I wouldn’t say my family had a terrible stay because the house does have a lot of amenities, however, the uncleanliness of the place really had us wishing we were home instead. As others have said, the view is absolutely breathtaking, but that didn’t make up for a visibly dingy sofa, walls, and past their prime bath towels. Additionally, it is difficult to understand the layout when looking at the listing’s photos. Upstairs there are two rooms with one full/queen bed in each. It feels misleading to say this house sleeps so many people. The lower level has about 5 full/queen beds between two separate areas that are all in very close proximity to each other. Maybe this is an incentive for some people, but potentially 10 people can sleep within that space—it just doesn’t seem ideal to sleep with that many people in such a small area. Overall, a deep cleaning would make a world of difference here and possibly create repeat visitors, but if you’re just here for the views, this is your place.

Walking into this home was like walking out on a cloud. The view is so wonderful. We had deer visit us each morning on their way thru looking for the best brunch. Location is equally great. All 5 of us enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Somewhat odd layout and needs a deep clean but the house has a fabulous view and accommodated our group well. The kitchen is well equipped and plenty of room.

In the area for a wedding. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and beautiful view as well as beach access nearby.

Our stay at Anna's was amazing. We walked in after a 13 hour drive and were immediately taken away by the view! There were a couple small issues with the cleanliness but she was responsive, accommodating and very kind. We absolutely loved the spaciousness, everybody had their own bed and space. With a group of 9 we were very thankful for the nice kitchen and large table. We drank coffee every morning on the deck and used the telescope one night to look at the moon. After traveling to nearby towns we were even more thankful we chose Rockaway to stay in. We were incredibly blessed by their home and the view! Thank you for sharing your space.

Had 2 - 1st generation, 5 second generation and 8 third generation there for 5 nights. Beautiful views, nice to have enough beds and bathrooms for all; loved every minute, and already have next summer booked for the second annual trip!

We loved staying here!! Great location and that deck view, you can’t beat it!! It is an older home but my teenagers thought it was so cool! Plenty of beds for everyone and we enjoyed the vinyl selection and even added to it. Kitchen had everything you needed and more. A larger garbage can would be nice but wasn’t a problem. The counters are tall which I loved. Plenty of bathroom towels and bed blankets . Appreciated the fans in every room. Great town, great beaches all around. We will be back for sure!! Especially for the price! Thanks Anna, for the help with the trash. Love, love, love!!!

Great place with lots of room, great views lots of things to do and see. Would stay there again

The view from this home is spectacular! And it is so conveniently located, close to everything Rockaway Beach has to offer as well as the rest of the Oregon Coast. We will definitely return! We would highly recommend.

WE WERE THERE FOR FRI AND SAT. THE HOUSE WAS PEFECT FOR US, THERE WERE 6 OF US AND 7 FULL BEDS, SO ALL HAD THEIR OWN. THE VIEW WAS EXCELLENT, HIGH ABOVE EVERYTHING. THE DIRECTION WERE VERY GOD BUT WE SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM FINDING THE STREET, BUT CAME IN MSTY LATE SO COULDN'T SEE SIGNS. FINALLY KNEW WHERE WE WERE GOING THE LAST DAY!! THE DRIVEWAY WAS KINDA SCARY AS NOT VERY WIDE AND ON A LOOP, PLUS IT RAINED, WAS MUDDY AND SO TRACTION WASN'T GREAT. BUT OVERALL IT WAS A GREAT TRIP!!!!

Very spacious. View was amazing and loved the deck.

This house was big enough for our 3 families. The kitchen is well appointed with all the things you need. Crock pot, blender, electric skillet, pots and pans, etc. they even have a selection of seasonings. We really appreciated all of that! We also loved having a vinyl collection to listen to.

Storms all week Power outages most of the week

With a group of buddies, we had a great trip to the coast, complete with fishing and crabbing. The house itself is perfectly equipped from kitchen to the grill. The view is exceptional and it’s super cozy. Would stay again!

