This was the perfect place for our short ski trip. The shuttle picks up at the parking lot, or can drive to Stagecoach in 2 min. No long stairs to climb to the front door! The view is amazing to enjoy from the deck or thru the window. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, even with spices! Loved having 3 queen beds which were very comfortable. 2 of the beds are in the upstairs loft but was just as comfortable as a bedroom with a door if you all go to bed at the same time. Agree with the description that the stairs to the loft aren't good for small kids. We would definitely return!

My family really enjoyed the accommodations and the view. We were in town to ski and stagecoach lifts were just down the road. The place had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Parking was not an issue and we always had a spot. The snow was really good during our stay and the roads were well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. There were no steps to climb making it easy to haul our skis, snowboards and luggage in and out of the condo. The biggest concern was the parking as it is first come first serve. One night we came back late and there was only one parking spot left. The dryer quit working but property management had it working the next day. Although the dryer didn’t do a good job of actually drying the clothes. It was a superb view of the mountains and the lake. And the fireplace was awesome. We definitely hope to stay here again.

We are a family of 5 and we had a blast in the Honeymoon lodge. Warm, cozy and sufficiently equipped. Would do it again with Stagecoach Lodge around the corner

Good location, easy access ~ 15 minutes from the touristy part of SLT in an area of condos but completely unobstructed view and felt like we were alone at the lake. Kitchen was well equipped, everything in good working order and some pantry staples were available. Condo was very clean and comfortable - homey, nice towels, some starter basics, but BYO personal items. This is as described, so not an issue, just a note for planning. Very comfortable for a couple or small family, “sleeps 6” but it would be close quarters for 3 couples and little closet/luggage space. We were concerned about WiFi from previous reviews, but had no issues. The signal was not strong beyond the living room but was adequate to login and do some work tasks as required while on vacation. We were given the wrong code for the lockbox in the checkin instructions. Expected this to be a big deal, but the management company returned our after hours call almost immediately, no problem. We visited in September, weather was comfortable so lack of AC was not an issue nor did we need to use heat, fireplace was comfy. Washer/dryer/iron/blow dryers all worked fine. Pub style restaurant and liquor/convenience store a few minute walk away. And again, the view! We would book again if we visit the area again and definitely recommend to a friend.

It is perfect for 2-3 people. Didn't include any toiletries or any personal touches but that was expected per the description. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The home overall was comfortable.

Awesome place! Close enough to everything, well maintained, clean. The only thing is that we expected some soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms because these places usually have them but they weren’t there. They did have ample kitchen utensils and new appliances! There was a slight issue during checkin but the property manager was very easy to reach on the phone and super helpful! 10/10

Awesome location, very clean, great view - enjoyed every part of our stay!

The big pro is obviously the incredible view of Lake Tahoe from the back deck. However, there are some negatives that counteracted this pro. We were given a code to enter the unit, which didn’t work. Had to call to find out there was a key we needed to get out of a box. We couldn’t find the parking passes that were supposed to be inside the unit. Had to call AGAIN only to find out passes aren’t necessary in the summertime. Seems these things could have been communicated ahead of time. Other than that: the downstairs master bedroom is tiny and there was zero room for suitcases. Fortunately it was only the two of us, so we put our open suitcases in the living room. The kitchen sink has only hot water hooked up, no cold. The listing says there is a washer and dryer available. In actuality there is only a multipurpose unit (washer and dryer combined) stuffed in the closet upstairs that had standing water in it. I have no idea if it worked.. I wasn’t going to mess with it. There was no internet. When we called about it, we were told we could try rebooting but that it probably wouldn’t work because “the internet has always been spotty up there.” And finally, we knew there wasn’t an AC, but we thought that the cooler weather would make it tolerable to sleep. We were wrong. Even with the windows wide open, it didn’t seem to cool off enough until early morning. So, if you want a great view, this is the place for you. However, you should at least be aware of the negatives.

