Our stay was good, room nice and clean, great location, close to everything

We love that you can walk to everything. Good view. Overall good value basic room. I’d say the only I didn’t like was the bathroom door and a tiny tv so far away from the sitting area. We like to watch movies at night when we’re on vacation and it was not very comfortable. It would be nice if there was a coffee table or something to put drinks on. But if you just need a room to sleep in, I would definitely recommend it. I do also like the patio outside the room but only if you’re on the upper level.

This studio apartment was a cozy hangout for two on the coast. The view from the porch was spectacular and it was located right next door to s as gréât restaurant.

Pros: Easy, remote check in. Good location for walking in town. Cons: Our room obviously wasn't cleaned. There was old, smelly food in the fridge, old coffee pod in the coffee maker with no new pods, a dirty mug in the microwave, a single filthy cup, trash under the bed, and a condom in the dresser. The door handle is broken, so you can't even lock the door from the inside. They have an old broom handle to "jam" the sliding door from the inside but it can still be opened about 6" because the broom handle is too short. To unlock or lock from the outside, it's literally a padlock. The rental is managed by Vacasa, and they did send house keeping out to clean the room the second day we were there. However, then went to take a shower and the shower handle popped off and couldn't be used. Because I knew how to disassemble the handle, I was able to access the screw and tighten it in to use it. But for the price we paid, it is insane that this even had to be done. Vacasa sent in a "request to management" for a refund, but obviously we haven't heard anything back as of yet. Not worth the money. Very disappointed and will never use the service again.

Super location - postcard view !! Close to town

The lock broke. While management and maintenence were helpful, we still had to stay with a makeshift security situation for the weekend. Also, there were long hairs in one of the "clean" towels. There was no shelf in the little fridge, just a produce drawer, and the place just smed a little run down. That said, great location, and good stay otherwise.

We had a great time staying in Yachats. and loved the little town. The room was comfortable and perfectly located so we could walk anywhere in town. We were able to bring our dog which was very important to us. The only thing we didn't like is the heater cover in the bathroom was really dirty. Otherwise, we felt it was clean. Definitely the upper group of rooms have the best view! The ocean park is a short walk from the inn and has wonderful tide pools. We had a great time walking our dog along the river and picking blackberries which were delicious. We thought the best place in town to eat was the Drift Inn which is right next door. They have a great pet friendly patio and a cool pond under the bar area. We loved exploring Cape Perpetua and taking hikes in the park. The whale spouting in front of the inn was really cool (you will have to see it to understand!) The housekeeper Trinity was a lot of help and really friendly. We highly recommend this inn.

This is a great location to explore the Oregon Coast. With a beautiful view of the bay, a relaxing deck with adirondack chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening. Room was comfortable, a/c was appreciated! Yachats is a beautiful little town to explore, very dog friendly. Without hesitation I’d book here again. Just right for a relaxing holiday!

It was very clean. It had a wonderful view of the ocean. Quiet. A nice restaurant next door. Walking distance to everything. Housekeeper was very attentive to our needs. It was very easy check-in and check-out. We would definitely come back!

The carpet had a crushed grape on it and the coffee table had food crumbs so it could have been cleaner. The shelves in the refer were missing. The bed was comfortable and it had a nice view. Great places nearby to eat. They just need to work on house keeping.

The view of the river meeting the ocean is gorgeous. The location is fantastic - a quick walking distance to the Yachats State Park and Marine Garden, many restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shop and grocery store. One day, we took a longer walk from the room to Smelt Sands State Park and meandered through the wetlands trail on the way back. The room is a bit rustic but so are most of the homes and hotels on the Oregon Coast. The newer ductless heater/ AC was quiet and worked great. The only thing that threw me a bit was the lack of a closet. There is a wall hanger that works for coats, but no place to hang clothes, so just plan on folding everything. We were fortunate and had perfect weather, so we spent every evening drinking wine and soaking up the sun on the deck overlooking the water. This isn't the nicest place we've stayed in, but it is the nicest place for the price by a lot. You can't beat the value. We will definitely be back.

Great view, friendly renters on either side of me. Disappointed in non working.clogging bathroom sink, dirty silverware, lose bathroom sink handles...afraid they would come off. Dirty frig..huck in the rubber basket. Directions for Kuerig coffee maker would have been nice :) Comfy bed and room. Sweet ambiance other then what I mentioned

I’d never visited Yahats, Oregon before, although many friends had already recommended that destination. Now, after a sublime two-night stay in the ‘Shell’ accommodation of the Ocean Cove Inn, I will be back as soon as possible - and only if I can book that cozy property again! Everything was perfect, comfortable, and ultra clean. The establishment has anticipated everything an oceanfront /beach stay would need - including a Level 2 charging station for my EV. I can’t wait to return, hopefully for a much longer visit.

This is a great place to stay in Yachats Oregon. Nice view of the ocean and the cute little town. Located within walking distance of some of the best restaurants on the Oregon Coast. The unit is an older place with real hardwood floors. It has character and priced well.

Not as clean as I thought it should be. But, had a wonderful location and view of the bay & ocean. Staff very helpful. Close to coffee & eating places. Very comfortable!

Wrong side of the highway but a great value with nice towels and a nice view. Very comfortable.

We had some problems and texted as directed, never got a response and had to chase someone down the next day. We had a coffee maker and coffee but no cups, and the mini fridge in our room rate badly of rotten food. Very disappointing lack of response

We loved our stay at the Ocean Cove Inn, Shell Unit. Our most loved, our view! We could see the Yachats river spilling into the ocean.The price for the unit was good,for a couple on a fixed income .Bed was great.

Clean, fresh accommodation if you're looking for an affordable stay that's a step above the usual motel room. A short walk away from the Yachats restaurants, pubs, and cafes. Views over the Yachats River inlet and beach.

Such a treat to have a functional, clean room with such a unbelievable ocean view. The desk was a bonus for working on my computer. Spectacular sunsets!! It was really cool to not have to deal with an office, and access the room key with a lock box. The location is kind of amazing...literally 30 second walk to restaurants and the grocery store!! Very pet friendly with dog bowls in the rooms. Had a really fun and magical 5 nights hiking and walking the beach with my friend and our goldens!! The BEST!!!
