It was nice. I feel like it could of been better. Wasnt really towels out we had to look for them and toilet paper. Had one blanket i wish it could be bigger. Didnt have no shower stuff so we had our own but woulf of been a plus had these things been there. Overall not bad. Needed wither a bigger trahs can or supply trash bags. Ill give it 79/100

Good to access everywhere and easy to car lent

Its in the middle of waikiki so all the action is just within walking distance. Its cozy, and has plenty of amenities, plus its one of rhe cheaper options out there. Only downside was AC was tiny so it got pretty uncomfortable in the morning.

Place was a lil dirty at check in and the shower kept going super hot to super cold while I was in there. The fan in there seems like it was picked up from the side of a street. It felt like it was a storage with a bed in it

Easy access to everything. Cute little coffee shop inside. Room was cozy and had everything I needed for the days I was there!! Will definitely try to come back to this location!!

Easy to get to and instructions to get in. The place was clean. Some small things would have made this excellent for me. A little coffee to go with the drip coffee machine. Some condiments like sugar. Hand was in the bathroom and tea towel for drying dishes.

Don’t expect much for this price. I came for a wedding and paid at least 100 USD less per a night than all my friends. Huge savings but just keep in mind it is very small unit and an old building. Perfectly adequate if you keep expectations reasonable.

The building is a bit older, but the room simple (just what we needed as we didn't want to spend a ton of time in a room) and extremely affordable. It made it possible for use to do other things as we were working on a budget. Parking at the building was a bit more than I anticipated and street parking is limited. Communication with the host was smooth and effective.

Place could have been improved upon tenfold by it being clean. The bed was comfortable but, the rest was camping. Found a dirty sock when we moved the TV and there was a lot of dust a dirt on the floor where nothing had been moved for a long time.

We stayed here for 7 days and did not feel very comfortable. The room was dirty and we didn’t know what the cleaning-fee was used for. We even found a bug crawling right next to the silverware. After asking for a refund of the fee the owner would not negotiate with us, while the manager was very friendly. The place is right next to a street so it can be really loud even at night.

It was not fancy, but I would stay here again. The bed was very comfortable. Communication was excellent with the property manager. Elevators were a little slow, but I was on vacation, so I was not in a hurry. Thank you.

Jan was always quick to respond which I greatly appreciated. The room was basic, outdated and old but doable because I only use the room to sleep. The bed was VERY comfortable and there was nothing a roasted oven, microwave and a full-size fridge. The TV only had a handful of stations and some of them were fuzzy and not seeable. The view was lovely with the river just across the street. I watch the sun come up over the mountains every morning. The walls are a little thin and I could hear my neighbors so bring earplugs. If I was coming alone again, I wi wild stay here again.

Decent place for the price. Wifi OK. Elevators OK. Bed was excellent. The host answered questions promptly and made an effort to make my stay enjoyable.

Very nice location, close to beaches, but the shower was basically unusable having extremely low water pressure, poor temperature control, and the showerhead fell on our head several times

Stayed here for the Honolulu marathon. It was a convenient location, close to everything we needed, at a great price. Easy check-in, no-frills, and just as pictured.

Fix the tv and tell potential guests that the water is shut off the first Wednesday of every month from 11AM to 3 Pm. That would have helped us with “bathroom planning “.

The place looked and felt dusty seeing it all around in the morning, the bed felt dirty, the towels felt severely dirty like it hasn’t been washed in months, the tv didn’t have cable only with 5 channels but I feel like that’s a you problem, we were lucky while staying how to have the water run faster eventually. So 2/3 stars at best and the only thing that saved it was us going out most of the time and being back by night to just sleep.

This property desperately needs a renovation! It’s a dump! Nothing really works well. Host didn’t want to come over & fix shower head so I had to deal with faulty equipment. AC is lousy not strong enough to cool room. Semi working fan about to fall apart. Bathroom ventilation next to zero very week. Place is very very outdated feels like a dirty place. Badly needs overall renovation! Will not recommend !!

Bit disappointed. It really was more like Student Accommodation. Pretty dated but OK. No sachets of tea or coffee which would have been good. Wardrobe door not moving. Limited TV, no CNN and I really wanted World News. Lots of gear left from previous people. Bed was comfy and clean. Bit overpriced. However I put up with and was OK. Pool area great.

This studio was very clean and cozy and has a beautiful view of the canal! Host was very good with communication. It’s close to lots of shopping and restaurants. It was a great place for my husband and me!

We had a great time staying at Jan's. She was an amazing host and communication was great the whole time. The place is exactly as listed, it is small and it isn't a hotel, and if you are looking for a hotel experience, then this won't be the place for you. What it was however was a really great place to come home to after a day of adventuring, clean, with all your basic needs, and a very comfortable bed, in a convenient walkable Waikiki location, and at a very affordable price. I think your opinion of this place will be highly dependent on your expectations. We loved it and would definitely recommend it; it was just what we needed and at a great price.

The room was nice. Close to down town. Lot to see and plenty of places to explore.

This property was perfect for my friend and I who were first timers to Hawaii! Everything we needed was included and we had a beautiful view of the canal. We were about a 7-10 minute walk from the beach and everything is very close by! I definitely recommend the cafe that is attached to the hotel! Would definitely stay here again!

Here is a spot to stay that is walking distance to many spots in Waikiki. It was nice to be able to grab cold refreshing drinks and snacks from the 7-11. This is a place to rest for the night after being out and about all day. Please note that the elevators can take some time but just to be patient and stairs aren't really an option.

I really liked how close it was to the beach and shopping.

The location was close enough to central Waikiki (10-15min walk to most things including the beach). It was confusing to find the beach access (most of the avenues are accessible only via other hotels so it took me forever to figure this out). The 7-11 and the car rental place in building came in very handy especially for water. I really appreciated the beach chairs and towels offered with the space! I didn't use the pool because it was too chilly when I visited but it looked nice and wasn't crowded. The laundry room takes credit cards (even though it's listed as coin laundry) so the credit cards were really a relief for me. Machines worked just fine. The only minor annoyances for me were that the TV did not work (at all) and I enjoy lazing around watching TV until I fall asleep while on vacation so it was odd for me to not have that option and then the shower turns from HOT to COLD suddenly and then back again at any and all hours that I tried it. Neither of these were deal breakers for me though and I probably still would've booked this location.
