Awesome home with landscape views from both downstairs and upstairs balconies. Great room layout upstairs with stocked kitchen (plates, utensils, and spices). Large TV and a cozy couch for viewing movies with a gas-lite fireplace that kept the entire room warm. TVs in both bedrooms for late-night entertainment. Finally, easy access to Northstar Village which is within walking distance from the home or you can jump on a shuttle which will take you directly to the ski/snowboard lifts.I would highly recommend staying at this home and can’t wait to come back again. Awesome communication with host. Super responsive and very helpful from beginning to end.

The house was nice but it could have been cleaner. The master bathtub was pretty gross. The master carpet was not very clean either. It would have been nice to know I was paying a cleaning fee but still had to wash all the bedding before leaving which was the last thing I wanted to do before catching an early flight.

Spacious 2 bedroom 2 story condo within a short walk to the Northstar village. Well stocked and has high-end appliances. Pros: - Responsive owner - Passes to the Northstar recreation center - Short walk to village - Well stocked and high-end appliances. - Other nice touches like beach bags, beach towels, games, books and puzzles - Great Wi-Fi - TVs in bedrooms Cons: - Finicky dimming light switches - Complicated AV. Never could get the tv sound to play from stereo speaker system - only TV speakers. Not a big deal but the audio quality from the TV alone was subpar. Would definitely stay here again!

We really didn't use much of the condo. We didn't prep and food, didn't turn a TV on, didn't use the Rec Center. We were busy with our family wedding, hiking, etc. But the condo worked out fine. We were surprised to see that notice not mentioned previously that we were to wash and dry linens and towels. That seems wrong for a VRBO host.

Our little family of 3 enjoyed our stay at Teri's condo, it was a short walk up the trail to the village and rec center. Enjoyed the open space living room and well stocked kitchen (spices, coffee, appliances, condiments). Nature views and sounds of the creek right out the balcony. We were even more pleasantly surprised that despite the July 4 holiday, the Northstar village area and condos were very quiet and didn't 'feel' like the crazy holiday period. 10-15 min drive down to the lake at Tahoe Vista as well. We loved being able to walk out the door for nature walks or get on our bikes and hit the TMT trail around the meadow and downhill biking at the village. Communication with Teri was great and appreciated the extra beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels to use, thanks for a great stay!

The condo was just as pictured. This is a great location to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe. The amenities at Northstar are wonderful.

Teri was a wonderful host. She was extremely responsive and helpful. The condo is conveniently located in Northstar property and has everything you need close by. The condo was perfect for our small family and we’d love to stay there again in the future.

We’ve stayed at a number of cabins at Northstar, none of which was as nice as this. It’s much nicer than your average rental. We’ll be staying here again.

Well-cared for condo, had all the amenities you could think of, Teri is very nice and responsive to questions, great location if wanting to ski at Northstar or just bum around in Truckee. Would stay here again!

Teri's property is very thoughtfully stocked and well cared for. Her kitchen invites gourmet cooking, and the deck is a perfect place to enjoy a meal for a group of 3-4. Two ensuite bedrooms are on the first floor; living area and a powder room are up on the second floor. There is a large couch which is very ample for someone to sleep on. We found that easier and more comfortable than an inflatable bed ... but there's a queen inflatable bed that fits behind the couch, if needed.

This condo meticulous, fully stocked and is a quick and easy walk to all the convenances of NorthStar. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo is beautifully decorated with plenty of space. The kitchen is well equiped, if you prefer to eat in. The two balconies are nestled into the lush forest making for a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee. The resort has several nice restaurants and shops on property. Lake Tahoe and Truckee are both within a ten minute drive. The owner was very pleasant to deal with. Would definitely stay here again, if the area.

Beautiful condo, the online photos don't do it justice. High-end finishes, large ensuite bedrooms as you walk in, upstairs is a large open concept living room/kitchen with balcony and desk area. High ceilings make it feel even bigger but it is plenty big for more than our 4 people. Easy walk to gondola so we could come back in for lunch every day. Clean. Well stocked. Felt like we were at home. Fancy oven was a bit tricky but we figured it out. We love Northstar & my husband & I used to come every year prior to kids. This is by far the best condo we have ever stayed in at Northstar. Easy drive to Truckee for great food.

