A good location and overall experience in Frisco.

Upon arrival we were a little disappointed in a few things but 95% of our experience was good. What were those things? Like mini blinds were broken. Tiles (6+) were missing right in the middle of the bathroom floor. We just put a towel over them. But we made sure our granddaughter didn’t use that bathroom. The dishwasher is tiny which is fine. But the dishes were thick so not many could fit. As long as you understand this is not an updated granite type place, you’ll be just fine. Did I mention the price? We figured out this place was about 50% less than an oceanfront home 1 minute closer to the beach. Literally.! We Will for sure return if available.

Easy to rent. Affordable.

The house is in a great location to just relax and unwind. The view from the crows nest is awesome! This place is conveniently located in between towns where there’s a ton of stuff to do and see. It was a great vacation and I am looking forward to returning in the future!

Great location. Close to and easy access to the beach. Close to ferry. The house was very comfortable with everything you would need. The place was not dirty but given the fact that you are required as guests to make your own beds on arrival, vacuum before departure, and start the laundry before you leave, I would expect housekeeping to make sure the home is spotless. I would not expect to find previous guests dirty socks under the bed as we did and dirty glasses and pans in the cabinet. I clean rental houses on the side for extra money and those kind of things are unacceptable in my book. But, otherwise we loved the place and had a great time and the owner was awesome and got right back to us with any questions we had. We would stay again.

This is a great house for a small group looking for a comfortable, no frills Frisco vacation. The beds were all very comfortable & had mattress toppers for extra softness. The crows nest provides stunning views of the sound & ocean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The beach access is directly across the street, and Frisco Beach is half a mile down the road. We had a wonderful week and miss it already. Thank you!

Great location, great beach, enjoyed crows nest. Bathroom 1 has a big hunk of ceiling paint hanging, light only works sporadically, many chips/painted cracks in tub, lower part of wall mirror is "browned out". Family room "couch" right front leg collapses when a person sits on the right side, no bulb in lamp Kitchen stove right front burner does not work, all drip pans need replacing, stove has no timer Dryer did not heat up in Auto mode; we did find out it does get a bit warm in Timer mode Key does not work on back door deadbolt lock From the ice cube trays with too many cracks to hold water, to the ceiling cracks, to many other cosmetic issues, this place needs attention.

Property owner needs to reevaluate who they are using for cleaning service (it was cleaner when we left it than we received it in) With all of the updates listed I was really expecting something a lot more. Furniture needs updated (nothing matched) for someone who loves to cook the options for utensils and cookware were slim unless you bought and brought your own. Great location otherwise

Stewart Hines is great to rent from. His house is nice and cozy location is great. Simple 2 min walk to beach and close to some shops and restaurants. My family had such a great time. The nights were great sitting up in the crows nest with great views and conversation. I will be renting again

We were a little worried about walking along the busy main road to access the beach, but fortunately that wasn’t necessary. We were able to cut through the backyard to a better access point. This stretch of beach in Frisco is fantastic—very clean, very wide and never crowded (at least not when we were there). - One caveat that has nothing to do with the house: the bugs en route to the beach can really swarm. At day’s end, we found ourselves rushing to shower off, dump our beach gear, and get inside before the flies and mosquitos could attack. This is par for the course in the Outer Banks, but be sure to come prepared! - On Sunday afternoon, one of us returned to the house alone and was surprised to find a stranger inside! It turned to be a handyman making minor repairs. Understandably, the member of our party felt uncomfortable and waited outside for the maintenance man to finish up. We would have appreciated a heads-up that the handyman would be dropping by before he let himself into the house. - Pro tip: To run the dishwasher, you need to roll it over to the sink and plug it into the faucet. We puzzled our way through this, but it would be helpful if instructions had been mounted on the portable unit. * Minor note: there are very few hooks or towel bars in the rental; if you’re like us, you’ll need to use a lot of doors and doorknobs for drying stuff out.

Dish washer didn’t work, toilet wouldn’t flush using handle, very dingy, electric connections over sink iffy. Smelled heavy floral upon entry, wondered if it was cleaned or sprayed to smell
