I have found this wonderful the Historic Hershey Cabin when I was searching for a place for myself for retreat. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in this special cabin. First of all, this unique cabin is the best for a single traveler or for a couple who look for a romantic getaway or just a retreat in the forest. The owner Paul and his wife literally thought every details you might need during your stay. Everything was 10 out of ten for me. I will definitely will stay in this place. Thank you Paul for creating and sharing this amazing place with us.

Very clean and quiet, perfect for those who need real peace in the forest

It was very relaxing. It was so quiet. It was a quiet time in Lake Arrowhead also. We felt so at ease, and you can enjoy the moment with nature. We went out on the porch and took in the cool sunshine and the smell of the pine trees. We played a couple of games and listened to music. Everyone should do this.

Cabin was nice and cosy with good access to lots of local places to explore. Would definitely recommend the deep creek hot springs hike for those seeking adventure.

Loved the cabin. Spent most of weekend hanging out and playing games around the fireplace. Very cozy cabin. Perfect size for a couple. Close to everything. Was a chilly weekend in Arrowhead, but the cabin was very warm. Loved the heated mattress. Will be back.

We came up hoping for a little snow, well we got 9 inches and in the cabin for three days straight. Couldn’t of picked a better place to be snowed in. Come stay at this wonderful cabin.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nite get-away in this lovely historical cabin where the hard work and pride in the renovation of the property shows at every level. Loved waking up feeling like we were in a treehouse with views of only trees around us and during the evening we were very comfy in the living area in front of the fireplace. The kitchen was well appointed and instructions to all amenities were readily available, easy to follow and communication with the host as great. Location was perfect, not far from the lake and village as well as Skyforest and Blue Jay. We will definitely be back again when the weather is warmer and we are able to take advantage of hiking nearby and lake activities.

We loved our stay at the Hershey Cabin. It was adorable, cozy and immaculate. They had every amenity that you could possibly need from coffee to nice towels to beautiful dishes and glassware and a dishwasher, washer and dryer and fireplace. We would definitely like to stay again.

We came for a 3 day getaway and a wedding. It is gorgeous cabin that is a jewel in the mountains. When looking out the windows, it feels like you are in a cozy treehouse. It is decorated beautifully and has every amenity you could possibly want or need.

We enjoyed how clean and relaxing the trip was. The cabin is perfect for a quick getaway.

Overall we loved this property. The cabin is very classic yet updated and well appointed. It's a great little escape from the hectic world we live in. All of the woodwork makes you feel like you are in a cabin in the woods, which you are so it's perfect. :-) The kitchen and bath were well equipped. The living room was cozy and comfy. The bedroom was nice and looking through the windows you felt you were in a treehouse up in the trees. The room did get a little bright in the morning for my wife as she must have thin eyelids. :-) I didn't mind. They do call that out in the listing and told us to bring eye coverings if we were bothered by morning light. The surrounding areas is very quite and peaceful. We saw a coyote wander through the property on the first night and what I believe was a small bobcat on the second night. Nature at it's finest. :-) The cabin is fairly close to the main village, maybe 1.5 miles or so, but it's not what I would call walking distance because of the steep slopes and narrow roads. Driving in Lake Arrowhead is interesting because the roads are pretty narrow with lots of hairpin turns and blind intersections. I cannot image driving around here in the winter with snow on the ground, but I can imagine it is beautiful. To summarize, the cabin is great. The owners are great. The location is great. Lake Arrowhead is great. The roads are paved. :-)

The cabin was cozy and charming. Just what we were looking for. The instructions to use the amenities were complete and easy to understand. Description of cabin was right on as posted.

This beautifully restored cabin for two was state of the art! Warm & tasteful furnishings, comfy bed (could have used 2 extra pillows & luggage rack) loved the smart TV and variety of games. Kitchen had nearly everything we needed (except sharp knives, measuring cup & spoons). No outdoor BBQ, but wrap around deck was great, only disturbed by loud music from red house in back). Not much room for belongings in the bathroom, but the vanity area more than made up for it! Great location, close to Village & market. Thanks for having the National Forest Adventure Pass handy for parking at the Heaps Peak Arboretum hike. Riding the Queen was a must! Wine tasting in Crestline by appointment at Sycamore Ranch was wonderful. Weather was perfect, in the 70's, not crowded after Labor Day, people so friendly. Really relaxed and unwound during our 6 days at the Hershey cabin. Would love to come back!

This is a very special cabin, the attention to detail is amazing! Very relaxing, quaint and comfortable,,,,, we enjoyed very much,,,,, the village and the surrounding areas very nice ,,,,, it is truly a home away from home

Very comfortable and very well appointed cabin for two. Clean, terrific kitchen--small but everything you need. Comfortable bed. Great area. Sat on the deck among the trees morning and night. Very responsive host. You will relax. Lake Arrowhead town center is just a few miles away with good restaurants, a Stater Bros. grocery, and the lake is lovely. We will return.

The place was immaculate and charming. After a day on the Lake via tour boat and having dinner in the village we enjoyed the rest of the evening in the cabin. We like to play chess and were delighted when we found the chess game since we forgot ours. You couldn't ask for a better view of the stars right from the bedroom. And morning coffee and muffins from the balcony and listening to nature, peace and tranquility was all we needed. Thank you both!!

We were very happy with our stay.

Everything supplied and in the home was first class, and so beautiful. Great instructions on using everything, and owner response to questions was quick. It is just a beautifully decorated home with great balconies. It also has a great central A/C.
