The property was exactly as described. Everything was amazing.

This house was excellent. We all loved it. It was nicer than advertised and shown in the pictures. Everything looked recently updated, and was immaculate. The house was nicely decorated and furnished and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was so quiet and peaceful. Not a lot of boat traffic or noise in this northern most part of the lake. We fished from the dock, enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, and also utilized the dock for a pontoon boat rental from Snug Harbor which is almost visible from the house. I just wish we had booked a longer stay. There was a Super Walmart only about 5 min away which was very convenient. The owner was also very friendly and quick to respond. We hope to be back next summer, and will definitely stay longer.

The cottage (more so a complete home) was beautiful and very comfortable. Great location on the lake - peaceful and serene. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. I have been enjoying Lake George for 47 of my 48 years and this was one of the best stays there ever!

We had a great stay. Erin's home was clean and comfortable with a nice firepit, kayaks and other amenities. We were looking for a nice place to relax on the water and we found it. I would highly recommend.

The house is as nice as shown - very clean, great location, nicely equipped for a comfortable stay. Just two of us, so lots of the space did not get used, but it could easily handle a family or friends. TV and big couch in the basement, so there are effectively two living spaces. Too cool for water activities, but the canoes and kayaks were right there and PFDs of every size in the basement. Lots of time in front of the fireplace, a couple of afternoon breaks in the chairs on the lawn watching the lake.

This property was perfect and beautiful. The house was pristine and it had all the amenities. The lake was so peaceful and beautiful. The owner of the property was so nice to deal with and responded quickly to any questions I had. I will definitely go back.

Even though the weather wasn’t the best .. we managed long walk, some great hiking and daily paddles on the lake. The back deck with comfy chairs and glider were used each day also. Just a lovely getaway for 4 friends!

This was our first visit to the Lake George/Champlain area, and Carolyn’s Cottage was the perfect “base camp”. Everything we wanted to see and do was well within driving distance. The house was spotless (thanks to Shauna!), the setting was beautiful, and the neighbors and neighborhood were very quiet. Erin and Shauna both responded quickly when we had questions - thanks so much! We would definitely stay there again.

Very easy to rent.

We had a great time staying at Carolyn’s Cottage. Erin was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The bonus room downstairs was a great surprise and my Son especially enjoyed the space to watch tv. We enjoyed canoeing in the lake and the kids even caught a few fish. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Quiet part of lake perfect for a relaxing time. Close to marina to launch boat, area beaches and attractions. Definitely a place we would love to return to! Had a minor issue with an appliance and owner was very responsive and we got it all worked out- so no worries when staying here about anything you may need.

This is our third year back and we already booked year 4! This is the PERFECT spot for a quiet, peaceful, rejuvenating lake vacation! Erin is WONDERFUL to work with and we have never had ANY issues! Can’t WAIT until next year already! ☺️

The description was accurate on Vrbo. It’s a quiet area on a quiet part of Lake George. Close to town. Nice dock. Clean and up to date. We were very happy with everything!

Just a phenomenal experience with the owner. I am in the army and I booked this property over a year prior. Then I got deployment orders. The owner corresponded to my wife all the time. The property- according to my wife- was immaculate and extremely comfortable. My wife especially enjoyed watching sunsets from the back deck.

The place was spotless, with new appliances and newly remodeled rooms. Quiet neighborhood. Nice firepit outside to enjoy the moonlight. Had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well equipped and updated nicely. The lakefront dock, kayaks and the fire pit were used often. There’s also a bonus room downstairs with a nice sectional couch, big screen TV and a second full bath which was unexpected. We visited the Star Trek Museum in Ticonderoga for a tour on a rainy day. Well worth it, even if you’re not a Trekkie. Hiking and historical sites are close. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to relax and curl up by the fire after a day on the slopes.

My boyfriend and our 2 Dogs drove up from Cincinnati yes, 12 hrs) to enjoy bringing in the New Year on Lake George. We loved every part of this adorable house right on the lake in Ticonderoga. The view was incredible, even with all of the fog, it was incredibly relaxing listening to the water and the ducks (very different from the city life we're used to). The house is on a dead end road and we felt very safe, and everyone in the area waved as they passed. The house is at the very top of the lake, but it is a Gorgeous drive down to the town of Lake George & Glenn's Falls (50 - 60min). It is also an easy drive to Vermont, which is also Beautiful (90min to Burlington). Erin was incredible kind and accommodating. We almost had to cancel our trip due to family reasons, and Erin was very understanding and reassured us she would work with us and do everything she could to make things work out. Fortunately we were able to make our trip and she made sure we arrived safely, was very quick to respond to anything we needed. Erin is a fantastic host and we would love to stay in her place again in the near future (hopefully spring/fall time).

We stayed at Erin's cozy house with our family for 3 days. The house is right on the lake and is very clean. There's everything you need in the house. We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is remote but we were able to drive to Lake Placid and to skiing in Vermont (Sugarbush) in about 1.5 hrs. Gore Mountain was closer about 1 hr but unfortunately was sold out so its good to book that early especially on holiday weekend.

The house was beautiful and clean. We used the boat dock for a 21’ bass boat. The house is located in a very protected part of the lake. We also took the boat to Lake Champlain, a short drive away. There was zero in person contact, which I prefer. The owner gave us a pass code for the digital door lock. All housewares and cooking pans are included. The refrigerator makes ice, which was awesome for the cooler! All rooms had their own AC and HD TVs. I highly recommend this property.
