We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Big Sky. The location and house were prefect for our family. We even saw a moose! Hope to go back again!

Our family group had a great stay at this nicely appointed home in the town center of Big Sky. The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a great jumping off point for adventures to Big sky resort and Yellowstone. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Overall we had a very good experience, but a few items of note...1) there is no AC and yes the listing does say this, but during our stay the house got very warm during the day and did not cool off until the early morning hours, so it's a little uncomfortable for sleeping in the upstairs bedrooms (only two of the bedrooms had plug-in fans) and 2) the loft bedroom above the garage is only accessible by a narrow spiral staircase that can be accessed only through the garage, this could be problematic for older folks and is generally a bit inconvenient, it's really only a good bedroom for kids. Again, these are not showstoppers, but just things to be aware of, overall we had a positive stay.

We loved the home and would stay here again. House was well equipped with supplies. Nice walk to town center.

This home was in a phenomenal location and super convenient to everything an out-of-towner would need. The owners were lightning fast in their responses and efforts to help with any issues. Should our group ever return to Big Sky for another ski trip, we would definitely be considering this property again.

Loved the house we stayed in. 15 min from big sky resort and 1 min drive to town! Phil was incredibly responsive. Home was clean, well furnished and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great overall. 9 adults, 1 child stayed comfortably. Would recommend this spot. Great communication throughout with prop owners. Neighborhood is great. We shared our leftover unused food/drink items with a couple neighbors prior to leaving. Great time all around.

We were a little surprised by the lack of close accessibility of one of the bedrooms to a bathroom but other than that, this property certainly met our needs.

House is great for a large party - we fit 10 adults comfortably. Has all of the basic things you will need for a long week/weekend getaway. Really enjoyed the hot tub and proximity to town. Host was extremely responsive when we had a question during check in...would definitely stay here again.

We joined with relatives (11 people total) for a get together here and it was a wonderful place to stay! The kids loved the bunk bed room and the room over the garage was perfect for the teens. We had a couple of minor questions that were answered within minutes by email, but overall we didn't have any issues during our stay! We enjoyed watching the robins that were nesting in the eaves of the front porch and the hot tub was a hit with the kids. Perfect location - super close to town! Our only challenge was the foldout-couch, which was definitely lacking in the comfort department - all metal and bars. But we pulled an extra comforter from one of the bunks and used it as padding on the foldout mattress, which was an improvement. Overall it was a terrific home and we would love to return!

We had a great stay in Big Sky. The house was a perfect home base for our travels. The house was perfect and had everything we could need and more. Highly recommend!

Check in was easy...great location....really clean.

This house may look small from the outside but had absolutely everything we needed and more for my group of six skiers. Nice kitchen, hot tub, laundry, big garage, and in-floor heating. Close to local grocery and dining, and a short drive to the ski area. Property owners were great and quick with communications. Overall great value, and I'll definitely look to book here again when we come back to Big Sky.

This was a great place to stay for our Big Sky ski trip crew of 7 adults. Everyone had plenty of room. Access to the mountain, groceries and night life was convenient as well. The communication with Phil was excellent, proactive and very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is in a fantastic location in walking distance to the Big Sky town center. The homeowner was quick to reply and helpful with any needs or questions during our stay. One thing to note is the one bedroom is in a loft over the connect bedroom with a spiral staircase up that can be a little tough to navigate up and down, especially with luggage. Otherwise though the house had everything we needed; the hot tub was a great view, kitchen had the supplies we needed, and the mountain for skiing was a short drive. Thanks!

Nice house in a good location for the ski trip that we took as a family. We had trouble at check in and the manager doesn't regularly check his phone. The key box info we received for access to the house was not accurate and we couldn't get into the house. We would have had to find alternative accommodations for a party of 7 at 10:30 pm had one of us not been able to get into the house through a small dog door.

We stayed for two weeks in the summer and had a wonderful time! The location is in “town,” not on the mountain, which was great. There is a small park 3 blocks away, easy to walk to town, access local hikes. The layout of the house is very family friendly. We have 4 young kids and the basement provided plenty of play room. The fenced in backyard provided great outdoor space too. We absolutely loved Big Sky, and this house made our stay easy, comfortable and unforgettable. We would highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at Philip and Caitlyn’s. The place was clean w plenty of space for our group. A quick walk into town even when it was dumping. Had a blast in Big Sky and would definitely rent from them again.

Our family had a great stay in Big Sky. The house was cozy and a good size to accommodate our group of 10 very comfortably. The location is great - walking distance into town to the shops and restaurants. The hot tub was nice and hot to soothe sore muscles after daily activities. Phil responded quickly to our questions and had a lot of useful information about the area available at the house.

The house is in a central part of town, walkable to restaurants and grocery store. The house has a big master bedroom upstairs, a comfortable room with a double bed downstairs, and a room with twin beds over the garage. There is a spiral staircase to that bedroom, and no bathroom in the bedroom, so not ideal for older guests or young kids. The other bedroom has 4 bunk beds. (There is a sofa pull out that is fine for kids, but not for adults). The foosball table was a hit with the kids, and the hot tub was a hit with the adults. Hosts were very responsive!

The property is wonderfully located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to shopping and outdoor adventures. The house layout makes it easy to accommodate a large group with gathering and private areas. Kitchen is well stocked to make cooking a breeze!

Big sky is unmatched in views and activities and this house was the icing on the cake. It had all we needed and more with plenty of space and an amazing neighborhood setting. The first morning we woke up to the backyard view filled with hot air balloons. Simply spectacular. We also hiked to a nearby waterfall, walked to an amphitheater concert and socialized with neighbors in the cul de sac. The front porch is a great spot to relax. A major issue for us at other VRBO’s is always kitchenware and especially knives. We did not have that issue at cold smoke lodge! Well equipped and beautiful house. Big sky is a can’t miss vacation and this house is the perfect way t i do it. We will be back. Thanks Caitlyn and Phillip!
