We had an amazing time at this property. The house was perfect for our family. It has beautiful Mexican decor throughout the entire home. The outdoor space has phenomenal views of the Sayulita beach and is a great place for entertaining and lounging in the pool watching the sunset. The house comes fully stocked with everything you can think of. The house comes with a Golf Cart (per a fee for your stay). This will get you to town and the beach which is a quick 5 mins away. The house is located on Nanzal Hill. So I highly recommend the golf cart. Upon your arrival the property manager will meet you at the property and explain everything about the house. He is is super helpful with any questions about everything and anything. He has lived in Sayulita for 14 yrs. You can text or call him with anything that might arise during your stay and he will get it taken care of. He is also a great reference for any place that you might want to go during your stay. There is a cleaning lady (Vicki) who comes twice a week to clean the house. She is such a sweet lady and always has the house looking immaculate. Ted and Brenda (owners) have everything set up for a hassle free vacation. From start to finish the correspondence with both of them was exactly what you would want from renting a property. I highly recommend Vista Hermosa to anyone wanting the perfect Sayulita getaway. We definitely look forward to are next stay.

Where to begin! Ted and Brenda were fantastic hosts. They communicated thoroughly and often leading up to our trip. Upon arrival - the driver (organized by Ted/Brenda) picked us up perfectly on time, took us to a grocery store, and dropped us off at the house / picked us up on our way out of town. The property manager was extremely helpful as well, answering all questions we had. The house was fantastic (I loved staying in the open air room) and the golf cart is a MUST for getting up and down the hill :) (well, not a must, we walked a bunch, but it sure was handy!). I told my family members all about it and am hoping to return again for another vacation.

We had a great time in Sayulita and would definitely come back to this house! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we could need and the property manager was a quick phone call or text away, which was very helpful. The house is located on a steep hill, which provides for stunning views but I would definitely recommend using the golf cart! We walked into town once but the golf cart made it faster and more convenient. Property owners were also very responsive and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend!

The pictures do not do this house justice. Truly magnificent views. The heated pool was so relaxing and clean. The palapa room with the hammock was a favorite with my kids and myself for afternoon naps. The golf cart is a must as the rode up to the house is quite steep. It also allows for easy rides to town for restaurants and the beach. Sayulita is definitely a foody destination, the restaurants were superb. We like to go somewhere different for our spring break trips, however we all feel we will book this house again.

I cannot describe fully with words what an amazing time we had staying at villa hermosa and experiencing Sayulita. Starting from the beginning Ted and Brenda made it clear how passionate they are about Sayulita and their home. And they were 100% accurate. The pictures and description of Villa Hermosa doesn't do it justice. Stunning views from every room, clean and welcoming, and the infinity pool was our favorite place to hang out. The casita was such a neat addition to Ted and Brendas property. We all took turns enjoying a night in the casita and one day enjoyed massages in it as well. We felt very safe on the property. The security system announces when someone is at the front gate or opening the lower casita gate. There was never a time we were worried about unwanted guests. We had 7 ladies on our trip that arrived at different times and Margerito and his crew were prompt and easy to work with to help us get to/from the airport and around town, Brenda and Ted highly suggested him and we were all very happy they did. Lastly I want to show my appreciation for the properties care taker Gus. He was our right hand man on this trip and I can’t thank him enough for answering our many questions. Whatever we needed Gus was there to take care of us. Thank you again Ted and Brenda for making us feel like family in your home. These 7 Midwesterner ladies made lots of memories that we will never forget❤️

Everything about the property description is accurate, and it's even more beautiful than the photos. We had a fabulous stay! Enjoyed every minute. Be aware that there is nearby home construction, which is not a problem if you are at the beach or in town. But it is noisy during the day while sitting at the pool. We'd love to come back and book this wonderful property again!

What an incredible, beautiful home in a spectacular place. Unbeatable views. World class comfort in a very well-equipped space. Hosts were incredibly helpful, responsive and lovely to speak with, as was the property manager. In a perfect world, we would never have to leave.

The house is AMAZING. Beautiful views and you can't beat the pool. Very clean. Beach and pool accessories (towels, chairs, umbrella, pool floaties, coolers, etc) are at the house to use. If you want solid workout, walk the very steep hill to the house! If you don't feel like breaking a sweat on your vacation, I would recommend the golf cart. Haha. Good news is that it only takes a few short minutes to walk DOWN. And a $5 taxi back up. The open air casita is beautiful! But the bugs can be brutal and it is a bit noisy (cars, people, nearby construction). The house is really beautiful and the bathrooms are great. We had a fabulous stay and it never felt cramped. Gus, the property manager is incredibly helpful. It is nice to have a local contact to help you with anything you need or any issues that may come up.

Villa Hermosa was the perfect family getaway. There was plenty of room for the 8 adults. The pool was great and a perfect temperature. We were close enough to the beach and to town that there was plenty to do. We had a lovely dinner at the house prepared for us by Julio and Laura. Gus, the property manager was attentive to our questions and the Property owner was available via email. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Villa Hermosa .

