The house was disgustingly dirty - Kitchen fridge had to be wipped down completely, ice cube disp. did not produce ice so we were constantly buying ice. / Bathrooms rust / mold & mildew; toliet brushed full of dirt and poop/ Bedroom; Mstbd doors would not close bedding was stained, bedroom closets completely disheveled; / Bedroom #2 Door wood not stay closed, closet completely disheveled; extra bedding thrown in hamper not sure if dirty or clean, prev. renters close left behind thrown on floor & shelves, garbage on floor / Bedroom #3 closets completely disheveled / Curtains through out stained / Ceiling fans covered in dirt / Practically no indoor lighting in bedrooms / BBQ Grill filthy dirty - had only 2 settings; off or high / Exterior; overgrown weeds ; because we were at end of cul de sac pretty much alot of debri ended up by us. If I could post pictures I would - I have tons. Its a shame people defination of Standard of cleaning is so disconnected. We made thee best of it - but would not rent here again. This has needs alot if TLC - its got potentially. When I vomplained to owner he responded with " I am sorry it doesnt meet your Standards" --

Overall, the stay was nice and the property was exactly as described.

We had a family getaway for my daughter's Sweet 16. The house was just perfect. Very spacious, quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. It was exactly what we were looking for. We loved every moment of our stay. We would love to rent the house again. I would definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay and everything was as stated in the description. Only change was a Keurig Machine for coffee rather than a coffee pot but we are a fan of Keurig. The owner was very accommodating allowing us to check in early on Friday in order to attend a afternoon cocktail get together on Friday.

This home sits right on the water and is in a quiet and peaceful location. Great access to LBI and waterways for boating and other water sports. Home is comfortable and everything was accessible. Great getaway spot!

It was a lovely week. Plenty of room and the decks are great. We had a great time. I might suggest a dresser or place for folded clothing. Maybe even in the closet. I met the owner Ken, really nice guy. I would stay here again.

What a great location - with decks all over - you can enjoy the view from every one. Easy access to the bay with dock in back, SUP board, kayak and great family-sized float. Then hop in the car for a 10-minute drive over to the island.

Overall had a great week down in Manahawkin at this rental home. There were 6 of us who stayed at the house. Bedrooms are big with a lot of closet space but no dressers. We would have preferred there to be more couch seating in the living area and also more kitchen supplies. We enjoyed using the water sports equipment on the lagoon including paddle board, kayak and tubes. We brought bikes and enjoyed riding around and exploring the neighborhood. Drive to the beach is about 10 mins, pretty easy to find parking each time we went. Recommend a trip to the Boatyard for drinks!

We had a wonderful stay for a weekend!! Great property

Everything was as listed. I didn’t give in a 5 because there is only a couch which fits 4 people. The living room has no chairs. So if you have more than 4 people , we are sitting at the counter trying to watch TV (football). No dish towels in the kitchen. The heat downstairs is not good. Very chilly. I would suggest renting only in the warm months.

Kenneth was very responsive and accommodating as this was my wedding weekend and he made sure this part of the weekend was stress free. The property is everything you want from a shore house experience. Highly recommend.

Property was exactly what we needed. Located 10 minutes from the Surf City Yacht Club. Tons of great restaurants and bars nearby. Very comfortable. Ken was extremely easy to communicate with. I didn't need him during my visit but judging by our communication before I arrived I have no doubt I could reach him instantly.

Loved this rental. Short 10-12 minute ride to lbi. Well equipped home with 4 different outside decks / patio. Also has an outdoor shower. Nice open floor plan. Some fruit flies but nothing terrible. Loved the huge kitchen and tons of storage for food. Has heavy duty Washer and dryer with detergent and fabric sheets. I would definitely pack extra towels, paper towels and toilet paper. We did and were fine. Has a Keurig machine but youb must bring your own coffee. Tons of pots and pans. Lastly, my husband loved the outdoor grill. The bay was quiet , beautiful and right in our backyard. Would stay here again.

The house was perfect and fit our needs. The property was clean and communication with Ken was a breeze. He was quick to respond and accurate in his responses / description of the property. The stand up paddle board and outdoor shower were awesome, as well! Thank you!

We stayed here 2yra ago-nice house-air conditioner worked this time-but seemed to be “remotely operated” as temperature setting changed -a bit “disconcerting”. Wasn’t given address - but overall GOOD.

We found this home to be spacious, comfortable, and clean. Having breakfast on the deck overlooking the quiet canal was a pleasant way to start the day. We spent our days at the beach, and it was an easy drive - sometimes a bit of traffic, but the distance is short enough that we never felt that to be much of an inconvenience. The kitchen is not overly well equipped. We kept or cooking fairly simply, and found for that the only thing really lacking was a couple of cutting boards. Bring your own beach towels, or do as we did and buy $3 towels at the nearby Walmart.

I wanted to take my daughter away before her wedding and found this house on VRBO. It exceeded all my expectations. We had the best time, the house was perfect and was so beautiful. The owner Ken got back to me immediately with any questions I had. Beach front properties were out of my price range so this house on the water (canal) was a wonderful option. I would definitely go back and rent this house again :)

Clean, spacious, great location, and great view.

We did enjoy the two days together, despite the fact that Friday was an absolutely miserable day. Saturday dawned a little brighter and a little sunnier. Your home is beautiful and the location great. I do have a suggestion, however, if you don't mind. Since we have stayed at other facilities in the past we always found alist of help aids for what is needed, e.g, what temperature should the thermostat be left at; what do we do with the linens and towels used; do we leave the garbage in the bins in the front of the house, etc. We did what we usually did at other places - left the linens on the washing machine; did put the garbage in the bin hoping that was the right thing to do since we didn't know the garbage pick-up schedule and left the thermostat at 60 degrees. I apologize if this is not what you expected. One small thing you should look into. We found ants on the kitchen counter with no food in sight. They might be coming in from an opening somewhere. And they were only on the counter. I should have begun by thanking you again for allowing us to stay a little longer on Saturday. We left by noon for a few had never been to Smithville Village so since the weather was so nice we spent a little time there. Our evening prayer and Saturday morning prayer ended our day and began another together. Again, thank you and blessings on you and your family andon all the guests that will use your home in the future.

Great place. Perfect Setting. Great atmosphere.

We arrived on Friday evening for a 4 night stay - and were dismayed to find the house at a temperature of 98 degrees. After alerting Kenneth, opening the windows and purchasing fans from the local Lowe’s, the temperature barely went down to 88. Over the next few days, the outdoor temperature dropped so open windows was bearable despite the high humidity, but on the 3rd day, the outdoor temperature increased again so the indoor temperature became stiflingly hot and unbearable, especially for our two young children so we had to leave a day early. We informed Kenneth that the AC was not working throughout the stay. We reached out to let Kenneth know we had to depart a day early - and he assured us that he would provide a refund, which he never followed up on. Overall, the property is in a great location outside of LBI, but very sparsely furnished.

My family was very pleased with the rental on 104 Catherine Lane in Stafford Township. The unit was clean and contained the amenities that were described. I would recommend this unit to others who are looking for a place off of LBI but still close enough to go to LBI or Atlantic City. Ken Nuzzi was very responsive with all my questions before the visit and when we first arrived.
