Book if you are not looking for amenities to be working. This thing just had one thing after another, hot tub doesn't work, dishwasher doesn't work, running toilet, twin beds are short and the supports seem broken. This place needs a lot of work.

Spent the weekend in this beautiful home and I must say it was a great time. The house was very clean and stocked with pretty much everything needed.plenty of room for everyone to move around, very quiet and peaceful with lots of fresh air and the sound nature. We went on a few hiking trails that were very close to the lake to view the sunset and sunrise. If you’re looking for a beautiful time away this is the place !!!

This house was great. It was spacious enough and well cared for. The open floor plan upstairs was perfect for us to enjoy our family time.

We were a group of 5 couples and the house was plenty big and had a lot of charm. We loved being able to walk to the private beach. The living area was large and perfect for our group to hang out at night and we also loved the hot tub. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The grill did not heat up to a high enough temperature to cook food, so on our last night when we had planned to grill we had to make all of the food in the kitchen. The kitchen is not very well stocked or organized. Clean sheets were not left out for the pull-out sofa bed. We found some sheets in a closet and when we opened them up a bunch of sand fell out. Luckily we were able to find another pair of sheets in a different closet and wash and dry them before we went to bed the first night. The cleaning was not great. It is clear the cleaners do not clean underneath any furniture or rugs. We lifted up the rug in the hot tub room to clean up some water, and it was absolutely filthy. There were also dust bunnies and random items underneath furniture indicating they did not bother to clean underneath them. Overall, we were satisfied with our vacation and the service from Vacasa and would rent with them again.

This space was perfect for our group of 10. The place is a little dated and could benefit from some upgrades but it’s super comfortable and a great location.

Love the Skyland community and access to the private beach. The house is large and accommodating. Some of the plugs/lamps didn't work but we were able to make it work for our needs. The spa was fun to have but it filled the house with a chlorine smell. Was better when you keep the door to that space closed. The screen doors are odd - only one side so I think some bugs got in but the kitchen, couches and deck were lovely. No hammock like the photos showed which disappointed one of our kids. Also would be nice to include a binder with restaurant suggestions, a map to the beach, WiFi info and instructions on how to access Netflix, etc. I missed the email that came while I was traveling that explained WiFi. Just seems like that info should have been displayed at the property. Regarding Netflix, we had to plug in our computer and screen mirror because I don't think the main TV offered it. Also wasn't a fan of checking in a distance away from the property. Would have been nice to have everything available upon arrival at the house but I understand contracts had to be signed. Owners definitely love dogs which is great. Loved all the dog-loving sayings. Sad about the rule of up to 3 dogs only 30 lbs each rather than 1 60 lb dog. We couldn't bring ours because of that which didn't make sense to me. Also frustrated that there was no flexibility for early check-in or late check-out but I understand management is limited by staffing conditions. Haven't decided if we will stay there again or not but it was nice for the 4 days we were there! Thank you.

Home was spacious and clean

We rent cabins around lake Tahoe for last 35 years. we never had these bad experience as we had on this house. House smell really bad, full of dog's hair, not clean at all, the electric outlets don't works in bathrooms and most of the area. The balcony is broken and beams are sagging down. Balcony railings were broken and not safe. Jacuzzi wont work and water never get warm. refrigerator ice maker never works. House smell like smell of sewer. I don't recommend no one use this house unless all these unsafe issues to be taking care with city permit and pass the inspections. Balcony off the kitchen and living room is very unsafe.

The house is in a great location, nice walk to the lake, near to market, etc. It was clean, check-in easy. As previous reviews stated house needs brighter light bulbs, so dark once sun goes down! Only one garage door worked, bathtub had no stopper - these things need to be fixed to get to 5 stars!

The primary reason for us to book this location was for the indoor hot tub. When we arrived, hot tub was cold 54 degrees. Spoke to property manager, they stated that hot tub had to be drained and cleaned prior to our arrival. Property manager also said it would take 6-8 hours to get warm with not further instructions. After 2 days, hot tub reached 60 degrees. This time of year in Tahoe is cold, so we purposely booked a location with a hot tub, my family and I were very disappointed.

The property is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Plenty of dishes, kitchen equipment, and small appliances. Every room has additional bedding to accommodate all of your guests. Vacasa support is quick to respond to inquiries and arrange maintenance/support as necessary. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Parking is ample and we had no issues. There is a Safeway grocery store and multiple restaurants 5 minutes up the road which made small shopping runs quick and easy. We were even able to access a branch of our gym in Zephyr Cove - which made indulgent vacation eating "easier to swallow" :D I highly recommend Vacasa and this property - all around an excellent vacation experience for my family.

What a Gem! This place was fantastic for our Friendsgiving. Wonderfully set up, great hot tub, easy access to private beach, huge kitchen. All amenities were as per the listing.

Will definitely return in the future.

This home was comfortable and well located.

I was surprised on how outdated this property is, hard to realize it by the pictures. Although every appliance worked, I’m guessing some upgrades would even probably pay for themselves in short order. The balcony’s are in serious need of attention

The house is very spacious and can hold multiple families. It has the essential in the house. It easy to check in and out. One thing that can be fixed is the carpet by the kitchen area. There are nails that needs to be hammer down. I believe the previous posts mentioned that as well. We had to put something on top it so that the kids doesn’t hurt themselves. Overall, it is great.

Loved the house

We loved this home for our multi family getaway! Home is rustic, cozy, spacious and perfect for our group. It has access to a nice private community beach that is great for kids. The neighborhood is charming & Idyllic. My only complaint is the carpet needs immediate attention. My son got a deep cut on his foot from an exposed nail in the worn down carpet near the kitchen. This is a safety concern and also mentioned in previous reviews but has not been corrected. Otherwise, it was a lovely home that was well stocked with propane for the grill, extra blankets and pillows.

We gathered all of our kids and their spouses for a week of summer fun together. The house was just perfect! Large enough that everyone could have some alone time, but we were able to cook and eat together, play games and do craft projects. All the rooms were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and the beach was very nice. There was plenty to do in the area. We would absolutely come back!

loacation and access to private beach is great! Poor communication regarding access to beach chairs(located on last day). Many dead, dehydrated moths in light fixtures; including over kitchen table. A little updating and deep cleaning would go a long way

Amenities and location of this house is excellent. EXCEPT this house is not well maintained. There are other reviews mentioning about the stained carpet which has yet to be cleaned/replaced as stated it would be by Vacasa. Some of their bedding was stained upon arrival, the dishes were ALL dirty and some were even still greasy. The lightening in the kitchen is too dim which made cooking dinner and eating at night a hassle. But the biggest issue is that this house has exposed nail tips sticking up from the floor boards at the entry way to the kitchen where the carpet is damaged and missing. 2 people during my stay stepped on the nails and cut their foot. This NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP! It's a health and safety issue and the displayed rental permit that is on the fridge was expired. Overall we had a good trip but these major issues and the fact that it was stated in review replies that it would be fixed and hasn't yet been addressed will make us no longer rent via Vacasa.

Was perfect for our family gathering. Had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed this vacation home. Large open spaces gave our large group room to spread out and relax.

Spent a week here with a large group of family. Great location, lots of space!

The place was great. The garage doors were broken so we weren't able to park our cars indoor... The cabin overall could use a little more lighting in the room and bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to any large group. Convenient location.
