Loved the place. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Looking forward to a future stay.

I’m still dreaming about our stay here. The beautiful patio and ocean breezes were just spectacular. There were no bugs so we just left the patio doors open. It was heavenly. We didn’t turn on the tv once because we just loved sitting on the patio. The location was central to everything. A calm beach, a beach with waves, Luquillo beach and kiosks. We also went to el Yunque. You will not regret a stay here at all!

The condo is oceanfront, facing a very nice beach with clean water. The condo complex is gated and feels secure. The condo itself is roomy, with two bathrooms, which is a plus. The balcony is spacious. The condo has everything you need for the beach vacation - the chairs, the toys. The nearby beach is excellent for swimming. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location right on the beach. Great communication from the host and the property was just as listed. The beach outside the property is amazing and we spent hours just enjoying the surf with very few other people. There are lots of restaurants nearby and things to do. We arrived at 3am so the check in was a bit challenging in the dark. The host did a great job of sending us instructions for getting in. Had it been daylight we wouldn’t have had a problem at all. Loves our stay and would definitely go there again.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 elementary kids) stayed at Crystal Blue for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The view from the porch is amazing and the water was crystal clear! We enjoyed walking to a bakery for breakfast several mornings. The location was close to many activities we did--the kiosks, Fajardo, the ferry, El Yunque! There were beach chairs, toys, and a cooler in the closet. The kids enjoyed the grassy area between the condo and the beach where we saw many large lizards. Communication regarding arrival/checkout was very clear. This was a really great place--would definitely stay here again!

The condo worked well for our stay on the main island in Puerto Rico. Everything worked as advertised including the wifi and TV. We were able to access Netflix with a little experimentation. There is nice beach right out front where you can walk for a long ways. The only thing I would say negative about the place is that they could throw away the scratched up teflon frying pans and invest in some new ones. All in all a good place to stay.

We had a great experience. Perfect location and view. The place has everything you need for a great stay. We'll definitely stay there again if we get a chance.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The location on the beach is amazing and the unit itself was nicely decorated and pretty well equipped. The unit could use some TLC as we had some water coming in during a major storm. Our biggest issue was with the appliances, the dishwasher did not work and the washer was not functional. The property manager sent someone out to try and fix the washer, but they were not successful. Communication was very good. The area is close to El Yunque and the Kiosks, so a great spot for a base to explore.

The property, while dated, including a kitchen window frame with a half-inch hole and a rusting washer and dryer, is ideally located, quiet, secure and had plenty of space for my wife and me. We made plenty of use of the spacious balcony overlooking the water. The property is steps away from the beach. We did have two issues, however, that marred our stay. We were informed the day we checked in that a technician would arrive the following day, Saturday, to repair the washer. He came but could not fix it. Judith, a property rental contact, said she would provide an update on Monday, which came and went without any word. I texted and called Judith, but never heard back. On Monday I called to report a refrigerator leak that periodically required drying the kitchen floor. I was told a repairman was not available. The final issue occurred the evening before our checkout. The FOB to open the property gate wasn’t working. We were able to leave the property for dinner thanks to a tenant who opened the gate. After two unanswered calls and texts, I reached a property management representative who said she would call me in 10-15 minutes. Not hearing back after 45 minutes, I called and was informed that there was no one available to come to the property, which left only one option: park our car overnight on the street next to the property. The representative said the company would not take responsibility if anything happened to the car. The property representative also said we could cancel the final night of our contract and find another place to stay . Because it was 7:30 pm, finding somewhere else was impractical, I responded. The representative repeated that there was no one available to help. She suggested I tap the FOB, as it might re-establish a connection with the FOB sensor. Thankfully, it worked. I understand that rental property issues arise that can’t be addressed immediately. The lack of responsiveness and reasonable solutions on the part of the rental property management company was disappointing.

Amazing and beautiful location. Private, secure, very clean, and absolutely breath taking view and scenery of Playa Azul. My wife and I had a great time. We have family in Puerto Rico and we visit every year so we will definitely search this property again for booking for our next trip.

