Awesome property on a wonderful stream. The grandkids loved getting in the stream and fishing. The sound of the stream on the porch is soooo relaxing! Even got to see bears which was a treat!

This home was so close to the resort where we had our son's wedding, only a golf cart ride away.. The owner was always easy to reach and ck in/ck out was a breeze... The river and Pavillion added the right touch to the celebration where 3 generations and friends came together for a wonderful time for our son's wedding weekend!

We really enjoyed our week at this property in Rumbling Bald. Our favorite activity (besides hiking) was sitting on the screened porch and listening to the creek early in the morning and late at night. The resort was a bit too busy for us but we enjoyed the tranquility of local trails instead. The screens on the porch could be cleaned and tightened and a few things inside need updating but everything worked and the home was very clean. What an oasis.

We had an amazing week at Toni's property with my two sons and daughter in law, all of my grandkids, and two nieces. We did it all: played in the stream, enjoyed paddle boarding and water skiing on the lake, horseback riding, golf, hiked at chimney rock, grilling nightly at the pavilion and even had our own karaoke night! The kids love the stream and the amazing swing. What a fantastic way to spend quality time together, enjoying nature at it's finest. Thank you Toni for sharing this gorgeous property with so many of us. P.S. We also love the Apple Valley farm stand!

You will definitely get a work out but the view with a private stream made for a great family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this home at Lake Lure. The property was just as described and matched the photos as expected. When we did have minor questions pop up, Toni was very quick to respond. The home felt safe, comfortable, and clean. There was plenty of space to spread out with our group but also felt like we were all together. The house sits in a gated, golfing community but this house feels so removed from that, really feels like your in your own world. The creek created great ambiance with the constant flowing water, and the kids liked spacing around in the small pools of water (the rocks are very slippery as Toni mentions!). The amenities that come with this home really made the difference too. Having access to the pool, lazy river/splash pad, hiking trails, putt putt, boat/kayak/paddle board rentals and restaurants was perfect for our group with 6 kids ages 3-12. All the kids had fun on this trip without a doubt. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future.

This property was perfect for our family of nine. The inside was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It had a large island/counter space that allowed several to be in the kitchen at once. The screened porch was our favorite gathering space where we could watch and listen to the rushing water of the stream. Several family members played golf and enjoyed an outing on the lake. We rented a golf cart that made it convenient to easily move about the resort.

We have a large family and have rented multiple properties in Rumbling Bald. This was one is the best! In addition, the amenities of the lake, pool, boating, pickleball, tennis, and golf are hard to match at any competing mountain resort. Great job, Toni!!

This was the perfect property for our family reunion. The trout stream, bridge, and large sheltered area attached to the bunkhouse are unique features. Trout stream is beautiful and provides perfect background noise. I think this was the best overall property I have ever rented.

Just overall wonderful property. No issues with anything in the house. The resort is fun for kids and adults. But the kids really enjoyed the actual property anf surrounding grounds. Its a dream for parents who want to see their kids outside exploring nature. My kids immediately asked if we could come back, again! Deinitely recommend this house.

The pictures don’t do it justice. The property is huge with a large creek on the back. Lots of good climbing and sliding rocks in the river. The house as large with a separate cabin, an outdoor eating area which we enjoyed. Location is quiet but relatively close to town. The kitchen is large, modern and well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Overall, the quality and cleanliness of the property were fantastic.

Comfortable accommodations for 10 people and 1 kid. The property is even better in person. On-site amenities at resort were great. Enjoyed playing golf on resort and nearby golf courses. Easy day trips to Tryon to tour wineries and Asheville for breweries. Near great great restaurants.

This property is just beautiful, it had enough room for our whole group, and was well equipped for anything we needed. We hosted an event here an it went off without a hitch. The property is gorgeous and the creek is lovely to listen to. If we had any issues the owner was attentive and able to fix quickly. Overall could not have asked for a better property.

Clean and comfortable property, with a well-stocked kitchen. The clear highlight was the gushing stream that provides the perfect soundscape. The guest house deck, and swing are a bonus! Wifi was intermittent - which is not unexpected in the mountains. Would rent this again.

Second time staying here. We love the location, outdoor space ,screen porch and all the sitting areas. The outdoor pavilion provides so much sitting area ,eating area and outdoor fireplace makes it a cozy area for day and nighttime !! Beautiful setting with the stream and waterfall on the property !!! The resort area has lots of fun activities. Will come a third time next year.

Our family, including grown children and grandchildren, definitely enjoyed our stay in this awesome home and property! From the house, to the stream to the guest cabin and pavilion and the firepit. We all had a blast!! And needless to say, we got our excerise with the outdoor steps!

