We definitely enjoyed our stay here!

Walt and Carol's place was exactly what my husband and I were hoping for during our vacation stay. They are so intentional and thoughtful in all they do, and really remember every little detail. From a fully-stocked kitchen with all the appliances and cookware needed, the various beach gear, and all the different media that is available. Our most favorite thing, was a 3-ring binder full of all their recommendations, guides and tips!! It was sooo helpful to get their point of view for all the things available on the island. We absolutely loved our stay, loved how close it was to everything, and that it truly felt like a home away from home. Walt and Carol were so responsive and helpful, and we cannot wait to stay again. Looking forward to being back in Kihei!! Thank you soooo much Walt and Carol! Your home is a dream! <3

This amazing condo is in a great condition, fully matching the description. Nice location, fully equipped with everything you need. And of course Walter did an astonishing job writing a full book of instructions, giving you any possible idea of what to do in Maui, what to see, where to go and so on. Seriously, Walter, you may think about publishing this as a book or a travel website, as that was by far the largest collection of information - we didn't even have to google for anything, every morning we would just open that folder and pick something to do that day. Wow! Highly recommend, that's an amazing place to stay!

Stop looking at units and rent this one-you will not be disappointed. We could have stayed another month. We traveled with 4 other families that all stayed at Maui kamaole and our unit was the largest, cleanest and homiest of all. We also referred to Walt’s thorough information throughout our stay. Each day when we made a plan the group would say, “what does Walt recommend?” We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this MK property and we loved Kihei. This was our 4th time to Maui and previously, we've always stayed in a hotel in the Kanapaali area. We wanted to check out a different part of the island and stay away from hotels during Covid. We had a fabulous 2-week stay. The condo is equipped with more beach/toy/snorkel materials than you could use and more information about so many things on the island than you could read. The owners have done a great job compiling information about beaches, restaurants, recommended tours, almost anything you could imagine. The condo felt very homey. Beds were comfortable and great view from the downstairs lanai. The unit is located at the back of the complex and was very quiet. We would stay here again any time - but it's hard to find availability! My kids loved the pools/hot tubs. It was great to be near the beach/Kihei boat dock and also a quick drive to many of the beautiful beaches in Wailea. The unit could use some tupperware containers and consider upgrading the cooking pots/pans. Otherwise, everything was great. We plan to return to Kihei next time too.

I can't rave enough about the condo, the location, but most importantly the hosts themselves. We are a family of 5 who stayed in this unit for a month juggling online school, work, and sight seeing. We had no trouble accomplishing it all. We had everything we could ask for... high speed internet, ample room to spread out with all the lanais, a well-stocked kitchen, everything we could dream of in the sports closet, and loads of suggestions on what to do on Maui. The list goes on and on. Special mention has to go to the host Walt, who was an invaluable resource from the moment we booked. He has written a comprehensive guide document that provides excellent details on his family's favorite things to do in the island. We never left the condo without it and it never steered us wrong! We highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you Walt and Carol!

Beautiful condo, family friendly, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, lots of amenities for snorkeling, beaching, even kids toys. Great communication from Walt the owner. He was very accommodating with us when COVID hit and we had to change dates. Able to walk to gorgeous beach and shopping. Had cable as well as Netflix, etc. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

We loved our stay at this condo. The owners have everything you could possibly need from water/beach equipment, kitchen utensils/pots&pans, TV & streaming (which was perfect us), comfortable beds, guidebooks and lots of information about vacationing in Maui provided by the owner. We used the spacious lanai everyday (before sunup and after sundown). The awning for the lanai works great. It’s a great place to stargaze too. Perfect location at the edge of Kihei and Wailea. We frequented both places. Nice parks/beaches within walking distance. Overall we were very pleased and are looking forward to our stay next year. The owners are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this condo!

This newly refurbished townhome has everything my family of 4 needed over a four day stay. Host Walt consistently gave timely info and has a complete booklet of suggestions of things to do on the island. The beds and living spaces are comfortable, 2 huge bathrooms fully supplied, the main lanai is beautiful for dining, and all equipment is available for beach/snorkel and tennis. Maui Kamaole is a well-maintained and clean complex with beautiful vegetation. It is convenient to all parts of the island and great beaches.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The pools were great, the gardens were beautiful, the tennis courts were fun. The owners have done a fantastic job of thinking of all the little things that will make a stay at this place very enjoyable. From beach towels, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, snorkels, fins etc. this made going to the beach very delightful. There were plenty of BBQ's to use on the property and this condo had all the necessary tools to create great meals. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it to our family and friends.
