The apartment pretty much is what it promises to be. Great location in the middle of everything, clean and relatively spacey. Kitchen was well furnished and the beds comfy. However, for people on public transport, getting the key for getting into the apartment in the next village is an inacceptable procedure. They must change that in order to get a good evaluation.

The apartment was, once again, fabulous. Great views, great location, we walked everywhere. And the new air conditioning was wonderful! We have not found any other apartments in Locarno with a built-in A/C, and this was definitely welcome. Beds were super-comfortable, bathroom very nice. We will come back!

Very easy check in process even though we were arriving later than planned. Apartment was very clean and spacious. Lots of room for a family of 4. Great view from the balcony and the air conditioning is a definite plus if staying in the summer. It made sleeping very comfortable even though it was hot outside. Overall a great experience!

The apartment is very central, less than 10 minutes from the train station and Piazza Grande, and just 2 minutes from the lakeside. It has a well-equipped kitchen, 3 beds and 2 sofas which can be slept on and 2 balconies from which you can see the lake. Nice big living room. It's on the 5th floor so very glad it has a lift! The only slight downside is that the road that goes past the apartment block is a main route into town and there's a lot of traffic on it throughout the day from very early in the morning which can be heard with the windows open, but that's a minor downside.
Contact with the host and agent was good and they were helpful in arranging for the key to be made available as we had a very late arrival time.
Overall it's a perfect place for a family or group of friends to stay when visiting Locarno.

sehr zentrale Lage, geräumige Wohnung mit drei Räumen (Wohnzimmer, 2x Schlafzimmer)
Umfangreich eingerichtet (alle nötigen Küchenutensilien vorhanden u.a. Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine (Delizio), Mikrowelle, Gewürze, usw.), Matratzen, Lattenroste gute Qualität. Waschmaschine in Wohnung. Lärm von draussen (Strasse) gut hörbar auch Nachts mit geschlossenen Fenstern. Älteres Gebäude mit Lift (nicht Rollstuhlgängig - zu klein). Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Bushaltestellen mit sehr vielen Linien ca 300m Entfernung. Altstadt, Lido, Supermärkte, Bahnhof und Schiffshafen alles in Fussdistanz.
Seesicht vom Esstisch, Küche und den beiden Balkonen. Wie auf den Fotos. Wohnungsschlüssel muss im Nachbarsort Minusio abgeholt und abgegeben werden. Mit dem Auto kein Problem, mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr möglich (Buslinie vorhanden), aber wäre etwas mühsam.

Alle 6 Kissen und Duvets rochen übel nach steinaltem Schweiß !!!
Leider waren alle 6 Kissen und alle 6 Duvets schon lange nicht gewaschen worden. Sie stanken allesamt fürchterlich nach altem Schweiß. Nachdem ich reklamiert habe wurden 2 Kissen ersetzt. Einfach hygienisch inakzeptabel. Die Wohnung war ansonsten sehr sauber.

Zentrale, schöne Wohnung
Wir waren 5 Personen und hatten gut Platz. Es war nicht Luxus, aber das wollten wir auch nicht. Die Aussicht war top, 5. Stock, mit Lift, habe den See jeden Tag genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral, was für uns wichtig war. Der Lärm, des Verkehrs, hört man, wenn die Fenster offen sind, sonst nur wenig. Hat ein Parkplatz.
Werden es weiter empfehlen und evtl.sogar nochmals Buchen.

Sehr gute Lage
Die Aussicht auf den Lago ist wirklich wunderbar. Durch die zentrale Lage ist sowohl die Piazza Grande als auch der Bahnhof / Funicolare sehr gut zu erreichen.

