Gramma Rikki's marvelous home was the perfect spot for our family get-together. The listing shows the extensive amenities and we loved every part - the lake and water toys, playground, hot tub, games, etc. It's a special place for playing together, hanging out on the gorgeous grounds, enjoying lively family meals, and for quiet moments in the stunning house. Gramma Rikki lives in a separate house on the property, and she personally welcomed us and truly made us feel at home. We especially appreciated her help getting our car charged. So much was delightfully unique about our stay, and we hope to return soon.

We were a family of ten including 7 adults and 3 children.
We found Grandma Rikki's home to be spacious and welcoming. There was room for everyone and we all enjoyed the outside activites. The home is about 20 minutes from Friday Harbor and a perfect blend of nature and the ability to reach town quickly. You will be about a mile from Kiln Lime Park, where we watched the orcas.
We found our host to be gracious and helpful. Thank you Grandma Rikki for the best family vacation!

This property has something for everyone! Comfy rooms and beds, oodles of amenities both indoors and out, and in a secure and stunning setting. We actually found it difficult to leave this oasis to explore the island. 😀. Gramma Rikki was over the top welcoming and loved sharing her dogs with our grandkids.

The house and grounds were beautiful. There was a lot for the kids to do. Accommodations were comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely return.

We stayed here for a week with our kids and young grandkids. The house was perfect for accommodating everyone yet allowing everyone some personal space. Great spaces for interacting over family dinners, out on the deck or out on the grounds. The lake and kayak were a hit with our 3-year old granddaughter. Our dog loved roaming the grounds, but was contained by the deer fencing. The house was very nicely appointed and well provisioned. A short drive to beaches at Lime Kiln and Co Park. Gramma Rikki was helpful on check-in and available with suggestions for activities. Definitely a place we would consider returning to in the future.

our family of 10 (grandparents, parents and kids aged 8-14) had a great stay at Gramma Rikki's. The pond was so fun for kids to kayak, swim and paddle in. The beds were incredibly comfortable so all slept well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Everyone loved it!

Our host, Gramma Rikki, is a gracious, friendly and a multi-talented person. She was very communicative from the time we reserved and all during our stay. Her property is beautiful and well maintained. Two of our family members spent a lot of days biking and hiking. The only difficulties we encountered were getting ferry reservations for the times that worked best for our travel schedule. Recommendation: call or get online as soon as you book your stay at Gr. Rikki's.

This place was perfect for a multi-generational family gathering. The youngest kids enjoyed the pond-like pool. Adults and older kids had fun playing pool. Everyone appreciated the comfortable and beautiful setting with plenty of opportunities for folks to gather or find a little quieter time for themselves.

This was a wonderful place to spend a few days away from it all with our family of eight, 6 adults and 2 grandchildren. Our grandsons took to the playground as soon as we arrived and visited it often throughout our stay. The filtered lake was enjoyed by most of the gang, swimming and paddle boarding. There was also badminton, and corn hole. The home is uniquely designed with a homey, comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool table and the grandkids had fun with the toys that were there. This was our first visit to San Juan Island so we explored quite a bit, but otherwise, we could have been perfectly happy just staying on the grounds the whole time. Gramma Rikki was a great host. It seemed pricey at first but was well worth it. We were very happy with our decision to stay here.

This week was magical! The house and grounds were amazing! Better than shown in pictures/words. The house was spotless, rich with character, and every room was gorgeous. The entire place was so beautiful and grand. Organized, labeled for ease and everything that may be needed for a fantastic vacation was at our fingertips! Plenty of towels, water toys, were available for our use. The pond added hours of fun for our group, and we enjoyed the wonderful, clean, bubbly hot tub! The space was perfect for our group, we all had plenty of room. This has to be one of our very best VRBO accommodations ever. Kudo's to the best Host ever!

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our time here! The property is spacious and no attention to detail was spared. Contact with the owner was seamless, quick, and friendly but never intrusive. All of the amenities were in great shape. The kids adored the playground, lake, and trampoline and we all loved the super comfy beds. A truly wonderful experience and we would love to return! 10/10 would recommend.

The photos don't do it justice! We had a large family gathering as as a 'bucket list' trip for my Mom. The house was perfect, with large bedrooms to accommodate many adults, and a gate at the top of the stairs to keep the toddler out of trouble. The property is serene and quiet. The house is amazing and the kitchen is well stocked with pantry items. We needed nothing. The host was accessible and so helpful and gracious with our requests.