Location and view was the best. We snorkeled right off beach in front of condo and reef was amazing. Highly recommend....

The property was very well kept. Location is somewhat tricky. In order to get to property. The street is very narrow where you find cars parked on the street, which consist of beach goers. There's only room for two cars, which it's hard to get by. Location is great for eating out, shopping ECT. We enjoyed our stay, the view from the balcony is breath taking and relaxing. Thank you for everything.

It’s always nerve racking to book a vacation and hope that the pictures are a reflection of the actual property. I was anxious as were approached this property as was so happy to learn that it was exactly as listed! We woke up and enjoyed our coffee every morning with an amazing sunrise while listening to the ocean. The entire process was easy. We booked a year in advance and they answered every nervous question I had throughout the year without hesitation. I have never felt so heard while booking a stay. This team is amazing! Will stay here again in the future!

My family and I recently stayed at Crystal Blue. It was a wonderful experience! The complex itself feels very secure and was quiet and peaceful. The Crystal Blue condo was perfect for our family. The master bedroom with en suite had a good amount of space. There is an additional bathroom in the unit which is not listed in the posting. We were grateful for the beach toys, accessories, and beach towels available during our stay. Additionally, there were games, puzzles, books, etc which provided entertainment during down time. An item to note--the beach in front of the condo is a public beach. We noticed it to be much more busy on the weekend than during the weekdays. Given the opportunity, I would stay here again.

Crystal Blue is in heavenly location. Large balconies (2) both have views of the water. Property management was very responsive even though we were there over a major Puerto Rican holiday. We appreciated that there were beach chairs and other beach gear available for use.

This is second floor unit directly overlooking the ocean, with constant breezes that keep the condo cool all day long (at least in December). The two bedrooms have air conditioning units, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and breeze in the palm trees. Would definitely stay again!

Location Location Location! Amazing beach getaway in a nice small town. Bring sand shoes and snorkel gear to explore reef and tropical fish just steps from the shoreline. 15-20 minute walk you can be at the Kiosk restaurants and shops. Other restaurants and stores are near by if you need anything. 30 mimute drive to the Rain Forest. This is really located well to make for a great vacation. The place has a nice layout with 2 patios overlooking a grass courtyard and right on the beach. Secure parking area and units. Everything you need is stocked up but a little outdated. Some new stuff would really make this great place perfect.

MY husband and his parents stayed at the condo for 3 nights. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot.

We were a family of 5, 3 adults and two kids. The apt. had everything we needed and if not, the Amigo's store was a quick drive away. The beach was peaceful and beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be coming back for longer.

This condo is perfect for a getaway to Puerto Rico as a couples get away or with family! The complex itself is very nice and well maintained. The water is truly crystal clear and calm like a pool. There is a reef several hundred feet off the beach so it keeps the water calm PERFECT for small children. The pictures are really accurate. It is in a gated community so it feels very safe. The unit was very clean, linens were fresh. It originally concerned me that there was no air conditioning for the whole condo, because it is just had bedroom units, but it was never a problem. We kept all the doors and windows open the entire time and had an amazing ocean breeze that kept the condo cool. We only used the air conditioners at night when we had everything closed up. The condo is convinent to Fajardo and the rainforest. There are fast food restaurants nearby but our favorite was a Mexican restaurant named Lolita’s about 10 mins away and the kiosks about 5 mins away. There is a nearby public beach so we claimed our space early on the weekend days because we took hammocks to hang from the palm trees which worked out perfectly, but it was mainly secluded. During the week. There is also a grocery store about 5 mins away, which is a small Walmart under a different name, and a Walmart about 10 mins away near Fajardo. Prices are very reasonable and you can purchase almost anything you need for food and drink including beer and liquor. We would visit and stay here again!

Loved it! The condo was great. We had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. The location was also great. Ocean view from sunrise to sunset. The ocean was beautiful and only footsteps away. This location provided easy day trips to other areas of Puerto Rico. We were allowed a later check out time which was helpful due to our flight time. All wonderful! I wish we could have stayed longer!