This property was absolutely awesome. It was so peaceful sitting on the porch and listening to the waterfall. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, they didn’t miss anything. The pavilion made for an amazing set up for an intimate wedding. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more, this house offers everything you need for a beautiful and relaxing vacation. We loved the little touches like the outdoor swing, walk bridge over the waterfall, back porch off the pavilion and of course the fire pit.

Our family loved the creek side location. The children (1, 2 and 2) loved playing in the creek and on the huge screened deck. The resort had lots to do and we loved boating on Lake Lure. The only thing that would have made the stay even better would be if there was a place for everyone to sit and eat together that was inside or on the screened porch, but we just ate in shifts or adults stood in the kitchen, there is sitting for 10 and we had 12. We definitely hope to stay again.

My husband and I brought our 3 kids and their closest friends for a fun week at Lake Lure and we were blown away by this beautiful property by the stream. We had plans for all kinds of activities during the week but ended up spending most of the time by the creek and at the beautiful house. Our 13 year olds and their two friends had daily rubber duck races and walked up and down the stream playing in the water and climbing around on the rocks. It is very slippery in places, as rocks in streams generally are, but they understand this and had a blast. We had a tiny issue with the front door lock code upon our arrival but a quick call to Tony had it fixed and we were inside in a minute. The house and kitchen offered all the spaces and seating needed for relaxing and to spread out. We spent a lot of mornings on the large screened porch talking and listening to the sounds of the stream below. Rocking chairs, chairs with ottomans, and a round dining table on the porch were constantly in use. We were completely isolated visually from all other neighbors but it’s a nice walk down to the pool, putt-putt, and the lively beach at the lake. The wifi worked great everyone on the property which was a relief for our adult daughter and her boyfriend who had a few remote work meetings during our stay. The kitchen at the house had everything we needed for baking and cooking and we prepared most meals at the house. We enjoyed the instant hot water at the sink for making tea quickly. Evenings were spent playing games and making s’more’s around the fire pit. Our family is thankful for our time spent at this home surrounded by nature and the end-of-summer bonding time that happened here. This is a top notch property for a family vacation that I would highly recommend to anyone and we were so sad to leave - can’t wait to return!

Staying here had the feel of camping but you could go inside to sleep. We loved the stream. So much fun to walk thru and explore. The kids loved the tallest swing they’d ever played on. Grilling at the pavilion and sleeping in the bunkhouse were also a highlight. The beach was fun, SUP’s and kayaks readily available. And don’t forget the ice cream parlor. Perfect place for our family of 10. Our children and grandkids enjoyed all of the amenities of Rumbling Bald Resort. But with the beautiful river, falls, wading pools and tree swing we had the best of everything right in our back yard. Went to Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed Asheville as well. Thank you Toni for sharing your beautiful home with us. We made memories for a lifetime.

Beautiful and comfortable home to spend time with family. The owner, Toni, was so accommodating and helpful, answering any questions we had re: our stay. From the peaceful stream that runs through the property, to the safe and perfect s’mores fire pit and guest cabin, complete with pavilion, all of us had a great vacation!

This property is an absolutely beautiful, well maintained property that cannot be matched. We spent most of the time at the pavillion and in the yard at/in the brook. We rented golf carts and had fun exploring the resort. We took advantage of the lake, brought our own floats and rented a pontoon boat. 12 of us stayed comfortably at this beautiful property. We did have many issues with the wifi (in the guest house). The owner, Toni, was very responsive to texts and phone calls throughout our stay. She called her handiman as well as the internet service company to try to troubleshoot the issues. Unfortunately, the internet still did not work in the pavillion/guest house, making it impossible to use the guest house TV. We hoped to do a movie night with the family, and watch the Red Sox out there, but couldn't. This was the only drawback. Otherwise, it was a family vacation that will always be remembered!

This property was beautiful right on the trout stream. Toni was amazingly responsive and helpful. We had a great visit.

Our family enjoyed the stream and all it offered. The property manager was very responsive to any issues we encountered. We enjoyed our time together in this mountain setting.

We enjoyed the house very much, plenty to do on the property with all the great outdoor spaces! Rumbling Bald was very enjoyable and the house was close to all the resort amenities and just a short drive from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time enjoying a beautiful cabin and our OWN CREEK!!! 😃. Every morning was magical waking up in nature but with the comfort of a fully equipped cabin and a guest cabin. The children enjoyed the swing so much they could not stop using it. The community is breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you for letting us stay in your house.

The property was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. I would definitely stay here again!
