We had the most amazing time at at Chestnut Springs! Lee is prompt to respond and everything from the moment we booked to the details surrounding our stay are so organized. I have stayed at many rentals and the communication and attention to detail is the best I have ever experienced. I selected this unit because of the five star rating, and it did not disappoint. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the property and all of the extra items that were available for guests to use that you don’t find at other properties. We especially enjoyed the wonderful selection of K cups for our morning coffee or hot chocolate as we took in the amazing sunrise. The views of the mountains are incredible! This condo is perfectly situated to feel like you’re the only unit out there! From the comfortable beds, to having all the amenities of home, we all had the most amazing time celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday skiing, hiking, playing games, watching movies, and just spending time together! Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a perfect condo for our three couples! We so enjoyed the fireplace, well-stocked kitchen and beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Looking forward to coming back again one day!

We had a nice Christmas at this property. This was our third Christmas here. Everything was provided. The weather was very cold, but we made a nice fire every evening. There are really only two problems to mention. One is the dryer being stacked so high you need a ladder to set it. Number two is the toilet in master bedroom, it will scare you some when you flush, It is a fast flush type. We enjoyed our stay and be back,

Attention to detail was the overwhelming experience in this beautiful condo. Beautifully appointed home with amenities usually not included in a rental. The view alone made this a fabulous weekend.

The condo was clean and comfortable. The views were amazing. The location was good for hiking and exploring local wineries or breweries. The owner answered questions promptly and checked in with us on arrival. We had a great time and look forward to renting this property again.

This is our 2nd stay at this property and it completely suited out needs. We had plenty of room to be to ourselves and also to be as a group. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it was well equipped with all the basic needs. Beds are comfortable, clean and plentiful towels, easy in/out location, great views, fireplace came in handy with the cooler weather. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condo with a fantastic view and a nice covered deck. The condo has an open floor plan for kitchen/dining/living room with fireplace and large tv. It is very clean and the furniture is very good. The kitchen had modern appliances and is well appointed. The bedrooms were a nice size and there are 3 full bathrooms-2 ensuite (master bath huge!) and a full hall bath. We thought the bed matresses were quite soft, but that is a matter of personal taste. We were there during hot weather, so appreciated the A/C during the day. A nice surprise was the washer & dryer and a fun touch was the weather station. Having mentioned the fantastic views at the start of this review, I want to close with praising the view of the night sky on clear nights. We had fun seeing the Milky Way, identifying prominent constellations and seeing a few shooting stars. We loved it and would book again!

We have stayed at several VRBO properties and this one surpasses them all in how welcoming and accommodating the unit was for three couples. You could easily spend several days visiting wineries/breweries/distilleries, playing on beautiful mountain golf courses, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyline Drive or, for the more adventurous, day hiking the Appalachian Trail. We enjoyed striking out during the day and then unwinding on the back porch watching a fireworks display in the valley, spotting the International Space Station or just enjoying the cool mountain air. This place will not disappoint and will be our 1st choice during ski season. Thank you Lee for providing the foundation for an excellent experience.

Great condo near Wintergreen Resort. Easy drive to ticket office. Great view. Real fireplace with ample free firewood. Great master bathroom with jetted tub. Great communication with host. Clear check in/check out process.

Our stay was wonderful, from the Christmas tree all decorated to the relaxing comfort of sitting by the fireplace. The condo was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the view spectacular of the mountains. We will be back. It snowed too.