The place is located perfectly steps from the beach. The view is the best part! It was beautiful during the day and just as amazing at night. You can definitely experience the island feeling, as you decide to be a little adventurous, when you walk the shore line towards the left of the beach/building. The tide comes in and you walk on water the whole time. It is beautiful. The stores and gas station are really close. We recommend renting a car, you are able to commute much easier and the GPS did not fail. The place was very well prepared and the instructions in using everything accordingly was prepared perfectly. We had no problems in our arrival or departure. We felt right at home. The balcony was very accommodating as well. We will definitely return and have suggested this place to others. Thank you for the hospitality!

We (four seniors), enjoyed our week at "Crystal Blue" and recommend it to others without reservation. The condo is comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the ocean views couldn't be better. The balcony is terrific: shaded, large enough for 4-6 people, unrestricted views and a sense of privacy. The beach is uncrowded and lovely (as shown in photos), but because of the grasses in the water we preferred swimming at the adjacent Balneario de Luquillo beach. Our choice of Luquillo as a home base turned out to be ideal for day trips to Old San Juan, the rain forest, Fajardo, and driving along the eastern coast to Guayama. The second bedroom is fine for children, however we suggest that making it as comfortable and attractive as possible would ease the disappointment of couples who do not draw the master bedroom.

We spent 14 days in the apartment and it was wonderfull.

Our family of 4 had a great stay in this apartment. The beach is so close, and was never crowded. There is a reef very close to shore that made for some interesting snorkeling. The apartment comes with plenty of beach and snorkeling supplies. I was a little concerned at the lack of AC in the main living area, because I run hot, but it's not needed. There is a constant, strong breeze, and great cross-ventilation. The AC in the bedrooms is enough to take the edge off at night. Our host was available and responded quickly when we had questions. There is not a whole lot going on in Luquillo itself, but it is a great central location for seeing other things. El Yunque is only 10 minutes away. Fajardo and the Bio Bay only 20 minutes. San Juan only 45 minutes. And the Kiosks. Oh, we loved the kiosks. Any and every type of Puerto Rican food in one big strip. They are 5 minutes away and we went 4 times in a week.

We have been to Puerto Rico before and used VRBO rentals in other parts of the world so we have experience in this location and have a set level of expectations. Pros : Location - we choose this place because each time we have come to PR we enjoy the ocean breezes and really wanted a place on the beach. Winner here! We happened to be there during some storm activity so the protected area really cut down on the wave action. Cleanliness - the place was very clean and ready to go Cons: Noise - Being on Luquillo Beach, which is public, you have to expect some noise. The noise level was quite low but during the first night there was a party going on that lasted all night up through the next afternoon (deep bass house music!). We thought it was from the Kiosks but upon investigation that morning it was a party on the beach close to the condo. Unfortunately, my wife does not sleep well with noise so we were not off to a great start. I called the manager the next morning to gather any information I could. Alana stated the police can't and will not do anything. She did not offer to call to see what could be done. I called them and they stated if it continued they would look into it. Who knows what would actually happen if it continued but it would have been nice to receive a different response from the manager. We know PR has a problem with feral cats and dogs but in previous stays elsewhere they were never a problem. The condo has two cats that meow very loudly each night in front of the condo. Lastly, trash pickup occurs at 2am for the condo and again, it is exceptionally loud. Obviously, these can't be controlled but please be aware of what can occur. Beds - the beds are firm so if you do not like firm beds look elsewhere. The master has plywood as support rather than a box spring. It is noisy when moving around too. Appliances - upon arrival we were told the dishwasher died. Sunday night the oven died. This posed a bigger problem than the dishwasher given how we cook. When asked what concessions, if any, would be made given the situation we were told "no, it was out of our control." Of course it would be but no offer of any kind was made nor do I even recall an apology for the inconvenience. Our impression was the manager/owner is only out for the $ and cares nothing about repeat business or good will. There are dozens of condos to choose from. Avoid this one and be wary of others with this manager/owner combo (there are several).
