The property owner was always available. Offered great information about the area and activities. We Loved the space! Very clean! Very accessible for us (mother of 2 teens) while staying in Marathon —-as the rest of the family was renting a home with a dock on the bay side. About an hour drive to Key West which we traveled there 3 times during our 7 day stay! I highly recommend! Easy check-in and check out!

The condo was great. Clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We loved the beach and the pool. Great location in central Keys. Micheal was so helpful during the whole process. He gave us great tips and recommendations about things to do, and was super quick to respond anytime I had a question.

Wonderful stay. People are friendly, the beach views are beautiful, and this condo is located in a very safe neighborhood. Lots of beach chairs to use. Grilling area is awesome! Older condo buildings but quite unique. This unit was being renovated and we were the last guests to rent it prior to it. The unit had some cleanliness issues upon our arrival but once the owner was notified it was abruptly addressed. This unit is right next to the pool which is immaculate. The grounds in this complex are well manicured. There was quite a large family group that rented multiple units at this time and were a lot of fun to interact with even sharing drinks and homemade seafood ceviche. It was a great time.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and very well stocked with all of the amenities that you may need. The property was well kept up. Michael was very accommodating and touched base with us. We will definitely rent from him again.

If you want action, night life, etc. stay in Key West. If you want R&R this condo/location on Marathon will fit the bill. It’s about half way between the upper and lower keys so easy access to anywhere you want to explore. If you have any questions or issues arise, the host, Michael, is very responsive.

This property was so very clean! Great location in reference to the water and to all of the different keys! Safe neighborhood to run in and quiet at night! When I come back to the Keys, this will definitely be our go to place

This by far was our favorite place to stay in the Keys! Perfect location for area attractions and a day trip to Key West. Grounds and condo were immaculately kept. Condo was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Michael, our host, did an outstanding job with recommendations. Can't wait to come back! Jennifer

The location is spot on! Just a few steps from the pool and maybe (depends on how fast you walk) 1 & 1/2 minutes to the beach. The local owners/frequent renters were all very welcoming. Everything you need (groceries,restaurants,etc) within minutes. I love to run and it's easy to get the miles in running around the island. I can tell you Michael was awesome as a host, but when you hear the locals/cleaning crew talk about how awesome he is as well, that speaks volumes. We will certainly be back!

WE LOVED IT! Michael has a great condo. We would definitely book with him again. The entire family loved it. What everyone else says about the place is true. He has just about everything you could need. Sand toys for the kids, boogie boards and snorkels, beach chairs, plenty of pantry items. We counted 4 beach towels and two sets of regular towels for each person. The space was perfect for our family of four. Just a 10 minute drive to Winn Dixie or Publix to stock up on food and any forgotten items for the week. But be sure to check the hall closet first. He might already have what you're missing. Michael was very friendly and checked in with us a day or two before the trip to get us situated and to offer food and activity suggestions. He was very friendly and helpful. He truly wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. And of course it is simply breathtaking in Marathon and the keys. This was our third time down. We stopped at Robbie's on the way down for lunch and to feed the tarpon (watch your fingers). And we stopped at Snappers on the way back for dinner and some live music.

Homeowner was very responsive. The pool and private beach are awesome. We could always find a beach chair. It took us awhile to find community tennis and pickleball courts. Sunset just down the road at the park is lovely.

Right from the start of the process to the end of our vacation EVERYTHING went smoothly. We travel a lot and have never rented a condo that was so well equipped and lived up to all of our expectations. A couple of weeks before we arrived Michael had sent me emails with all check in instructions and list of things to do, places to go, and list of restaurants. He was easy to communicate with and check with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The locals who live in this community were quick to make us feel at home. 5 stars are not enough for this host and property.

We felt at home in this condo. It was very clean and fully stocked with towels, cleaning supplies. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming and informative regarding places to eat We didn't use the pool, but looked inviting. The beach was very clean and the view was great.There is a park nearby to see the sunset Will use again hopefully.

Let me just start by saying the condo owner, Michael, is wonderful. Kept in constant communication to make sure our stay was excellent. The condo was probably one of the cleanest and most comfortable we have stayed in. Condo was well stocked with all the essentials. Big plus was having beach chairs, towels, toys, snorkel gear in the condo. The grounds were kept picture perfect. The heated pool was great for the kids and the beach was cleaned and raked every morning. Key Colony is beautiful, quiet community. This condo is definitely 5 stars.

Our group all loved this condo. The location and amenities were perfect. Michael was more than helpful with all our questions. It does seem to need a little updating, but nothing that would affect your comfort, just cosmetic. We would definitely stay here again ! 😁

Our family enjoyed this condo. It was perfectly situated in the middle of the Keys. Michael was great at providing excellent dinner locations and things to do.

Very clean and everything you need for a stay from home, including beach chairs! Michael is an awesome, gracious host. I would stay here again without hesitation. Also the condo grounds are well maintained. The pool is about 10 steps from your door and the beach maybe 100 steps. You will not be disappointed !

This was my first time renting from a VRBO and it was far better than a hotel or leasing agent. Michael was amazing from start to finish. He really cared about our family vacation. Sent precise directions to the condo (we landed in FLL) and check-in procedures were a breeze. Upon arrival, the condo was just as described and VERY clean. We stayed in unit #13 which is literally next to the pool. I could sit in the living room and watch the kids in the pool. Condo was roomy enough for family of four: mom, dad and two teens and contained various items to cook with. There was a closet of left over toys - fishing poles, buckets, floats, etc. from past renters. Cabinets were stocked well with cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. Michael gave us great insight to local fishing spots, charter companies, places to snorkel, eat, shop...he was spot on each time. I didn't have to spend valuable vacation time researching where to go. His information comes from experience and not commission based. The area of this condo is very safe and much more community like than some of the other areas in the keys. This is a very quiet and family friendly area. There is a local pizza and ice cream shop near by, post office, and police station. I never worried about the kids and our safety. Quaint little beach a block away where you can watch the sun set. We used the gas grills one night to cook dinner under the tiki huts which was really nice. While beach towels are provided, I would recommend bringing an additional towel or two. With kids, we were swimming again before they were drying. I would DEFINITELY return to this condo and hope we are fortunate enough to do so one.

Was just a advertised!! You can’t beat the private beach. We felt like we had a VIP spot under the palm trees every morning! There was a good amount of seaweed (red moss) that floated in throughout the day but every morning a tractor came by and cleared it out. The colony was very quiet and relaxing and we felt comfortable waking around the areas with our small children. There’s a couple restaurants within walking distance, but were quiet busy each day so consider calling to make a reservation. Would definitely recommend this location to friends and family!

Just what we needed on our first vacation post-pandemic! Michael communicated with us about everything in the area and with the condo. We took his advice on several restaurants and activities in the area and enjoyed them all. We loved the sunset cruise!
