We had a wonderful stay visiting my son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and a 16 yr old. The only complaint is we didn't stay long enough! Next time we are in the area, we would love to stay again.

Right on the ocean and the view was wonderful. The residence was clean, comfortable and delightful. I would highly recommend to anyone.

We just finished a ladies get away at M&M Beach Oasis. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect beach house. Between the views and the gorgeous beach decor in every room we found something new to enjoy each day. We have already booked a longer stay for next November. I would highly recommend.

This rental is just awesome! What a view off the deck and from the comfort of the Lazyboy recliners in the living room through the large picture window! 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths with all the comforts of home. The oversized master bedroom with king size mattress was very comfortable, slep like a baby. Plenty of nice quality pillows provided. Kitchen is well stocked with all the things you might need. Our only issue was hurricane 🌀 Idalia which threw a wrench in our visit, but fortunately we were able to go back. Do not hesitate to rent this home we will be back!

Couldn’t have been a better family vacation. The house was amazing, the location was as good as it gets, and the views were spectacular. Plenty of comfortable space for our family and a well equipped kitchen for cooking fresh local seafood most nights. Walking out the back door and down the steps to a beautiful beach every day never got old, and the kids had a blast in the waves. Surfing was great, kids even caught their first waves, and I already miss sitting on the deck watching the ocean and the stars. Already booked for next year, can’t wait to go back!

we had a fabulous time. for seven of us it was small enough to feel cozy and comfortable but large enough that no one was feeling on top of each other. always had a perfect view of the ocean. tucked in from the road so it felt private.

This was such a wonderful home. Everything was so nice and clean. All of the furniture, appliances, cookware, and etc was all very nice and you could tell it was all high end and well taken care of. The location of the home was absolutely perfect. One of our favorites parts of the home was the wrap around deck. There was so plenty of nice patio furniture, beach supplies, and even an outdoor shower. We will be back asap!

I loved staying here! The house is awesome, has everything needed for a great week! I love that the living room chair swivels so you can look out the beautiful big window when you are tired of being outside. The driveway is so private feeling on a long row of very open houses. Absolutely love the well established landscaping. It can be a bit of a slide and a bit of a climb from the steps to the beach depending on how wet the sand is, but would only be an issue for someone elderly or with mobility issues I think. There is a rope that I think might be used to haul oneself back up, but I never felt the need to try that out. Lots of other houses up and down the beach had a similar stair setup. There was a large chest of children’s toys, as well as boogie boards and beach chairs! That is well appreciated to save packing space! Love the sink for washing shells and a very convenient hose for spraying off feet and chairs. Pro tip! The house is the first driveway on the left immediately past the 6 mile marker!

Very nice place. Nice area to visit for a relaxing getaway.

The house is perfectly located for the best sunrises and dolphin watching, No complaints about the house at all. The beds are very firm-we prefer softer but that’s just a personal preference. Perfect size for a family or friends getaway. Only downside is the natural erosion coming from the water. It has caused you to have to “hike” through the loose sand on the dune up and down to the steps. The owners have provided a nice long rope to help get yourself up to the steps. Definitely not a place for elderly/infirm/handicapped thug want to walk down to beach. But again…no fault of homeowner, just nature. Everything you could need was supplied in the kitchen and for that matter the house as well. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Our stay at Merrijo’s house was great. Excellent location and the layout of the house was perfect for two families. Will absolutely book again if we get the opportunity.

For our annual family beach vacation, this year we ended up at Merri Jo’s property and it worked perfectly for us. The house was as clean as any beach rental we have ever had, the location was ideal, and Merri Jo was easy to communicate with. The house is perfect for 6-10 guests and it had enough space while also feeling cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The dining space was big enough and worked well for us. The living room also had enough seating for us and room to relax. The beach and back deck are the best part of the house though. Looking down the beach there might not be a house with a shorter trek from the deck to the sand. You don’t have to go down 3 flights of stairs like many places, just 6 or 8 steps and you’re there. The deck had lots of loung chairs and high top tables that were not only comfortable but they didn’t get hot in the Sun. The outdoor shower + sink + hose setup was also perfect for washing off after the beach. The deck was also very large which made storing beach chairs and toys very easy. Also, they provided many beach toys which were in good condition and much cleaner than we had seen in past homes. We had a couple of unforeseen and non-preventable issues with the house that the owner remedied very quickly and very easily, so we really appreciated that as well. I would absolutely rent this home or any home of Merri Jo’s, as I know they are taken care of, in good condition, clean, and she is very easy to communicate with.

