We loved the house. Our host thought of everything from buttercreamy soft sheets to a box of first aid supplies. There were coloring books, good DVDs, plenty of towels, kitchen equipment and so on. The pictures are current and accurate. Our host gave clear and easy instructions. Would happily stay here again.

Owner was very prompt when responding to email. House had everything we needed for cooking. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Quiet neighborhood. We met the neighbors across the street, they are gold, everyone should have a neighbor like these two. Big yard. We didn’t use it but available is a deck, picnic table and grill/smoker.
We would stay here again.

This home was a beautiful old home with vintage decor. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was back in my childhood at my Grannny and Papa’s home😍Very clean and actually very peaceful being that it’s in a neighborhood. Everything in the home that we needed to make a great stay. Cotter is a beautiful place I 10/10 recommend this beautiful home and a visit to Cotter.

Me and my friend stayed here during our girls trip. It was an adorable little town with so much to do down by the water. It’s also not far from the Buffalo river. Everything was clean and very accommodating!

Ok last minute find
I booked this trip last minute and for the price could have found something else. The house is old and does have a lot of charm, but also a lot of potential. Is in a good location and has a washer and dryer. The furniture is vintage, but in good shape, and just hard to relax on. There are areas of drywall cut out and covered with fabric. Grill is a smoker that has a missing handle and char from lid fell onto food upon closing. Drawer with pot holder had mouse droppings in it and the door to the basement left wide open and locked sitting off to the side. Check in was at noon, arrived shortly after 1pm, and had to call to receive code for door as was not emailed as stated it would be

Small Town feel
Very quiet area, we had 2 dogs that I had to walk several times a day. We would walk to downtown Cotter and to the white river walk in where the dogs would swim. Plenty of grassy areas for the dogs. Everybody was so friendly and Becky at the Post Office was a big help with us getting our mail (and always had a cookie for the dogs)

Great small town get-away!
This house was definitely a pleasant surprise! It is much bigger than the pictures show, is very very clean, and the rooms are newly painted in beautiful colors. Lots of antique furniture and comfortable beds helped us to relax and enjoy our stay. There were plenty of dishes for any type of cooking that we wanted to do, and the sunroom was amazing for sitting out early in the mornings with a cup of coffee.

Lovely cabin in Cotter
Lovely, cozy cabin in Cotter. Close to everything we wanted or needed. Made for a great base during the weekend of my mothers funeral. No contact check-in and check-out made for smooth arrival and departure.

This home had everything we needed for our stay. It was very comfortable and spacious the neighborhood is quiet. Great location and value for the money. The books and games were an added bonus. Sunroom is lovely. Full washer and dryer were helpful.

Delightful getaway
We came to the area for the White River Marathon. The cabin is perfect! Great location, clean and well furnished, and in a beautiful part of the state. I highly recommend it and hope to come back again.

Family Getaway
Our family needed a place to stay on short notice to visit my oldest son and daughter-in-law in nearby Mountain Home. We were able to gather in the back dining/sunroom area, living room and outside back deck. This is an older house, but has had many updates including newer appliances. The property is in a very small, quiet town near the White River. Very quiet and peaceful (although the noon "whistle" was a surprise. : ). The house is more spacious than it appears in the photos. There is a nice back yard area as well. We used the house as home base for our float trips and hikes around the area. Really appreciated how the owner worked with us on such short notice to accommodate our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Quaint home
Overall our stay was pleasant. The owner was flexible with check-in and out. It was dog friendly and there were toys for my kids to play with, which they really enjoyed. Unfortunately, it did not appear a walk through had been completed prior to us checking in. There were dead ants all over the kitchen sink and counters and there was an ant trap up with the dishes. There were dirty towels already in the hamper and an empty soap dispenser in the bathroom.

Great quiet place for 3 old friends to stay and fish. Have my own boat and there was plenty of space to park it. Easy access to Cotter ramp. House is completely stocked with utensils and kitchen amenities. No reason I wouldn't stay again.

Perfect place to stay to concentrate on Fishing!
Nice home that fills all the basic needs to enjoy a fishing trip. Bring your food, clothes and fishing gear and you will be set. We spent 30 days and enjoyed every minute of it.

Supremely comfortable
I am so grateful for the opportunity to stay in this home with my family. We needed a short term rental due to the move associated with taking a new job and this house was exactly what we needed.
The house is wonderful and it has everything I could have possibly thought of to be comfortable. There were times I would think of something I needed, then look in a corner or a closet and there it was! The owner clearly has put remarkable levels of thought and care into making this a comfortable place for living.
We had one problem while we were there and it was resolved the same day. The owner contacted a fast and competent repair person and it was handled! Fantastic!
I cannot recommend this home highly enough. It was exactly what we needed, when we needed it, with no muss and no fuss.

Straight-forward and simple
We were looking for a house to stay while we fished each day in the area. This worked out great. Great location in the middle of all of the fishing areas. Very near to a breakfast diner. No complaints at all.
