Good house in a great resort

We throughly enjoyed the space of this home. Cooking in the kitchen “ almost” every meal for 8 days, fantastic! The pool, hot tub and yard were beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed. Seating was ample in both dining and living room. Jamie the homeowner was extremely prompt with any of my questions. Masa, property manager was prompt as well. The transaction of renting and using the property was super smooth. We loved our time. Thank you Jamie for sharing your beautiful property with us. Brenda

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at this property. This was our 5th visit to Hualalai (our favorite resort), and this home was by far the best we’ve stayed at. We used the pool and spa daily, and even set up a croquet course on their huge yard! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the cooking gear anyone would need, allowing us to cook/eat at home most nights. The open floor plan — with kitchen, dining room, living/family room occupying an enormous uninterrupted space (with 20’+ ceilings) — was very conducive to family togetheness.

The hose is amazing. It is better than expected. Thank you to the owner for sharing your beautiful home and having all the amenities available for your guests to use. We enjoy cooking and mixing cocktails so your home was perfectly equipped. Beds were so comfortable. Pool and patio ad great seating for lounging and dining for 6+ people. Loved all the outdoor sowers! Loved that you had vases so we could have beautiful flowers out all week. Mahalo!

Hale Hualalai is our favorite Hawaiian experience ever! We have been to many places over many years and this is the best. The combo of an amazing house and acreage to give everyone their own spaces and allow for various teen only, adult only and all family experiences was a highlight (we had 2 families with 4 teenagers and tons of space for everyone). We loved the resort access amenities, but frankly the house was so amazing and private that we and the kids rarely ventured to the resort other than for workouts, a spa and one dinner out. The home is fully stocked so easy to cook and the pagoda where we ate dinner very night was amazing setting and ambience (where again we didn’t even want to be at a restaurant vs the private experience with the family dinners). Everything about the place and the experience was best-in-class! Mahalo!

It is as billed and better than the reviews. Most negative reviews were in the past. Don't worry about the place. Manager was on top of anything we needed.

Great large rental. Super clean. Well maintained. Quick response from the very nice and professional on-site management team for a few issues. Well-stocked house/kitchen. We own a home in Hualalai and always have to rent another Villa or house during school vacations to accommodate our very large family. This is the best rental to date; we will definitely rent this house again.

Really enjoyed the property. If you haven’t been hulalai is special place. Host was very communicative and the integration between the four seasons concierge and team was great.

Our stay at this home was nothing short of magical. Beautiful home. Beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms, shared space, pool, hot tub…You get the idea. We feel in love with the island and the home was just a reflection of the beauty we saw when we ventured out. Highly recommend staying here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hualalai Hale. The house was big and gorgeous and the Four Seasons grounds were amazing.

This house is top notch. The house it self is WAYYYY better than the pictures. We were at the resort for a wedding and had visited multiple other properties and our house was by far the best. Location, big back yard, lot size, views and spacious living area. I would 100% recommend this house if i knew anyone traveling to hawaii. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hualalai Hale celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. The house was beautiful and we had plenty of space for us and our adult children . We enjoyed the privacy of the private pool and loved dining alfresco under the gazebo. The property manager was wonderful to work with and we appreciated all their recommendations including getting a private chef, which I would highly recommend. We loved walking the beach path in the mornings to get coffee at the market at the Four Seasons and the golf cart came in handy when enjoying a day at the beach. We would definitely book this house again when staying in Kona area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful—very private and quite large. The four bedrooms are good-sized and the overall house is well designed for hanging out. The lanai area is amazing, and the windows on two sides of the family room push into the walls, which allows the family room and dining room to become part of the pool area. The pool itself is nice, but the design is a bit quirky (right up against the house, which might be an issue for small children) and some recent shoddy patchwork on the spa really stands out. Overall, however, would definitely stay here again. One item of concern is how the resort handles house guests. Even when paying the crazy Four Seasons resort fees (which we did), you cannot get chairs near the hotel pool for most of the summer, and good luck getting any chairs at all if you arrrive after 9 am. The Four Seasons really needs to better in that regard.

This was our first time staying in a vrbo and we were thrilled! The house is perfect! We loved the everything about it and is much better in person than the photos if thats possible. My husband and I celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary with our 3 adult children and their significant others and staying here was the best choice. The property is beautiful and the house is spacious with everything you want for a great vacation. The four seasons is a short ride and we were able to enjoy the facilities as well as a dinner under the stars on the beach and a luau. As a family that stays at four season, I did have to adjust my expectations of the concierge as they are specific to the property owners and not the same as the hotel, I had to do a lot of my own planning. We enjoyed some really incredible meals at Merrimans and Canoe House which I highly recommend and had Dan and Claire(Island Thyme Gourmet) prepare 2 meals for us which were out of this world, they are so talented and just the nicest people! It was so lovely eating outside in the pavilion, relaxing and enjoying a freshly prepared dinner with local farm fresh ingredients. We were able to do a full day tour of the volcano one day, ziplining and enjoyed a private boat where we snorkeled. Of course there was golfing and beach time as well as paddle boarding. There is so much to do but also so great to come back to a home that we were settled in and each enjoying our own space. I did rent a second golf cart given the number of people to give us flexibility and that was really helpful. Our interactions with the house manager were limited as everything ran smoothly but when I did reach out I always received a prompt and helpful response. This was truly a fantastic vacation and we hope to be back soon!
