The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults who didn't want to share a room! Plenty of common space to make everyone comfortable and the outdoor shower was a huge hit!

We had a great stay! Two adults in their 70's one in their 50's & kids from 7-17 yrs. House was clean, had everything we needed (towels, glasses, plate, pans, etc.) lots of space. Walk to the private beach (which was often empty) a bit farther than expected by photos (about 10 houses away) for the older family members, but the kids were close & safe enough to use the facilities throughout the day. Talking to the property manager was quick & easy when a question came up. Grocery Delivery was a great help with COVID still being a concern, along with delivery food "take out." Wonderful trip!

A wonderful house and neighbors are very friendly! Kitchen is fully equipped and plenty of room in the dining room and living room for everyone. Comfortable chairs to sit and read. Master bedroom is large and even has a couch. Basement has a set of bunk beds and a couch with large TV and foosball table. Beach is just at the end of the block. House was very clean and Paul and Isabella were great hosts and responsive!

My husband and I found this property at the last minute because we were unable to take our boys on our annual vacation due to the pandemic. The owner responded immediately and confirmed the availability, and it was only available because of a last minute cancellation.The house has a lot of character and charm. It was clean, spacious and inviting. We settled in instantly. We loved the TV in the kitchen and the various spaces to choose from to relax, read or work. We also enjoyed grilling and eating dinner outside. The wi-fi worked phenomenally. We loved the beach. The private beach allows for social distancing. It was completely safe. We will for sure return.

The yard stretches behind the house, plenty big for croquet. Games, beach toys are plentiful, barbecue and big patio with picnic table - lounge chairs too! A great place for family holiday.

The owners were kind and responsive. This is a solid rental. We would stay again.

Our family met up for the holidays at this beautifully updated old home and enjoyed the space and daily walks on the private beach. On arrival we were welcomed by lighted garlands on the porches; even the interior had been tastefully decked out for the holidays, down to stockings hung on the hearth! Lots of bed options, dining seating, and 2.5 bathrooms include jacuzzi tub. Helpful hosts responded quickly to all questions.

This house is amazing: It's open and spacious, but has plenty of spots for someone who wants a little alone time. The master bedroom is very large, with doors leading to a second-floor deck, and a roomy first-level outdoor porch, great for sitting in the evening and listening to the waves and seagulls from the beach a short walk away. Very cozy, warm and inviting: Somehow classy and rustic at the same time. Lovely bathrooms: clean and modern. Definitely a home away from home. My son, who loves to cook, enjoyed the kitchen, with its large gas stove and double oven, perfect for making us all a great dinner. The best review (parents will certainly get this) is that my grown children were super impressed that their mother managed to secure such a great rental. I heard several times: "Wow, this is a really great house. How did you find it?" My grandsons cried when it was time to leave. They liked exploring the house, watching the taller people play foosball in the finished basement, and being pulled in the wagon to the beach, where they played in the sand for hours. I can't say enough about it. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful home well equipped. Lovely responsive owners. The only concern was, except for master bedroom king bed, all other beds are singles and not the most comfortable, especially for adults. Close to beach and terrific front porches.

The house was great and we felt very comfortable. It was spacious and location was steps from the beach. We look forward to the opportunity to stay there again.

Beautiful home. Stayed at this house with out of town guests for my son's wedding. Perfect location and space for everyone. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to be by the beach and have plenty of space for everyone.

Paul & Isabella we’re gracious hosts who were very adaptable to our requests during our stay. We were visiting family in the area for the Christmas holiday & ended up hosting due to unforeseen circumstances. Their home was spacious enough to hold our large family for dinner and game nights. The decor was very inviting and warm with updated amenities including a beautiful well appointed kitchen, dining & family room arrangement as well as a spacious master bedroom suite, deck & shared upstairs bath. The sleeping porch was an added bonus even with the chilly temps! Upon arrival, the home was festively decorated with exterior lights & a small tree, which made us feel right at home. A cozy, charming place to enjoy for sure. The neighborhood was quiet with a beach feel close to the shore. Our family & visiting guests loved it! Thank you Paul & Isabella - we’ll be back!

We rented this house because we were having family members from out of state who flew in for my son's graduation. We had a wonderful time.The house was so perfect that no one wanted to leave when it was time to hit the beach. We had our breakfast on the front porch. The yard was perfect for our family barbecue. We had game time in the basement while the teenagers watch movies on the first floor. This morning was our last day, we had breakfast on the balcony. It was a delight to work with Paul and Isabella. We thank you for sharing your house with us. My son thinks we should do this every year. Thank you again.

Our family of four rented this property for ten days over the Christmas holidays, travelling from southern California to visit family in Milford and Stratford. The house was everything we had hoped for, clean and well maintained, comfortably furnished, well equipped in the kitchen, and spacious enough to host several family dinner gatherings for 10+. The owners were pleasant to deal with and very responsive to a couple of questions and clarifications. We typically travel back to this area several times a year and will plan to rent this great house again!

Great value! Great neighborhood! Even better than advertised, due to recent house improvements. Our large family had a great time. Good kitchen, close to the beach. Paul and Isabella were also very prompt to respond to our needs.

Our family recently spent one week in this 2 story cottage, which was a short walk to the beach on "the sound", in a clean & quiet neighhborhood. The house was well stocked with linens & kitchen items, & all the comforts of home. We liked the beach theme decor & the great room was just the right size for our family of ten (my husband & I, our 2 elderly mothers, our son & wife with 4 children under the age of 7). The upstairs Master bedroom was large enough for our son's family of 6 to sleep in (with the use of the trundle bed mattresses while my husband & I stayed in the twin beds room & the the grandmothers had their own space with one in the sun room & one in a room near the half bath. The backyard is a small patio which is a nice place for older children & adults to hang out, but not recommended for our littles ones of 16 months thru 7 years old, who needed alot of room for their high energy. There is a children's park within walking distance & the beach, for them to enjoy the outdoors. Our elderly mothers weren't used to walking up & down stairs so they stayed downstairs except for shower time. We traveled to Connecticut in our class "A", 42' RV, which we discovered was a bit of a challenge to manuever on the narrow streets lined with cars & drive it up the sloped driveway but it did fit with room for 2 more cars behind it. We didn't need an electical hookup for it was used just for transportation. I wouldn't recommend anything larger than a Minni Winnago. The owner was very helpful with my questions on using VRBO for the first time & with anything to accomodate our stay there. Thank-you for sharing your home, Paul & Isabella!
