Miss Rebecca was a fantastic host. She gave us dinner recommendations, showed us around the property, and communicated well throughout one stay. She even went a bought an iron for us because the one that was supposed to be there was gone. We give this property and it’s gracious hostess a high recommendation.

It was a short walk to the beach and a large playground/park, plus plenty of nearby restaurants. We arrived on the 4th of July and the host provided a basket of small poppers and novelties, which our 5 year old son really got a kick out of.

Rebecca was great in communicating. The location is what makes this place perfect. It is a half a block from the lake and a beautiful park. Downtown can be reached by a short drive. There is a market around the corner for groceries. It was quiet and comfortable. Rebecca provides several little extras that makes you feel more welcome. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

The host was very accomodating of any needs & offered a binder of several ideas for local restaurants and activities. Rebecca also has very good communication skills, along with having an easy check in/out process! Thank you!

Extremely nice couple who is helpful in any way. Communication was impeccable, warned us in advance about may flies and kept everything clean outdoors. Apartment was great and WELL stocked ,especially for those things you tend to forget at home. LOVED IT ! And would definitely stay again. They also welcomed our pet Precious. Giant plus ! Rebecca made our stay in Port Clinton, very enjoyable. She had all the little extras that one might need away from home. The house is located just a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants! The kitchen was well stocked, if you wanted to prepare meals at the house. We really felt at home!! Thanks Rebecca and John!

The furniture inside was worn and broken. There was a funky smell in the unit and back yard was a cubicle and full of poop and needed mowed. They said they mowed couple days before but it looked it was a month ago. It's colder now grass isn't growing that fast even with the rain. The poop was thick and poop bucket was over full. No where to put it. No we didn't complain about it until she texted us on the way home. She didn't like what I said and she kept texting the whole way home. We live 3 hours away. Finally I told her to quit harassing us then I told her we'll have to block her if she doesn't stop. Finally she did. We won't be staying there anymore. She even threatened to tell you vrbo so that we will not be able to rent off of anyone else. We saved all of the text and we have pictures of the yard. We wasn't asking for money back and we wasn't going to give her a bad review until she kept making excuses. We even found a toilet brush and plunger on top of dish towels underneath the kitchen sink. We used vrbo in the past and enjoyed the experience. And will use it again but we will never stay or recommend her again. Thank you for your time.

Property owner was very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was attached to the main house and it was quiet. Didn’t like the smell of cigarette smoke or the butts filling up ashtrays out back.

For our needs this was near perfect.laat minute trip so tried a new place. THE GOOD Good location close to everything Great communication Great beds- SUPER comfort Clean Had everything we needed The candies and local wine were a nice touch THE BAD outside property, including entryway was a bit unkept. (Things lying in driveway and the like) Furnishings were dated (this was my largest concern. One chair was held together by zip ties and another has no cross bars- almost injured myself on it. The recliner didn't recline and handle broke when trying to. In both cases the owner hassled me after visit as if I was responsible) I've stayed in the area using the other short term rental service a ton. Due to last point I would not stay here again on future visits.

Owners went above & beyond to make sure we had eveything we needed & even did things they didn't have too. Wonderful people! The place was excellent as well.

Me and my husband stayed over memorial weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The location was excellent and very close to all the main sights. The home was comfortable and had all essentials to make you feel right at home. The owners was nice and very accommodating. The house being conjoined did throw us off a bit but overall an excellent place to stay for vacation.

Hosts Rebecca and John are exceptional hosts. John helped us move luggage in! They were concerned about our comfort and enjoyment of our vacation. The 2 bedroom unit is cozy, walking distance to the lake and close to local attractions and restaurants.

Everything was as anticipated

This property was private and we had a unit all to ourselves on the back of the house. The unit was clean when we arrived. We were able to have our two dogs with us and that was great. Unfortunately, we had to cut our weekend short because our one dog became ill. The host was very understanding. She offered a discount on our next stay.

Family vacation!

Nice to rent from someone invested in their service/property. Beds were awesome, place felt very clean and home-like. Will consider staying again if we return to the area.

Very friendly hosts and location is perfect for visiting PIB or other attractions in the area. Unit is well stocked and has everything you need.

Great place for younger individuals, not so good for senior citizens. Place is actually only the back half of the homeowners home. It has a separate entrance from the driveway to a hallway. Doorway off the hallway into the back VRBO apartment does not lock and has a step to step down into the apartment which is a dangerous trip hazard for the elderly. Photos make the place look bigger than it is. Beds are very comfortable, but the living room furniture was not so comfortable and a bit too short for tall people. All in all highly recommend for younger people.

My husband and I loved staying here. The owners of this home were kind and responsive to all of our needs. The location is perfect to engage in activities such as using Jet Express to get to Put-in-Bay. We loved our stay here!

We stayed as a group to celebrate birthdays. It was a great place and a great location! We could walk to beach or to the free music festival downtown. Ferry to PUt N Bay was 15 minute drive- the cheaper ferry. I recommend this place!!

Wonderful hosts! Great place to stay if you are looking for a pet friendly place with a great location.

Great location, a walk to the park that has a variety of things for kids of all ages to do and the beach with a bathroom and rinse off showers. The rental was nice and cold, wonderfully decorated with the best owners! Feels so much safer for a mom and her children on their own than staying anywhere else.

This was our first time visiting the area and we had a blast! The place was so close to everything which made it easy to pack a lot of sightseeing into a long weekend. Rebecca and her husband were so helpful and there if you needed them! The place was clean and comfortable! The "extras" provided in this house were unbelievable - you could honestly just bring clothes and be set!