We could not have asked for better weather the week we spent at Gramma Ricci’s. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful and well kept.
We and our son’s family had lots of fun and quality time together there. Our grandkids absolutely loved the pond and the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped, ample for a party of seven or more. There were TV’s literally in every room with lots of channels and programming to choose from.
Our dog too loved frolicking around the grounds and chasing around with Gramma Ricci’s two pooches.
If when ever there were any problems , Gramma was always there to resolve them. She was always very pleasant and gracious.
We will never forget this vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Rikkis home, plenty of room for all 12 of us, including 4 under 3years. The pond was so much fun for all our 'pirating' adventures! San Juan Island is a place I've wanted to experience for a long time and was thrilled to find a house that fit us all!!! Rikki was available for all our questions but not intrusive at all. Thank you for all the memories!

Beautiful and peaceful setting. Close to state park and 20 min drive to town. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement and time on the deck. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was somewhat stocked. Debated giving 3 stars given the overall value. Lake was full of algae, didn’t deter the kids but the adults opted for the hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub stopped working after the first night. Gramma offered to discount our next stay but we don’t take vacations that often so we probably won’t take advantage of the offer. Gramma was very responsive and setting beautiful so gave 4 stars.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location to celebrate our golden anniversary! The property was situated near the best whale watching on the island, was large enough to allow for large group meals and plenty of places to get some space when it was needed. The house had everything we needed and more! The kids loved playing in the small private lake, playing pool and ping pong and jumping on the trampoline! The adults enjoyed sharing in the fun and also appreciated the space for conversation and adult beverages!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Gramma Rikki's property just before Christmas. Gramma Rikki was so kind and gracious and treated us like family. The kids loved the exquisite grounds (including "Deer-Goose Island") and new play equipment. We brought our own Christmas tree, but it stayed in the trunk of the car because Gramma Rikki already had a beautifully decorated tree up. The lodgings are absolutely fabulous and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back to visit Gramma Rikki again soon!

We had a fabulous week. This house is a one of a kind and is amazing! We had our extended family together for a birthday celebration and everyone had a fantastic time. Lots of things to do on the property with the pond and kayaks and paddle board. And the location was perfect - close to parks and lots of hikes. This place has something for every age. The host was available, yet gave us privacy, too. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

House was situated on a lovely property near Lime Kiln State Park (whales!). About a 20 minute drive to Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. Great place for family gatherings, with spaces to all be together. Owner was most accommodating and friendly!

This is one of the rare rentals that is FAR better than it even appears on pictures. Gramma Rikki (along with her pups!) is the consummate host. She was extremely helpful at checkin, and then we never really saw her; she stays on a house on the property, but we felt we had the whole place to ourselves. The luxury cabin is an architectural beauty- my husband was taking photos for future reference. It's at once cozy and luxurious with plenty of gathering spaces for a larger group. The outside space (pond with kayak, hot tub, trampoline, wooded areas) was a destination in itself for the kids. We would love to return someday soon! Thank you, Gramma Rikki!

We loved the property, Gramma Rikki, and the entire family had so much fun. We liked eating outside and using the pond, paddleboard, badminton, trampoline, family dinners outside with a beautiful view, sunsets at the nearby beach, and day trips to wonderful parks and hiking. The entire family had fun (age range 2 to 71). We will be back next time we go to San Juan Island!

We’ve stayed here a few times and we’ve enjoyed every visit. Rikki is an excellent host! Everything is always nice and clean. The 4 king beds are very comfortable. The property is one of a kind, a beautiful setting and the kids(me too) couldn’t get enough of the lake. We’ve had some really fun pool tournaments as well, none of us are any good but it’s still a ton of fun.

Our extended family had a great week at this property. The house was spacious and comfortable, and the kids spent hours in the pond and hot tub. We played ping- pong, badminton, and volleyball during the day, ate dinner for 10 at the dining table, and did puzzles and watched sports on tv in the evenings. It was easy to drive to Friday Harbor or Roche Harbor for kayaking and shopping. We would come back any time. Thanks Gramma Rikki!

We were a multigenerational group of 9, six adults and three children. Our week at Gramma Rikki’s was just perfect! The expansive, beautifully maintained grounds gave the kids plenty of room to play and roam and they enjoyed paddle boarding and playing in the large, filtered pond. As did some of the adults…And many hours on the trampoline! The kitchen was well equipped and we had a lovely time dining on the outdoor patio. We also accommodated 12 easily at the dining room table indoors with room to spare. Comfortable beds, hot tub, pool table…who could ask for more? Rikki lives on the property so very available for questions throughout the week but never intrusive. This is a great family reunion spot with something for everyone.

This is a beautiful home that was very comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool table. The communication with the owner regarding directions and check in was great. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
