Carol was so friendly and greeted us upon arrival! It was so nice, calm, and quiet!! Perfect for a getaway weekend and no better way to spend our anniversary!

Quiet, relaxing location. Perfect place to slow down

The weather turned out beautiful for our stay. We had a Relaxing, enjoyable time. The treehouse was perfect for the two of us. Carol and Bill were friendly hosts. We would go back there again.

We wanted a cozy, quiet, isolated spot to celebrate our 40th anniversary during the pandemic. This was just what we were looking for. We really enjoyed exploring in the paddleboat and swimming in the quiet cove.

3rd time to stay at Turtlecove Treehouse. Comfortable apartment, lake view - great balcony to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. Carol and Bill are wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Bill and Carol were really accommodating! Would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect couple getaway.

Perfect get away!

Our family had a fantastic weekend at the Tree House. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay there. The studio was spacious enough to accommodate 4 of us. Carol was amazing and let us use the paddle boat at the property as well as the fire pit. The views are amazing and the sunset is stunning. We would definitely be back! My “me-cation” weekend at the Treehouse was just what I needed to recharge and do a little introspection. I was able to read, relax, write in my journal and just enjoy the quiet of the area. As an ocean addict, the sound of the water hitting the shores on a windy Saturday morning was unbelievably calming for me. Thank you to Carol (& Bill) and Dottie-dog for letting me relax at your beautiful oasis! I hope to be back soon!

This is the best VRBO rental I have stayed in yet. Everything was very well thought out and clean. The view was beautiful and very quiet. Bill and Carol went above and beyond as hosts. I will definitely be going back!

The stay was great, quite and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay,will definitely go back and recommend it anyone that wants. Quite relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful weekend away at this beautiful location. Everything needed to make us comfortable was provided, including COFFEE. Carol was incredibly hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions very quickly, but also giving us all the space and privacy we could have asked for. Carol was great with our 10 year old son, and Dottie the Dog's visits were a welcome addition. (Dottie was also great with our son, who is a dog lover.) Though we had no problem whatsoever with Dottie visiting, Carol did make sure to let us know that she would keep her away if we weren't comfortable. The bed wasn't our favorite, BUT Carol made sure we were 100% aware of it BEFORE we booked, so it certainly doesn't rate a bad review. We just switched our 10 year old to the bed, we took the futon, and everybody slept well for the remainder of our visit. The lake is a short trek down the property, with a fire pit that Carol invited us to use between the Treehouse and the dock. We spent a lot of time on the dock, casting a line and just relaxing. If we decide to go back to Grand Lake, we would certainly check here first. Thank you, again, for a great weekend!

The bed was an air mattress , why would anyone have an air mattress in a rental. Got no sleep. Ached and hurt everywhere after laying on it . The futon sofa wasn't any better. Will not ever go back there. I think they should tell you your bed is an air mattress before you rent

This was a great place for my 2 friends and I to have a relaxing, fun girls weekend! I loved that the tree house was right on the water and we were able to swim in the lake. We also drove into town to check out some cool restaurants that were on the lake as well. I would recommend this place to a couple, a small family, or a small group of friends.

Carol was amazing!!!!! It's on a quiet cove. We played and fished. Great fun!!!!

The location on the lake is wonderfully secluded and quiet. The retreat has great views of the lake. The retreat is modestly furnished but has everything you need. Carol and her husband were kind and dealt with us easily. Our largest disappointment was the queen size bed was an airbed. For two people the bed was not the most comfortable.

The place is amazing. Right on the lake. Firewood for the firepit was provided. Completely surrounded by beautiful trees. Beautiful views can't be described with words. Carol was so nice and made us feel welcome. Came for peace and quiet and got just that. Definitely will try to book this place in the future.

Quiet place with a great sunset. Make sure your gps works, especially if you arrive at night. Bring your camera; because you don't want to miss out on the perfect setting for some great photos. If you're into water sports, you are in luck. There is a pier steps away for you to moor your watercraft. Really I can't do the Treehouse justice. Just book a stay and see for yourself.

We spent most of our time fishing on the dock in the cove! We loved escaping the business of life and taking time to slow down and enjoy each other! Carol is a superb hostess!!

My best friend and I met up here for a couple days of catching up and R&R. The space and place could not have been better. We basically had the little cove all to ourselves and spent several hours a day sitting in the water while my daughter fished. The tree house itself was spacious and perfect. We brought an air mattress with us for my daughter and there was plenty of room for it. It was quiet and perfect. Carol was super accomidating and wonderful. We would absolutely go back again and hope to some day.