I will start with the bad and end with the good... This property is very hard to secure safely to avoid crime. The owner has several cameras surrounding the property, and a big front gate but it did not protect us during our stay. On our first day we chose to leave all valuables in 2 different safes provided in the home, when we returned to the house after dinner in town both safes had been opened without forced and all of our cash had been stolen. There was a 3rd safe onsite with a pin code that only the owners who live in Texas have the code for. After we were robbed I contacted the owner to get the more secure code for the remaining time of our stay, but the owner was unable to provide a working code. The rest of our stay we chose to hide valuables around the house rather than trust any safe onsite since they were compromised. I asked the owners to review any of the 5 surveillance cameras but they were unable to find any recordings of the intruder. I wish I would have added some travel insurance to protect ourselves from theft onsite. If you are okay taking the risk of stolen property I will say the house has amazing views off the back patio/pool. We spent most of our time in the infinity pool that overlooks the whole cove. The kitchen was well equipped with needs for cooking with all the fresh bottled water you need. 3 of the bedrooms were inside the home and comfortable, each with their own AC unit. The 4th bedroom was down the stairs from the pool in an open air setting, it had great views but it didn't get used much because of the hot temperatures, and bugs during our stay. The travel time down the hill and into town was about 10 minutes in a golf cart on very narrow and steep roads. The golf carts we rented managed them pretty easily, it would be much more tricky in a rental car.

A great house with a beautiful view, gated, private heated pool, clean throughout, nice linen, awesome casita, air conditioned, etc. My husband and I stayed in May of 2020. The house was large for just two of us, but it had the amenities we were looking for and we had a FABULOUS vacation. Every day we took the golf cart to town for lunch. The food and margaritas were amazing. We did not get sick eating local food and we felt very comfortable walking around town during the day. On the way back to the house, we stopped at small markets to grab food and fresh veggies for dinner and then stopped at the butcher for steaks. We grilled steaks on the BBQ and made great fresh veggie salads. Getting a Covid test for return to the U.S. was easy. The living room is rather small if you plan to sit around and visit inside, but there is plenty of seating outside. The stools in the pool are missing some tiles, but that did not hinder our enjoyment of the pool. A golf cart rental is a must. It doesn't take long to get to town, but the road is a bit windy and steep. I would recommend this house.

Really enjoyed our time in MX. House was exactly as listed. The view is even nicer than we imagined. Pool was perfect temp during the day or evening. Would certainly come back and stay again. Great communication between owners and property manager.

Truly a wonderful home. We couldn't have been happier with the vacation house in Sayulita. We had an awesome view. The pool was great. And, the house was comfortable and spacious with all of the proper amenities. Highly recommended.

Vista Hermosa is the real deal. We were there for 2 full weeks. Kitchen is stocked and amazing - cups, bowls, all the cooking supplies you need and more. Ted and Brenda were amazing from the time of booking throughout the stay. On Ted's referral, Margarito for taxi services (3 separate families with 3 separate arrivals and departures) was easy to work with and extremely reliable and on time. Gustavo as our POC in Sayulita was always there for us when needed and a pleasure to talk with. He set us up with a great in home catered dinner. We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday - there were 3 couples and we each have one child, ages 2, 5, and 7. We could not keep the 5 and 7 year olds out of the pool. The home was very safe and comfortable. The reviews about the views do not lie! The golf carts are a must, especially with little kiddos. We loved this home and all its amenities. Highly recommend. This was our 3rd time in Sayulita, we will certainly be back. Thank you Ted and Brenda and crew!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful house. The owner called before our stay and provided detailed and very helpful information about the house and the town. The home is big and the views were spectacular. It is on a very steep hill but we were able to walk to town or taxi. The property manager was helpful and responded to our calls/texts throughout our stay. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The owners Ted and Brenda were extremely helpful with answering questions prior to our trip and during. The house manager Ramone seemed to be in a hurry and came off as defensive with a couple of issues so we addressed most issues with the owners and they were very prompt to respond. We absolutely loved this home, the views and the location. My only complaints would be that some of bedding was stained and the blankets between the sheets and the comforter were definitely not washed prior to our stay. I am a clean person and especially during these times, would have felt much better if the bedding felt/looked clean. There was not any additional bedding for the cot they had there (so I had to remove some from the casita). The casita was beautiful to sit in during the day but nobody felt comfortable sleeping there (it’s all outdoors and we read about people being bitten by bugs so we didn’t want to chance it. We also had teenagers with us so we felt better with everyone inside the locked house.) which is why we needed the cot for the 3rd bedroom). Mattresses were all extremely comfortable and of good quality: The pool view was beautiful although is a bit run down. (Loose and chipped tiles throughout). We were thrilled that they were very generous with the heater and we were comfortable lounging in there day and night. We were happy to have the golf cart rental. However, it broke down a couple of times. It could never make it up the hill with the 6 of us so we had to do shifts (where half of our party would wait in the road while half was taken up the hill). Ted said that should not have been the case but the golf cart maintenance people recommended pushing with “running starts” but we chose the do the shifts. One night that it didn’t work, we tipped them $40 us round trip since they had to bring up 2 carts to get us to our dinner and back so that was kind of a bummer. I would recommend paying more for two 4 person golf carts if you have more than 4 in your party. That’s what we would do next time. All in all the though this was the most fabulous trip celebrating 2 50th birthdays and we will definitely be back. The owners are so attentive that I’m confident they will fix the things that are mentioned in the review and we look forward to a 5 star stay on our next trip to Vista Hermosa. This is a special place and the view is stunning! The house is wonderful and comes with all the ammenities needed to have a great stay. The owners were really easy to work with and the property manager was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a great house with unequal views this is the one.