Great condo, with terrific kitchen and living area to hang out in, comfortable bed, storage for skis, etc. Easy to call shuttle to pick you up and bring you to the slopes, and we walked back to the condo at end of day without a problem as well. Highly recommend. Teri was wonderful, great with communication and check-in process including letting us check in early.

Our family of 4 (including two boys ages 7 and 11) had a great ski week stay at Teri's condo. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to hang out together or spend some alone time. The option to walk to and from the village was fantastic. We kept our skis at the ski locker in the village which made the walk even more convenient. We hope to stay at the condo again next season.

Could not have been a better location!

We loved the ease of walking to the village and how well equipped the unit is. It took us a bit to figure out the dimmer switches, but was glad to be able to control the lighting. We loved the heat and ambiance from the electric fireplaces and how comfortable the living area was. The beds were comfy, too. One suggestion would be to have TV controls and beds firmness controls handy to reference! Thanks and we will be coming back, if you’ll have us!

We loved staying here with our two kids, this condo is about a 10 minute walk to the village via a small path. It was easy to do this, even after a heavy snow fall. The kitchen was particularly well stocked compared to other VRBOs we've stayed at.

This is a great condo. The location is great. It's close to the Village. It is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay a wonderful experience. We liked it so much we already booked our next trip.

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful Condo. Everything was perfect. The layout is great with two bedrooms/2 baths downstairs and one half bath upstairs. The upstairs layout is wide open with a wonderful kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need to cook. I was so impressed with the detail; everything was provided, paper towels, coffee filters, plenty of towels etc. The beds were VERY comfortable with high quality sheets and lots of blankets. There was also a great blow up double mattress which the kids wanted to sleep on- easy to use and break down. The location is great- 2 streets to the village. There is a shuttle, although we drove up there since we had our 3 kids with all the equipment we had to bring with us. Parking is easy and close at the village. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

This is an exceptionally gorgeous condo in a perfect location at Northstar. It's close to the village, yet quiet with awesome views. We have stayed in many different accommodations in Tahoe over the years and this is BY FAR the nicest and in the best location. In fact, our son said we HAVE to stay here every time we go to the snow, and we will! This Aspen Grove Condo provides incredible luxury, and comfort, at a huge value. We can't say enough about it. And if that's not enough, the owners are wonderful.

This is one of the best condos I have had the pleasure of renting in the past couple of years for ski trips. The condo is set up perfectly for a luxury vacation home, no expense was spared and no detail overlooked. I would recommend this condo for just about anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay at Northstar.

This condo is the perfect romantic getaway. Picture yourselves in a Designer Condo which would be at home in Downtown San Francisco and add a Tahoe theme to it. Anything and everything you have at home and more are here and await you. The Northstar Village is only a short walk and was all redone in 2007 and features ice skating and lots of places to eat and shops. Historic Truckee is only 7 miles away with a huge Safeway for shopping. Lake Tahoe is only 10 miles away and Kings Beach has a huge Safeway also. The condo features a great room with a high ceiling and a very comfortable couch with fireplace nearby. All sorts of blankets for keeping warm and snuggling are also supplied. The entertainment center features a huge TV with HDTV picture and movies galore with HBO and Cinemax plus all the regular channels. There are also DVD's here to watch and you can bring and play your iPod or Apple iPhone 4 or 4S on the iPod dock. The porch is amazing as you can watch the snow fall into the great pine trees outside and enjoy the warmth of the wonderful gas fired fireplace inside. Very festive. You can walk out onto the porch and get a feel for what in in store for the day with the weather This is the perfect place to entertain friends or clients you are trying to impress. If you are a chef, you are in luck! The kitchen is completely stocked with all types of cooking utensil known to mankind and the imported Bertazzo Italian 6 burner stove is a masterpiece in its own right. The master bedroom also has a fine view of the woods and the snow and has its own bathroom, fireplace and Jacuzzi. In many ways, staying in this fine condo features more amenities than even a room at the nearby Ritz Carlton. You simply can't go wrong staying in this condo which was completely remodeled from the ground up by the owner and then extensively decorated. Parking is easy as one can park up the hill and simply walk down the sidewalk. All in all you'll have a great time here to ski, chat with friends, explore Lake Tahoe and Truckee and most importantly relax and realize life is a lot more than the rat race you left behind.