This house was perfect for our family of 6. Owners & property manager were very attentive to communication. Plenty of space so spread out. The living room and dining area were comfortable to seat us all together. Super clean. Well equipped kitchen & thoughtful extras for all our needs. The best part by far was the view & direct beach access. It rained almost everyday we were there but the storms were short and didn’t interrupt our fun for long. This was our first time staying in a beachfront house- definitely a game changer. We’ve rented a lot of houses using VRBO- this one is the best we’ve found. Will definitely book again when coming to Topsail!

Very Nice Property Great Vacation!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay for a week! We reluctantly came home yesterday after a great beach vacay at this beautiful property. Everything was extremely clean and the decor and comfortable furnishings were appreciated. The view from the large ocean facing windows was perfect! We very much enjoyed being able to have such a great view of the deck and ocean from the main living area. The joy of being at the ocean was always just a glance away. The comfortable recliners in the living room were in almost constant use while anyone was inside. We had a really low key relaxing time. We did a combination of eating out and ordering takeout because some days we just did not want to leave the beach house for very long. We stayed on the island or took short trips to the mainland portion of Surf City. Favorite places were The Daily Grind for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, Shaka Taco, Salty Turtle beer, Shuckin' Shack, and Surf City Line. There was so much to choose from it made it difficult to decide! A visit to The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehab center is a must! We learned a lot and everyone loved seeing the turtles. Buy tickets online before your trip because time slots are limited and they do fill up. We decided the beach house is in the perfect location on the island. It is a quieter area but really quick and convenient to all the food and shops in Surf City, even the ones across the bridge. We did drive up and down the island to check it out but really liked staying where we did. The hosts are easy to communicate with, very friendly, and the house is well cared for and so cute! This place is a gem. Just hanging out on the deck or the beach is hard to beat. One person in our group read 4 books and started a 5th during the week! Games were popular at night. We would love to stay again in the future!

Great location. Right on the beach. Nice bar height chairs with bar height table for two built on deck extension overlooking beach. Spent a lot of time there!!

We stayed here with my family, infant, and in laws. The minute you open the door, you see a beautiful view of the ocean through these amazing picture windows. We loved everything about the house--the generous deck, the bedrooms, the view from the dining table--and we are already planning a return trip

A truly relaxing experience in every sense. Walking the beach, hunting for shells and enjoying the views from the deck. There is no reason not to leave your problems behind and enjoy one of Surf City’s gems.

The property was immaculate upon arriving and spacious for our needs and the hosts were very accommodating and gracious. The house is cozy and well appointed and the deck is just awesome-the bump out with seating at the end of deck gives great views of the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in a second. Thank you!

We were so pleased with the house, the location and of it being everything it was advertised to be. Not only was the house beautiful, it was very clean and furniture was extremely comfortable!!! Communication with owner before arrival answered all our questions before we asked them. If I could describe the perfect rental experience, this would be it. There were restaurants and grocery stores within minutes of the place but it seemed as though we were just alone with the beach as our neighbor. I’ve already told my friends that this is “ THE PLACE “ to come to and I hope to visit there again!

Such a great place! Besides the awesome views, there’s a Well-stocked kitchen, (plenty of dishwater, pots, pans, etc.), comfy furniture, comfy beds, and everything else (closets have extra blankets, cabinets have board games and DVDs, vacuum cleaner, washer/dryer, etc.). We had a fabulous stay!

Spectacular views, clean house well decorated and perfect landscaping

We did not expect an ice storm and later snow in Surf City, but this home was perfect spot to hang out and watch the dolphins. Home had everything we needed and was better than advertised.