L'appartement est idéalement placé, a quelques mètres du lac. A quelques centaines de mètres de la vieille ville et du Lido Locarno.
Nous avons apprécié le parking et la proximité des commerces et des balades.
Seul bémol : appartement légèrement bruyant du fait de la route passante, malgré les 5 étages. Sinon , vue agréable du balcon.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

The apartment was beautiful and well appointed, and in a great location to the Piazza Grande, and lake promenade. It is important to know that it is located on a busy street so it can be quite noisy especially if the windows are open. It will be helpful to bring your own soap and shampoo

Tolle Ferienwohnung
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung liegt extrem gut, nahe vom Bahnhof, See und Piazza Grande. Hat sogar einen Parkplatz. Auch im Winter wenn man die Balkone nicht benuetzen kann sieht man den See und die Berge vom Esstisch aus. Die Kueche und die ganze Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet, es gibt alles was man braucht. Es ist gemütlich und war auch sehr sauber. Als Willkommensgeschenk war sogar ein Panettone auf dem Tisch. Wir haben es sehr genossen und empfehlen die Wohnung sehr.

Grosszügige zentrale Wohnung für 4-6 Personen
Die Ferienwohnung ist zentral gelegen, gross und gut eingerichtet - es hat alles, was man braucht (moderne, gut ausgestattete Küche mit Abwaschmaschine etc.). Der Balkon bietet eine schöne Sicht auf den See (obwohl die Wohnung nicht an der Uferstrasse, sondern in der 2. Reihe ist). Leider liegen die Schlafzimmer an einer lärmigen Durchgangsstrasse. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist es aber OK (dafür Türen zum Korridor und zum Wohnzimmer offen lassen - mit den Ventilatoren war es so auch in der heissesten Zeit angenehm). Wir waren zuerst zu zweit, in der 2. Woche zu viert (man kann vor Ort nachträglich noch zusätzliche Bettwäsche beziehen). Im Wohnzimmer hat es zusätzlich zwei Schlafsofas. Man könnte also auch zu sechst sein, wenn man sich gut kennt und mit einem Badezimmer auskommt.

Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig und (ausser die Backbleche) sauber und praktisch eingerichtet! Die Lage ist top, die Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert und die Leute sehr nett! Leider war es sehr heiss und die Wohnung im 5 Stock auch mit Ventilatoren nicht abkühlbar.

We spent 6 nights in the apartment in Palazzo Varesi and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped, clean and well located, only a short walk to the restaurants and services of the town. The service provided by HolAp was excellent. Great communication, friendly service and excellent information about the apartment and the area. We enjoyed spending the evenings on the balcony overlooking the lake. Wonderful visit, everything we'd hoped for
Wonderful 4 day visit in September 2017. Both the condo and Locarno were everything we hoped for and more. The condo was very comfortable, had great amenities, and the balcony was a wonderful place to sit and relax at the end of the day. The House Book prepared by the owners gave excellent suggestions for dining, shopping, and touring about, and we tried our best to hit as many of the suggestions as possible and weren’t disappointed. All in all, a fabulous stay and we would be happy to return tomorrow!

Very walkable to old town, restaurants, shops and, of course, the lake. We rode bikes around the lake, rented at the train station. The information book (in English) was outstanding and very helpful. We did have to supply our own trash bags, soap (including dish soap for the sink) and paper towels which was a surprise.

Wir haben eine Woche in Locarno verbracht. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral, hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf den See und ist einfach, aber zweckmässig eingerichtet. Wir waren auch zwei Tage zu sechst, wobei zwei Personen auf dem Bettsofa schliefen, was auch ganz bequem war und gut ging. Einzig das Geschirr ist etwas spärlich, auch das Besteck müsste aufgestockt werden. Praktisch ist auch der Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Wir würden die Wohnung wieder buchen.

Zentrale Lage, schöne Aussicht, nachts laut
Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, es fehlte nichts. Die Lage war top mit Blick auf den See. Da sich die Wohnung im 5. OG befindet, sehr aufheizte und keine Klimatisierung vorhanden ist, wollten wir wir bei offenen Fenster schlafen. Bei dem Krach durch Verkehr und Promenade keine gute Idee und der guten Lage geschuldet. Eigener Parkplatz vorhanden.
