Quiet neighborhood close to coffee house lots of places to visit. Clean and comfortable loft.

This was the first time I renting a property through vrbo so I was pleased with the experience. I hadn’t stayed in this part of Gloucester before but it was nice.

We just spent three weeks in Gloucester, staying at the Loft. The apartment was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. Diane was very accommodating and accessible. We were a little disappointed that the Loft was located so far from the Harbor area but the description was not misleading. We enjoyed walking to Plum Cove Beach with our family.

We love the location, the accessibility to inlet, quarry swimming, easy drive to Good Harbor beach, Latoff’s bakery for the best pies and blueberry muffins, great sunsets. What could be better??!!!

This was our fifth visit to 'The Loft' and we consider it our home away from home. Diane does a wonderful job creating a warm and caring environment. Additionally, 'The Loft' location is perfect for visiting Gloucester and Rockport.

My wife and I spent five nights at Diane's home. Everything was wonderful from the time we walked into her home, until the time we left. All the necessities were there, making her home very welcoming. When we return to Gloucester, we will definitely stay at Diane's home again. One suggestion is that the beautiful lake behind your home is hidden by a large tree (I think on your property). If it was trimmed back, the view would be spectacular. Thank you, Diane. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lanesville. The apartment was beautiful, clean, updated and very comfortable. Diane was responsive and all details were handled easily. Everything one could need was available to us. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved the loft, it was so relaxing and in such a perfect location. We were close to downtown and were surrounded by beautiful walks, nearby beaches, and cute little businesses. Diane was an amazing host and made us feel so welcome. My husband and I hope to visit Gloucester again soon and will definitely look into staying here again the next time we come out! So glad we found this place!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Loft was clean, well decorated and had everything we needed for our week. The property manager was easy to communicate with when we needed it both before and during our stay.

Lovely unit that is nicely appointed and well stocked. Conveniently located. Unfortunately,. the tree over the deck now blocks the view of the water but otherwise a comfortable place to explore the Gloucester & Rockport areas.

Our 1 bedroom unit was just what we needed to explore Gloucester, Rockport and the surrounding areas. The accommodations were as described with easy access to restaurants, stores, beaches, boating, hiking, swimming and more. Lanes Cove is truly a gem as is this housing.

Diane was very responsive to issue that came up. Everything needed was provided for in the unit. Easy arrival and departure.

Our stay was lovely. Lots of things to do in the area. Any questions we had were immediately answered by our VRBO hostess. The locals were very friendly. Great atmosphere and town.

Hidden gem!!

We were lucky to rent The Loft during the heat wave in Boston. It was the best place ever - access to the Harbor for gorgeous sunsets, sitting on the back deck for a breezy meals, walking to the quarry for cool swims and easy access to the good Harbor Beach - our favorite. We had everything we needed at The Loft which had heat pump air splits for a cool environment. We are definitely coming back there

Being our third time at this loction, we are hoping a fourth visit is in our future in 2023. We love the charm and comfort of "The Loft" as well as its location.

The Loft was perfect for us. Stores and shops were close by and Plum Cove Beach is an easy walk. The unit is is cozy and very functional. Diane provides everything including beach chairs and floats. We will return next summer!

We had a lovely time staying at the Loft. It had a great location, updated apartment and very clean. Diane did a great job making sure we had a great time and that the property was working out for our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The Loft Apartment in Lanesville is a perfect location if you're spending time on Cape Ann. The apartment itself is very clean and in a great location. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is newly remodeled. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the balcony. It is very convenient to have the Cove Café (breakfast and lunch), the Post Office, and the Lanesville Package store (incidentals, ready made food, basic groceries, and of course beer/wine/liquor) just a few steps away. Diane was a breeze to communicate with from initial inquiry to checkout. Helpful detailed information about the property and the surrounding area is provided in a notebook. Don't miss a walk down to Lanes Cove (right around the corner) and you can take the Harvey Reservation trail back through the historic Lanesville Cemetery to Washington St. Plum Cove beach is a short walk down Washington St and Diane generously provides beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella for an enjoyable beach visit. We had a great experience at the Loft apartment and can only highly recommend it for a Cape Ann getaway.

The Host Diane was very responsive, before, and during. The place was perfect as was the location, parking, weather, etc. No issues made for a perfect much needed getaway.

My fiancé and I LOVED our stay. This is our 2nd consecutive year visiting Massachusetts, and have spent both times at The Loft at Lanes Cove. The space is perfect with a full kitchen, quaint living space and a balcony to relax. The Loft allowed us to come and go as we pleased to go out to Boston, Salem, Rockport, and other places to visit. Diane was responsive when we needed to talk to her :) we can’t wait to continue the tradition of staying at The Loft. This is a must see!

The Loft is a small and extremely cute place to stay and spend a relaxed vacation. The kitchen is well equipped and the location of The Loft is just great. Go eat at the Lobster Pool - lovely experience. We had during our stay 2 extremely hot days I wished we had a little A/C unit in the bedroom, for all other nights the fan was doing the job.We would most ertainly come back!!!

Sweet property. The location is great. Small but cozy and fully stocked with everything you might need. Diane was available for everything we needed. Only critical assessment - Mattress needs upgrading.

My wife and I really enjoyed our recent stay at The Loft. This place has such a nice location. We loved Plum Cove down the hill! Nice to have a Cafe and convenience store a few doors down.And the interior is so nicely designed with vaulted ceilings and wide plank flooring. We really felt 'at home'. Loved the back balcony too.The host was very easy to deal with via text communications.Definitely plan to return soon if we can find available times!