Got thre around 5:30pm (check-in was anytime after 4) the code didn't work. So I called the management co. and the man that was on the other end was very short and rude. I did not appreciate it and when I called him out on it he said it was cause he was heading into a meeting. Still not a reason to behave poorly, especially to a paying client. Also there were no parking passes left in the basket in the house that said parking pass. I immediately texted the same gu (only number I had) as to not bother him during his meeting and he never got back to me.

The place was great, view was amazing. My only complaints are the wifi and the check in process. Multiple places for communication vrbo, where I booked, email, and finally an app i had to download.

First off, the good stuff: great view of the lake, level entrance from parking with no steps, and comfortable throughout. Now the problems, which blemished our stay: 1. No internet. This was a problem from check-in to check-out. Managers said a tech would show up two times . . . it didn’t happen. The third time, the tech showed up but didn’t have a key. Apparently the last guest lost the spare, and managers didn’t make a copy. So one day we leave our key behind – very nervous about given management practices – we arrive home: “it’s all fixed.” Nope. Same problem, 4 adults tried logging on using a Mac, laptop, and mobile phones – no luck. I sent documentation – no reply. We could connect to a router, but no internet access. 2. There are “devices” scattered through the unit that seem to be connected to a 2nd router. I looked for cameras but didn’t find any – rather worrying. 3. As noted from last year, the first floor carpet is in need of a cleaning. 4. There is no cold water in the kitchen – the supply line is only “hot.” The supply to the dishwasher is cold, which is not safe. 5. There is no functioning wash machine. There is a handmade sign on it “out of order” that looks like it’s been there for a while. Too many times I was told, “No one has ever complained about this before.” Who doesn’t immediately make a key to replace the very last one you have? This potentially great property suffers from self-inflicted wounds.

Beautiful view. Warm without air conditioning however cool nights and windows/door open helped. One way road inconvenient but understandable in winter with snowbanks. Overall, a great unit for price.

The condo is perfect for two couples. Although no a/c it cooled off enough at night to open up and let the breeze help us sleep. The view is breathtaking.

Good location with excellent view

This was a lovely place to stay. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and the balcony and living area had million-dollar views to include the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at the Honeymoon Lodge. It was clean, cozy, and had a great view. It was a little warm because there is no AC, but we knew that might be the case before we got there. There also is a washer-dryer combo that we were hoping to use, but it didn’t work. They were willing to come look at it, though we were checking out the next morning, and so the timing didn’t work out. Hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels were all provided which was appreciated. We would definitely come back and stay again!

The place was clean and great. Our only issue was the the hottub was unavailable. I know this is out of the owners control but the hottub was a big part of why we picked the property. Other than that it was very nice.

We had a great stay and we enjoyed the skiing with several feet of new powder that that fell just as we arrived. The view of the lake is amazing.

We loved our little condo. It was perfect for the 4 of us and the view is spectacular. We appreciated the little amenities like starter soaps and toilet paper and things in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels, pillows and linens, as well. The only criticism I would have is with respect to parking- it felt limited and some (inconsiderate) guests made it worse. I also called the property manager once to ask about a shovel as we got record snow during our stay. I never got a call back but fortunately, someone let us borrow theirs. Overall, a great place and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at this place. We love the fireplace, the view, the full kitchen. Would be even lovely if you have netflix or hulu subscription. The HDMI cable for some reasons didn't work. But it's trivial. We had a great time. Would come back and recommend our friends too.

We have stayed here before and still love the view! I'm happy to report they replaced the old uncomfortable couch! The drive up can be challenging if there is a bunch of snow/ice. Basic amenities like soap and shampoo would be nice -good thing we brought our own. If you plan to wash clothes make sure bring your own detergent. If you cook with any oil make sure you buy that staple before heading up too! I contacted the management through the Hospitality App to see if we could check in 2 hours early and about the first floor sink filling up and not draining when taking a shower - We never got any reply. The The Honeymoon Lodge, unit H(SL750-H) needs a deep clean... especially the stained carpet. Maybe it needs to be called something else. Enjoy the view and the warm fireplace!

Place was perfect, great view. There are no true “ski in ski out”places on the mountain, not sure why this place is listed as one. Would for sure stay there again, Nevada side is much better skiing and a lot less crowded!!