It's a great vacation spot. We enjoyed our stay, every bit of it. The kids had a wonderful time together (plenty of board games, sky watch, amazing sunset view, etc...) we will for sure plan again

Amazing home to relax and family union together memories…

Our group had a great time at the Hilltop House. There were beds for everyone, the deck was huge and wonderful, and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only real cons were - More living room style seating would be nice for larger groups, a couple of the mattresses were a bit too firm, and several of the dining chairs need some TLC. That said, the house was fantastic and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our long weekend. Thank you for sharing your house!

Such an awesome place to stay. Very Clean and set up perfectly for our group! So happy we chose to stay here on our families vacation.

The hill house will WOW you with its view. We were a party of 7 female cousins, w/o our husbands, who some of us hadn’t seen each other for 15+ yrs. This house is well stocked-turntable record player, records popular (80’s) & a lot of classical. Puzzles & books too. Lots of room upstairs & downstairs. Furniture is very comfortable. We each had our own bed (7) & very happy for 3 bathrooms. We loved the beautiful deck & sat and watched the fog roll in or enjoyed the sun. It’s a 30 min walk to beach from house but most wanted to drive so not to walk back up hill to house. We spent 4 wonderful nights and really didn’t want to leave.

This is a wonderful place for adults who love to watch the ocean, don't need to walk on the beach and who don't mind traveling a bit to shop, get your toes wet in the ocean or just sit in the sand. The view is spectacular and there is plenty of room for a large gathering.

Had a wonderful time at this property. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the vicinity..! Absolutely stunning views..! House was well stocked, and very spacious. Plenty of room for our party. I would recommend putting a little money into the master bathroom.. and move the bbq to the upstairs balcony..! Other than that look forward to next year.!

Wow, what a nice house for a little family vacation! Everything we could have needed was there and more. The location was wonderful, full sunsets and beach as far as the eye could see. Kitchen amenities were perfect. The whole family enjoyed all areas of the home. Can’t wait to come back again. This place was really cozy and beautiful our family enjoyed our stay! Even with the rain we went to the beach which was close by. As stated everything was well stocked in the house. We would love to come back and stay here again!

It was amazing staying at the hilltop house. We had so much fun and it was super relaxing. The weather didn’t stop us from having fun with the variety of games that were provided. Defiantly a home away from home.

It has stunning view of the ocean from the inside and out. Great place to stay. We would stay there again.

This was our 3rd time here. The power went out our last night, due to a big storm. So bring flashlights just in case. We had a great time around the campfire (flashlights) in the living room. Thankfully every bed has a great comforter. There are beds for everyone. Still wish 2 of the beds weren’t so hard. Perhaps pad them more. Beautiful view from up the hill. With the ice, the last small hill took us a while to make it up there. It was the first time we have ever had snow at the ocean. All in all it was a great visit.

We have been Oregonians for almost 35 years and have stayed in so many places. Our group of five has voted this property as the best. Everything was perfect from cleanliness to amenities. The view was incredible.

Because of airline delays, we had to arrive after dark. That was sketchy because of the house numbers being out of order, and no light at top of stairs. Once I found it with my phone light, the door opening was great and I got the girls all down the stairs. We really like the house, so comfortable. GREAT VIEW! We had a really great time, and hope we got enough of the house picked up that it wasn't too hard on housekeeper. Thanks Anna.

Arrived at Rockaway Beach Sept 10th The day was gorgeous. We had 6 of us and the place was wonderful Each of us had our own bed and two to a bathroom. But the best part about this hill top jewel is the magnificent view Panoramic for as far as you can see WOW!!!! We had zero issues and Anna, the owner was great to correspond with. The home was stocked with all the kitchen gadgets and games plus outdoor chairs and tables It was all there!!! Also we had great days every day which is not common for the coast . We will be back .. Great trip!!!