Our group really enjoyed the place. Spectacular view from every point of the house and gorgeous sunset every evening. Very cozy and comfortable layout. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the pool bar daily. Great communication with the host before our arrival and the property manager was there within minutes for our every needs. We will definitely come back.

We had such a lovely visit to Sayulita! Ted and Brenda were a great source for ‘things to do’. Our children adored the turtle release!! The view from the pool is even prettier than the pics and is where we spent most of our time!! The golf cart was essential.. it’s a quick but steep trip into town. This home was our saving grace in the trash fire of a year called 2020.

Vista Hermosa is a beautiful home and a wonderful location. It has incredible views and is close to town, but far enough to get away to relax and enjoy the serenity. Definitely rent the golf carts. You will need them to get up and down the hill. Ted and Brenda were great. They made lots of recommendations of places to eat and things to do. They helped us arrange our transfers and a personal chef for the first evening. We were there when the corona virus hit the US, so there was a lot of anxiety about getting home. They called to check on us and were willing to help us if needed. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

The stay was exactly what we were expecting plus more. Ted was more than helpful for any of our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is perfect - I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything was much better than expected and working with Ted and Brenda was extremely easy! The house manager and staff were super helpful throughout our trip. I highly recommend renting the golf cart as it’s a hefty hike to and from the downtown from the house. Not impossible to do - but the gold cart will make your life so much easier.

Vista Hermosa is a an excellent base from which to enjoy Sayulita. This was our second trip to Sayulita and our first stay in this house. The house is excellently equipped, very clean and has a great layout for our family. Our group included young children who loved the pool and patio and could play safely in bth throughout the day. The house is wonderfully located, surrounded by incredible trees and wildlife, a great retreat from the bustle of Sayulita, but only a short walk away. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. Property manager, Edgar, was extremely responsive, nothing was too much trouble, and worked hard to make our stay a great one. We had a few dinners prepared by Lulu (organized through Edgar) which were outstanding and incredibly good value. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Vista Hermosa.

This was our first trip to Sayulita and it did not disappoint! Vista Hermosa is a beautiful property that is tucked away from the bustle of town but just a quick golf cart trip away from anything you could want or need. The property is safe, very clean, well run and all of the staff are friendly and professional. The views from anywhere on the property are spectacular. We will definitely be back!

Very great time and a beautiful place to stay

This property is well worth the money! What an amazing time we had as a family of 5. We were very hesitant on staying in Sayulita due to all the reviews online, and Ted, the owner was willing to answer our questions multiple times by speaking to us personally. The view is breathtaking and we loved spending all of our time in the infinity pool.

I’ve been going back to Sayulita with my family for the past ten years and we love staying at BG’s Vista Hermosa. It’s far enough from the noise of the town but close enough for a golf cart ride anywhere you need. I enjoy running up and down the steep hill for exercise in the morning as it’s only like 5 minutes from the beach as well. There are yoga classes everywhere, awesome surf instructors, pretty hikes, and a local gym. Sayulita has a growing supply of organic and natural ingredients. The hippie smoothie spot is a daily favorite. After a days work of exercise, I liked taking a siesta on the hammock that’s in the casita or relax in the infinity pool. My family and I had everything we needed to cook before a night out or we would check out one of the amazing restaurants. Overall, unbeatable view and unforgettable memories made with our family :) muchas gracias

Immaculate Serenity BG’s Vista Hermosa arguably has the most serene view in all of Sayulita! From the infinity pool overlooking beautiful landscaping, through the jungle, and down to the waves of the Pacific Ocean - you will never see a sunrise or sunset like this anywhere else! The entire staff was incredibly helpful. Ted and Brenda were always available for any questions I had and they even include their designated driver to take you to and from the airport (we got groceries and a smoked chicken along the way!). At one point I did lose my phone in town but the locals were very easy to talk to (even with me not knowing any Spanish!) and we ended up finding it a couple hours later. I hated to leave the home and depart from the view, but once I did I found that the food in town is absolutely wonderful! There are options for the whole family and everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. If you’re coming to Sayulita, this is the place to stay! I can’t wait to return and maybe even check out their other home in Galveston, TX! Thank you again for the unforgettable memories.

The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Rent their golf cart as the house sits on a very steep hill and you need the bigger engine it get up it! The house manager was very helpful and he had no issues checking in and getting picked up at the airport. We would rent again!
