This is our 2nd time staying at this lovely home. The host is very nice. The house is really comfortable and clean. The kitchen contains everything you need. Great location!!! We cannot wait to come back!

This was our 4th year back at this property — great kitchen and communal space.

With family spread across Chicagoland and Michigan, this was once again the perfect meet up spot for us to gather. The home is perfectly set up for multiple families to have privacy but also enjoy spacious common areas. The walkable neighborhood and nearby parks and a nice perk too, all while only being a short walk to the beach. Tricia is easy to work with and highly responsive. We will certainly return!

This was our first time staying here and it met all of our needs and was above our expectations. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the folding tables were an extra bonus for us to do puzzles and crafts at. Everyone ran smoothly and Tricia was quick to communicate with us. We would gladly stay here again!

This once again was one for our group to treasure in memories made at the Royal Retreat. What was most exciting was meeting Tricia and her friends. We'll be back next year for our 10th home away from home Girls Gone Wild Fall Weekend.

The Royal Retreat is a very nice & spacious house. There were 9 in our group. There were 4 Sisters all retired and 5 of our daughters. It was a Mother/Daughter wknd. The house is decorated nicely, w/a very wide open concept floor plan. It’s totally stocked. We found everything we needed. We used & Loved the Hot Tub, and the golf cart was a nice added treat. Only have a few things to mention. The bunk bed on the 2nd floor, the top bunk, no one slept in it because it’s very rickety, felt too unstable while climbing up. Same for the lower level bunk beds top bunk. Check in & out was easy peasy and Communication between our party & w/Tricia was AWESOME. She responded almost immediately whenever I had a question. It was a pleasure staying in the house. I just feel the cleaning service needs to clean better. The floors on main level were pretty dirty & the lower level bathroom shower wasn’t the cleanest. Overall it was nice

We have stayed here twice now and we love this house. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very convenient and the main level kitchen, dining, and other living space is well organized and comfortable. We appreciate the golf cart for trips to the beach.

This home was perfect for our annual Labor Day weekend trip. Spacious & the host was extremely responsive. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful rental! It was clean, well stocked, comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for more! The owner was very pleasant to work with and responded back in a timely manner. We are planning to rent again, same time next year and already looking forward to it! I highly recommend this home!

We have stayed in several Beachwalk properties and this was by far our favorite! New, clean, fully equipped with everything you could want including bicycles! Lots of bathrooms. Our favorite thing was that the open living/dining/kitchen area was great for our whole group to gather in the evenings. We will be back!

We had the best week at Royal Retreat! Very clean and a great layout for our extended family of 13. Wonderful location - close to the pool/playground and a short golf cart drive to the beautiful beach. The hot tub and bikes were a big hit with the kids. Definitely hope to stay again.

This is our third year and second home within Beachwalk booked with Tricia and as always the house was clean, well stocked and beautiful! We come with several kids aged baby - 6 years old and the house has everything we need for an easy stay! Already looking forward to our 2024 trip back to “the purple house” as our kids say 💜

I absolutely loved this house! The property was not only amazing but so was the area and the little town it was located in with all the colorful houses. The house was very clean and exactly how it was described. I will absolutely love to come back!

A delightful place to stay in winter, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to hang out with friends and family.

Property was very clean, tidy, spacious, and perfect for a large group! Amenities listed were all accurate and close walk/drive to beach. Parking options as well for multiple cars. Would stay again!

This renting experience was just as easy as all the other times I have remted this house.

Wonderful weekend away for ten board gaming friends. Plenty of space to spread out -- the arcade game in the basement was a welcome surprise -- and to gather to play games and cook meals. The location near downtown Michigan City made traveling to the house by train really easy, and a lunch at a local brewpub was a no-brainer. Hopefully, we will be back!

The house was great, perfect for our big group. The location was great from Chicago. The lake was very pretty even in the winter. Our kids were really looking forward to the hot tub, unfortunately, it wasn’t working properly. Tricia was very responsive, she replied quickly and sent a repairman to fix it right away.

We have rented this property multiple times and will continue to do so. We love this house. It has everything you need and is so nice and clean. The owners are great to work with! Can't recommend this property enough!!

The layout of this house is great for group meals and hanging out. Our third time in this house and it was great again.
