Delightful house. Very comfortable with a great view of the harbor. We saw dolphins from the back deck along with birds fishing . The highlight of the stay was taking the boat into the gulf to the little island picking up shells. There were also lots of starfish that were really cool.

My husband and I were looking for a place to work remotely for a couple of weeks in January, where we could also do some biking. This was the perfect spot! Plenty of space and privacy for both of us to get our work done, with easy access to the Pinellas trail for a ride at the end of the day. Ruth was a wonderful host, very responsive from the day we booked through the last day of our stay. And her property is charming -- clean and comfortably furnished, with everything we needed, plus a lovely view of the canal and lots of windows. Top notch!

The house was immaculate and we loved having access to the pontoon boat. Our teenage boys enjoyed fishing from the dock and taking the kayaks out. We also loved using the gas grill. Ruth was very quick to respond to our questions.

What a great place to relax and enjoy time with family! I can not say one negative thing about our experience. The home was clean and had almost anything needed for a fun vacation - beach towels, a cooler, kayaks, a boat, a grill, and even an ice machine. Being that it is a 2 bedroom I assumed it would be a bit small, but that was not the case at all. There was plenty of space and a lot of seating inside and out, and the back deck was so beautiful and relaxing. This home will not disappoint. We are already talking about reserving again next year.

My family and I spent a weekend at this beautiful property and it was wonderful! Ruth was an amazing host with incredible communication! We enjoyed using the boat and visiting Three Rooker Island that is just over 4 miles from the property. We will be back Ruth and thank you again for everything!

After a few long days at Disney World, this property is just what our family needed. A quiet street with direct dock access to the canal, our family loved spending time on the outdoor deck watching dolphins swim by. Very close to the sponge docks, local beaches and shopping, it is the perfect basecamp for a Gulf vacation. Ruth is a very responsive and kind host, with prompt and clear communication. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful property we knew we made the right choice. We are locals and were looking for a relaxing week on the water with our boat. This house has it all!! Super clean, polished terrazzo floors, all the amenities you could ask for. My wife and 13-year-old daughter along with friends that visited during the week all had a blast and commented on how great this house is. Great communication from Ruth the property owner the entire trip. 12 out of 10 stars all the way!! Highly recommend for anyone!!

Property was exactly as described. The house was clean, cute, and perfect for our family if 5. We rented the boat, which was the best part of staying here. The barrier islands are beautiful and we had no idea how wonderful our time out exploring the islands would be. I would recommend this place to friends for a wonderful, relaxing vacation for sure! A little far from Tampa and attractions or places to visit, one hour away at least, but if you are looking to relax, the house and location to go out on the boat is amazing!

The house is located on a very nice canal and has a pontoon boat for rent at it's dock. It's very close to Tarpon Springs ($10 dock for 4 hours) and Caladesi Island State park with a marina ($6 for the boat and people to spend the day on the beach. The waters are connected by the intercoastal waterway and are protected and calm if the wind is not too high. There are many sandy islands that you can anchor near and go swimming and hiking. The area has many restrurants by water or land. Very nice vacation.

Have rented this property twice. Everything you need is there. Needed to contact the hosts regarding some questions and received prompt reply. Nice being on the water. Quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! We especially enjoyed the paddle boards, beach supplies, and taking the boat out to Honeymoon Island. We will definitely rent this house again:)

This was an excellent location with access to a boat and beautiful little islands in the gulf. Ruth and Garrison were excellent hosts. The community was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We would definitely go back and back again.

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the house, paddle boards and the boat. Our days were spent on the water…fishing, snorkeling and exploring. Ruth and her husband were wonderful to work with and I recommend their property.

We live locally and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway celebrating my moms birthday. They had absolutely everything you can think of for fishing, kayaking, beach, boating, etc. My kids did not want to come inside! The host leave tons of information and if you have any questions they were quick to respond!

One of our best vacations to date! Ruth was so helpful & kind. The location was perfect. We loved sitting on the dick, kayaking, exploring the beaches, and watching wildlife!

The home was just as she described and was clean and well kept. Nice deck on back that we enjoyed. We did not use the CB pontoon boat or kayaks as we were here for a wedding. But this home is A+ if you are looking for a nice 2 bd/2 bath!

We couldn’t have happier with our stay. Everything is just what you’d expect from the pictures and description. Kayaking along the canal was a real highlight. King bed was firm which is our preference. There are many cute little towns nearby to visit. Thank you to the owners.

The home is located right on the waterway giving access to the protected waters of St Joseph Sound. The house has Terraza flooring throughout which is absolutely beautiful. The two bathrooms were great and the Kitchen had equipment we needed. The two bedrooms had room for 2 people each with additional pullout beds in the living room. My brother, sister and niece had more than enough room. The owner clearly has thought out everything and the provided binder will give you all the information you need if you take the time to read it. We opted to use their optional pontoon boat and found it a joy. The canal is tricky and shallow waters abound but if you refer to the binder you should be O.K. You are asked to return the boat with a full tank when you leave and that could not be easier. Four 5-gallon cans of gas are provided and you simply need to pay for whatever gas you use. I have stayed at several VRBOs and especially impressive is the thoughtfulness of the owner who supplied lots of items including disposable items to make the stay more enjoyable. The property is very well maintained and I highly recommend.

The property was just as advertised. Owner was very responsive and prompt. We used the boat while there and we were lucky enough to have great weather during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

It was an absolute dream of a week here! Pictures do not do the home justice, everything is well thought-out and comfortable! Plenty of space to spread out and relax, lots to do, or just do nothing! Close to Pinellas Trail, right on the sound, kayaks, paddle boards (so stable, any one can do this!), life jackets, fishing, do rent the pontoon boat, it is SO worth it! Some nights, we just sat on the boat and read while at the dock. Watch a sunset on the sound. Go shelling on the barrier islands. Fish and meet the otters and alligators in the canal. Watch the ospreys, egrets, herons and gulls. Take a walk down to the end of the subdivision at watch sunset from the shore with an assorted crowd of like minded people. Just enjoy the nice weather, sunshine and a cool glass of purified water. Best TV and interface we have ever used. If you can't find something to do here, I would be astonished! On our short list of properties to visit again and again!

We have one daughter that lives in Tampa and one that lives in Seminole. We usually stay in a nice hotel in Tampa when we visit, but decided to try something different this time. It was PERFECT! The outdoor space is fantastic, and the indoor space made us feel right at home. We only stayed 4 nights, 2 of which we grilled out in the great outdoor kitchen. It was just perfect!

Loved this location. Owners have everything you need. Took out kayaks and bikes. Was too chilly to take out boat but would have loved to! Great rental!

We had an incredible vacation at this beautiful home on the canal leading to the bay. Everything was perfect. Home clean. Well taken care of. Everything that was promised and more.
