We used this cabin as a home base for a couple of days of fly fishing around the Chattahoochee National Forest. The cabin had plenty of space and we made use of the fire pit both nights. Having a complete kitchen was helpful for making meals. We caught creek chubs and war paint shiners in the River below the cabin. We drove to the Fish Hatchery as well. Our most productive area was the Delayed Harvest section of the Toocoa.

I had an amazing stay! The property is exactly as it is described. If you’re looking for a quiet, trout fishing getaway, this is your spot. The stairs down from the cabin literally step off into the water. I drove to multiple locations but honestly had my best fishing right from the steps of the cabin for all three species of trout. The only other spot I might recommend is deep hole rec area (about 4 minutes away). The deeper water there provides a shot at landing some bigger fish. Overall amazing stay!!

I wanted a remote getaway from work. This cabin was it. It’s absolutely beautiful and prefect for a long weekend getaway. Cell service isn’t great, but I knew that when booking. My teen lost the cabin key and Cathie was so sweet and helped us quickly. Beware of the stair though. I fell down them the first day.

The cabin was in a lovely location. We used the tubes and had a perfect 1 hour trip down the river. We had a problem getting into the cabin but the host responded quickly. We are not big internet users and the wifi was not good. There was no cabinet space available for the food we brought which was ok since we only stayed 3 nights.

It stormed every night so the internet was here and there. I wasn't there for the internet just to spend some time with my baby! Wr made shores on the fire pit, played games, and even put a puzzle together. It is a beautiful place and so thankful for Kathie sharing it with us!

The theme was awesome, water is right there and one of the best fishing spots is four miles away.

We can't wait to go back to this perfect cabin! We love its location above the river in the tree tops. Very clean, modern with old fashioned comfort. In the mountain air we slept like babies. The only thing we didn't like was the coffee maker, which didn't keep the coffee hot. That's okay, because next time we'll take our own. And hopefully there will be many more next times. The cabin's name is River Song. Truly the river right below the cabin sang to us a lullaby of relaxation along with all the birds singing. It was paradise. It only takes a little while to nearby towns. We recommend this place highly!!!!

Rustic mountain cabin overlooking river. 2nd visit and just as pleasant this time as before. About 66 steps to River overlook and another 12 steps to into Trout Fishing Paradise!!!

From start to finish everything was easy and went smoothly! I booked a stay for a Christmas Getaway for myself, husband, 3 children & my mother in law. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was everything she described and MORE! The decor was mesmerizing. We were able to relax & unwind, very much needed! We made memories that my family will cherish FOREVER!

The host communicated very well.. property was very nice, all wood interior, big bedrooms, and wifi!!

We really enjoyed our stay here - the area is beautiful. I would say that it is not ideal for infants that crawl due to the stairs and the decorations, but everything else was great.

This cabin was perfect in just about every way. Very relaxing. The sound of the river combined with the stunning reds and golds of Autumn was magical. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time . Loved the Native American decor of the house. All of the boys ages 12-18 loved the river. My husband and I couldn’t believe how much time they spent floating down the cold river, but they had a blast. We couldn’t handle more than dipping our feet in the cold water. The whole area around the cabin was beautiful. We visited Blue Ridge, McCaysville, and Sea Creek Falls. The cabin met our simple needs, more rustic than some we have stayed at. Some would probably frown on hand washing dishes for eight twice a day, but it was okay with me. The stairs in the house and outside were also okay for us but would possibly be difficult for some. I would definitely rent this cabin again for our outdoors loving family.

The cabin waa great! It had anything you need in the kitchen and throughout the house. The owner was very responsive. This is not a place for small children or older adults. The drive up the street is very steep. The stairs to the river are a challenge, but accurately described in the pictures. The river is beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend this cabin.
