It was a wonderful stay!

Spent a week at FantaSea. The location is great! You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the top deck! We had a group of 8 and the house was very spacious but cozy for all of us. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need and having a fridge on the lower floor was very helpful. We've stayed in Rodanthe/Waves before and really enjoy the low key vibe in that area. We rented bikes which makes it easy to get around town. The beach is just across the road and easy to get to. The OBX is a special place. We had a great time. We would definitely rent the house again.

My family stayed here multiple times. We love the house and it’s location. It’s just a short walk to the beach.

We had the most incredible time staying at FantaSea! It was perfect for our two families with children and being away from the chaos was refreshing. There was the perfect amount of space for the 5 year olds to play while the infant napped and the preteen had some alone time lol. The walk to the beach was short and simple which made carting all the things you need for an infant on the beach easy. The kitchen was by far the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced making cooking for 8 a breeze. The outdoor spaces were awesome! Being able to eat under cover at the picnic table, enjoy the pool and hot tub and enjoying coffee on the many decks was exactly what we had hoped for. We can’t wait to book our cousin camp 2024 as FantaSea is THE PERFECT place to stay.

Well supplied house!!! We've stayed at many houses over the years and this one had the best supplied kitchen. We were all thoroughly impressed!! Two fridges took the overflow which was nice to have. There was an outside shower and two hoses to use so we could enter the pool and hot tub sand free. (We tried anyway...some always hangs in your suits.) The pool was shaded in the afternoon which we loved after a day at the beach. The views were spectacular from the various decks. It was a plus having the RV park near as your view was tons better than having a bunch of houses. We loved seeing the families enjoying the beach and flying American flags. You'd think the beach would be crowded but it never was. Another huge plus was the private baths with the bedrooms. Two shared a bath which was no problem but it was nice for the older folks to not have the youngsters in with us. :) All in all the house was fantastic and so much so we booked it again for next year.

This was a wonderful house and location for our family vacation. Very close and easy to get to the beach. Wonderful views of the Ocean. The 1st night there we sat on the top deck and watched the lightning out over the ocean. Check in was great. It was very roomy and we all felt like we had our own space. It was great to have the gate across the top steps for the baby and not have to worry about her falling down the stairs. Very close to the fishing pier and Austin's seafood (great place to get clams and shimp). The only issues we had were the pool was not heated or didn't feel heated, even though we paid the extra fee for the heated pool. We had some issues with the top floor air conditioning working, but was ok with the fans on and doors open and the King bed in the top floor needed pillows piled in the center as not to both end up in the center of the bed as there was a big dip in the bed. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely book this house again.

The FantaSea is a beautiful place to spend your vacation!! It was everything the owner said it would be for the amazing hottub to warm beautiful pool (you must pay for the heater) it's so relaxing. The owners are really nice and helpful and answered all our questions. So if a quiet relaxing vacation is you're looking for then the FantaSea is perfect for you!!

Property is as perfect as advertised. Only 50 feet to the beach. Lovely pool and hot tub add to the perfect location. Aprils warm enough to swim before the busy season begins. Sit on the deck and watch the sunrise! So many nice town to explore and take walks. If you love nature and the ocean, it really is a Fantastic Sea vacation site.

Our family of eight had a great time exploring the Outer Banks. The house is located with ocean views and easy beach access. The house was clean and well equipped.

This home was in a good location. And it was very accommodating for me and my family of 7. I felt like that home should have been a little bit cleaner than what it was. We found markers and crayons under the couch’s also on the banisters we found a lot of dog hair and really dusty. Also another thing the beds could have been a little more comfortable. I feel the mattress could be changed out. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and my family loved it and we hope to return next year.

This house was AMAZING! Rooms were spacious and clean, very well stocked kitchen. The top deck is a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Maybe a three min walk to the beach! Private pool. Mary was awesome and very responsive. We will stay here again and would recommend to others! It was a wonderful vacation for our family to finally get together since Covid began. Thanks for such great memories!

Beautiful property, very clean and accommodating. We were so close to the beach and the views from the house were amazing!

We were looking for a place close to the beach, with a private pool, and big enough to accommodate 6 adults and one child comfortably, and this house fit the bill. The kitchen was well stocked to cook meals, as we preferred not to eat out with the current COVID situation. Bedrooms were all spacious, and everyone was comfortable. Views from the balconies, especially on the top level, were beautiful. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, and added to us being able to relax. Both of my girls are front line workers (doctor and occupational therapist) and have taken care of COVID patients since the start of the pandemic, so we were looking for a private retreat for them to safely be away to relax. My 3 1/2 year old grandson loved the pool, and there were plenty of sand toys available for him to take to the beach. We were very lucky to have wonderful weather all week. If we can coordinate all of our schedules again, we'd love to come back, and would recommend this house to my friends and family if asked.

This was our first time renting a property and we were just amazed on this property. It was very clean and had everything that we needed and would go back again. The kids had a blast with all the room and being so close to the beach and the adults were very pleased with everything the house had to offer. We look forward going back again. I would suggest this house to anyone that would love all the necessities of home.

VRBO was very good. A lot of steps to climb. Kitchen on top floor with one bedroom. My wife and I are 66 years old, so we made sure we had everything we needed for the trip down the stairs. Great thing is, the 5 BR house., swimming pool and spa. If you don't like sand you can spend the whole week right where you are. Easy to find and great people to work with for a vacation.

It was our first time in Outer Banks. Definitely will not be our last time! Fantasea, located in Waves, was the perfect family getaway. The beach access is right across the street. We enjoyed the private pool every day. We had an incredible week with our adult children and grandchildren. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house had everything you need. The location was perfect. The view is amazing. The fact that you can walk to most things like, groceries, ice cream shop, stores, etc was an added bonus. Highly recommend.

This property was very clean and updated. We loved the outdoor area with the pool and hot tub and privacy fence. A ton of seating outside to relax. Views from 3rd floor of ocean were amazing. Tons of storage space and kitchen cabinets. They had everything you need. We had a family of 10 stay comfortably. If you like a low key vacation with a short walk to beach this is a great spot. Owner was very quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time! We loved it! The house was perfect, pool and hot tub were amazing! Location was perfect to the beach! Mary was prompt with answering any questions I had! Our 12 year old begged us to stay longer, our 9 year old didn’t want to leave either and our 3 year old cried when we told her we had to go home! We will be back for sure! We had a fantastic vacation! And we can’t wait to go back!!

Pristine beach, nearby sound, short driving distance to Pea Island and Cape Hatteras, not to mention great views from the house + hot tub, what a perfect getaway

We had such a great time! This home is very comfortable and spacious. Mary answered all of our questions beforehand and checking into the property was very easy! We hope to stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed the ocean views from the deck and easy access to the beach. It was a quite and remote location which is what we needed. The heated pool and hot tub was key since it was cool weather while we were there. Highly recommend.
