We had a great week fishing. The house was perfect for our family including a 2 and 4 year old. The yard and dock were very safe for the little ones and a there was a great park in walking distance for them. The lake was awesome for fishing. Thanks for everything Dixie, You are a great host. We will definitely see you again.

We were looking for a comfortable and relaxing place for just a couple days and Dixie’s home was perfect for us. We wish our schedule allowed a few more days so we could enjoy it more! Dixie was beyond helpful, friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. It was a wonderful sanctuary for us. The little thoughtful and friendly details made us feel very welcome and even my teens were commenting on how nice and well done the home is. Being able to relax on the deck overlooking the canal with a cup of coffee was priceless.

The house was perfect, a 4 minute trip to the boat ramp. The owners were absolutely super accommodating and even had fresh baked cookies waiting for us. I couldn’t be more happy with our stay.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. The host Dixie was incredible and even left us cookies upon arrival. There was a boat docking area for our Pontoon boat with plenty of room for even a second boat. The canal was a direct access to the Lake Harris chain. Our family had plenty of room for parking as well. Thank you Dixie for sharing your lovely property!

This property had everything we were looking for. It was just the right size for our family, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we even used the dock for a pontoon boat we rented one day. Dixie was super helpful and communicative! We will definitely be back!

We decided to take a staycation for our 40th anniversary and chose to stay here. Everything was beyond our expectations! First Dixie was so gracious and made sure our stay was comfortable and what we expected. The house is close to the lake on a canal connecting to the lake. It’s so quiet and peaceful! We are planning to return again soon!

This is on the water with a dock. Very unique. Because it is likely lived in, there are a lot more things provided than a condo-type. There’s a lot of personality. A little far from Orlando, but bearable.

The house was perfectly located for us to enjoy our stay in Leesburg. (We were attending a family wedding and going to local restaurants.) The house was clean and had all the things we needed. Would definitely stay again!!

Vacationed at this property with my family for one week. We had an amazing time here at this house. This house is well-appointed and provided everything we needed and more. Location is perfect with parks within walking distance, Orlando just a short drive away and of course world-class bass fishing on Lake Harris. The property owner, Dixie, is very nice and attentive with communication being seamless. She even had fresh cookies and a welcome note for us upon arrival! Very easy and nice clean place

We enjoyed this beautiful house for a work weekend we had in a close town. The host was very communicative, and super sweet, and made us feel very welcomed. The beds were very comfortable and the house was roomy and spacious. The outside is beautiful with the dock right on the water. Great stay!

We were in town for a HS State Championship competition. This property gave us the perfect accommodations to rest and recharge between matches. The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Absolutely amazing

This property, on the canal, was an escape from our busy lives. It gave me an opportunity to visit my parents outside on a beautiful deck. My husband and son were able to fish off the boat dock. This home had everything you would need and Dixie was very accommodating !

location was absolutely perfect for bass fishermen. house was very clean and extremely functional. dock was an added benefit, as we did not need to remove the boat each day. neighborhood seemed very nice and safe. dixie(host) was always in touch and available if needed, which we did not need anything, but she was available. if we get to come back to leesburg, we will definitely rent this place.

House has a dock that can hold 5 bass boats tied to it ! Has parking for 4 bass rigs and trucks in drive way ! Has beds for 6 people ! Is a great Place to stay on Lake Harris especially for a tournament fisherman as close to marina with gas and launch ramps !

Great property

This was our second stay and we already have booked again for next year. The house fits our needs perfectly for daily walks, frequent boating. It is very well equipped. Landlords have been very kind and responsive to our needs. They also invited us on a boating ride. Highly recommendable!

My entire family of 6 came to stay with Dixie at this home. She made sure we were comfortable from the time we came in the front door. She even made sure to have a pack-n-play ready for my daughter (with the cutest little alligator) so I didn't have to worry. She checked in on us throughout the day of arrival and during our stay. We are so thankful this is the relaxing home where we could stay during our visit.

Very nice house! Everything is super clean. The kitchen has everything you'd want. The beds are very comfortable. The deck and balcony are real treats. The channel attracts many birds. Leesburg is not "touristy" but there are many attractions for day trips. Great location! Dixie is a super hostess! I would definitely love to return.

Arrived to find "Host Dixie" waiting with a welcoming smile, keys, WiFi password, and homemade cookies! She took some time to share some local information and restaurant suggestions then she was out the door saying: "Call anytime if you need anything." Every room was well furnished and decorated. The beds (which can make or break a stay) were especially comfortable. Great towels and linens and the kitchen lacked nothing. This canal neighborhood is quiet and safe for walking day or night. Access to the Harris chain of lakes is right at your dock and the many fishing tournaments means canal life is never boring. Downtown Leesburg is quaint with something for everyone. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Orlando, the Villages, Mt. Dora, and other parks and recreational opportunities are not far. Dixie knew I had recently lost my husband. On Valentine's Day she extended an invitation for a boat ride and barbecue with some of her family. Her thoughtfulness and genuine caring personality made my stay there most enjoyable. Reservations already made for next year.

We rented this waterfront home for Thanksgiving weekend for our family. Has every amenity you will need for your stay. Quiet street, nice view with outside space for eating and relaxing. Owner was great to work with and I know you will be pleased with the accommodations. Plenty of room for everyone!
